    reminds me of meditation. Whenever you have intrusive thoughts during meditation, you have to acknowledge it then dismiss it. let it pass. You basically don’t give attention to the thought and move on, then continue to focus on your breathing and repeat. that’s how successful meditation works :)
    so it’s kind of the same concept which is pretty cool

    Intrusive thoughts are so scary for me, I often find myself either listening to them or fighting them which just makes things worse. Thanks for the info. I immediately felt calmer when I started to listen to you ❤.

    Thank you so much for speaking about this. Everybody’s saying that you are your thoughts and all that while disregarding people struggling w ocd etc, it gave me so many panic attacks but we got this it gets better. You’re a blessing!

    whenever i used to think of my sp, that little voice would have something negative to say, but now i’m at the point in affirming that whenever i think of him, that little voice instantly is like, “oh my boyfriend ☺️, my bubbie 🧸🥰”

      Did you just persist through the doubts and eventually it changed to that? How long did that take? Currently manifesting something and when I say my affirmation the voice says “no you don’t”

    Is observing not the same thing as visualization? Because they both carry feelings, at least for me. And if I try to just say it's a thought, another intrusive thought will come in and say that my other bad intrusive thought WILL manifest. I'm terrified of manifesting something bad.

      You are always manifesting, not just “good” things, what you manifest is the feelings, assumptions beliefs etc that you generate within and focus on, what you expect etc, so when you think about the thing that you don’t want to happen, don’t feed into it, start planning as if it’s going to happen etc, stay focused on what you want x
