Greetings from Aarhus, Denmark 🇩🇰 some visitor's videos are a bit alike - Nyhavn, smørrebrød, Danish pastries, canaltrip. Good thing here, is that you show how the Danish weather can be. Very wet and windy. Could be great, if you e.g. went a bit further away from Copenhagen. E.g. to Roskilde or Elsinore. Or maybe even a less wellknown town. Denmark is more than Central Copenhagen and many will argue, that that is where you get the real picture of this country.
@@aarhusnord oh thank you! That means so much! The weather was crazy when we were there. We will be back next month as well! :) but only for a very short time. we would love to be able to explore more - it just always comes down to how much time we have! We definitely will get outside Copenhagen at some point!
@@CultureCravingCouple You're welcome. If back in Copenhagen next month, you could consider some less visited attractions. North of the city, e.g. the Bakken amusement park, which has a replica of the fictional town of Korsbæk, known from the epic Danish TV-drama "Matador". The TV-drama was filmed around 1978-81 and covers the period between 1929 and 1947. Or the Louisiana modern art Museum. On at the airport Island of Amager perhaps visit Dragør. Maybe a museum in Copenhagen itself, such as the Police history museum? Or the "Davids Samling" museum? National Museum? Expect some wind and rain in autumn, so have some indoor alternatives, if you can't be outside.
@@aarhusnord yes! This video was taken last autumn so we know what to expect weather wise. It can be a little crazy! Thank you so much for the local recs! We will check them out for sure!
@@CultureCravingCouple If you want popular culture and modern Danish history, I believe the "Korsbæk på Bakken"/"Matador" visit could be interesting. Requires a bit of research into the TV-series itself, but the whole setup shows how popular this 45 years old series is in Denmark. Observe the opening hours and days, maybe you can still catch it. Last openingday seems to be 20th of October. Otherwise, it has to be on your next visit.

@@natstrologyy it was!! Have you been to Copenhagen?
Te spandauer is also called Bagerens dårlige øje= The Bakers sick eye.
@@Gert-DK we had no idea! Thank you for this tidbit of info!
At 1:50 it is Kastellet (The Citadel). It is still an active military base, but open to the public. It is Military Intelligence that is housed there.
@@Gert-DK good to know when we’re back next month!
