I always love British accent than US accent because their voice is so polite, kind, and warm plus it's easier understanding what they say.
I really love to watch your videos, Katharine. Here in Brazil we usually study the American English, but to me, the British Accent is more easy to understand and speak. Thanks for the teachings 😊

I noticed you said 'bless you!' when Tom sneezed. Interesting, here we would say 'A tes/vos souhaits !' ;-)
'You're more likely to sound like a ... non-flowing river ... A puddle !' 😂😂Love that!
I noticed a lil' typo in 'intrigueing' --> intriguing, right?
Maybe another theory for why you don't say 'thiz is' would be like it would sound too much like 'desease' perhaps, wouldn't it?...
To conclude, I really loved this beautiful little text which was like a poetic prose you talently wrote on Cornwall to reunite all these wonderful and important secrets. Your reading of it was as always as a sumptuous dish and an exquisite delight!

Another amazing video! ❤ It took me 10 years of learning English in the U.K to become fluent. Still I'm working on my accent. Learning another language never ends. I realise most learners want to achieve high levels of any language in months, or few years. Some might say 10 years! That's a long time! Languages are my passion and I'm sorry to burst anyone's bubble but it takes time. I know it's individual... but it doesn't happen without hard work and constant practise. Like my German teacher once said when I was a child 'if you have gaps it takes years to fill them'... I understand that today. Thank you Katharine! This is possibly one of the best explanations of the subject I have ever come across. Thank you Lovely

This videos do help me a lot in British English. My novel, which takes place mostly in London, is written in British English. The portions that takes place in the USA is written in American English. I did this as a brain tease for the readers.
