Wow... a lot longer than I expected to be honest. The kids helped and that took about 40 minutes and then I spent about 5 hours there on Sunday completing it. We took it down on Thursday afternoon and my classroom was pretty much done and wrapped up for the end of the year.

I used push pins to hang the seaweed into the drop ceiling, and I used masking and duct tape for the light covers.

They are having summer school in our school. Every single room will be used. Do you have any advice on how to pack so your stuff is not disturbed. I am stressing!
My daughter is having surgery so I will be going back the last 2 half days the end of June to pack up.

Use “caution” tape and place a stop sign over areas that you do not want disturbed. I used this at the beginning of the year for my kinder kiddos and it worked great.

Thank you so much ☺️ typically, I refer to content as science and social studies, but on a few occasions I will say “across all content areas” and that simply means I teach everything. Hope this helps. 👍🏼

I love the seaweed! How did you make it?

I used the plastic table covers from the Dollar Tree. You basically cut strips from the cloth and then cut slits at a 45 degree angle on both sides. When you hang it, it looks like seaweed.
