- This video goes over the technique of performing a 2 point linearity check more commonly referred to as a two point calibration. Note that this is a general way to calibrate an Oxygen Analyzer/monitor so refer to the manufacturers instructions on proper calibration of that particular device. This is part 2 of the oxygen monitor series.
Hi George, I assigned your analyzer/monitor videos to my students who must now learn online 2/2 covid-19. The videos are valuable learning tools. Thank you for your efforts.
Thanks Angela. Covid has made us rethink how to do things.
Hey, George! 53-year RT here (finally retired 12-16-18, reluctantly!)...Enjoyed your very thorough presentation (I have lots of time to peruse UA-cam now!)… Work as long as you can/want---enjoy life! (I miss it already)

Very useful information! Just to add, that the particular oxygen cell that we use in our hospital, the useful life is 24 months. So, they should be properly labeled once they are in use. Thanks for your videos!
Thanks for your comment and you're absolutely correct....fuel cells should be labelled with the date they're opened and put into service
Thank you
Hi, im respiratory doctor. Im interested in know if we can use this product to view what FiO2 we have in noninvasive ventilator if the BIPAP don´t do the mix air/oxygen inside. Thanks
Hi: You should have the means of incorporating the monitor someplace in the circuit before the humidifer. The monitors usually have a T-piece that comes with them that allows them to be incorporated into the circuit.
You do not mention the brand of the analyzer... I'm looking to buy an oxygen analyzer and I see so many of them that say there's is good between 0-30% I need an o2 analyzer to spot check oxygen concentrators. I need to find an analyzer that is good for my needs and will be professional quality. Can you make a recommendation? Thanks.
Hi! unfortunately (and absurdly) the author of this video never cared to reply, so did you ever find a suitable one? thank you.
@@marceloovg1873 Oh yes I did find a good analyzer! Thanks for asking!
@@earthstewardude that's great! can you share which one? can it measure below 21%? for example 10%?
@@marceloovg1873 I bought the UltraMax by MaxTec... I do not think I have had a need to measure below 21%... I'm sure it will.
what are you using an analyzer for? What machine?
