- This is my Review and Showcase video for the LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Red Dragon's Tales set! Although I typically do not make videos on LEGO stuff after assembly I had to ask myself is it the best LEGO set ever? My son and I and his girlfriend spent about a week assembling this 32 bag 3,745 piece behemoth and in this video we'll show you all the really interesting things about this LEGO Ideas Lego Set!

Be transported to the Forgotten Realms with this LEGO® Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale set (21348) for play and display. A nostalgic D&D® fantasy gift for creative adults, it features a buildable tavern with a removable roof and an upper level for easy access, a dungeon and a tower, plus a posable Cinderhowl the Red Dragon figure that can be wrapped around the tower. The set also includes 6 LEGO minifigures - 4 brave adventurers, an innkeeper and a dragonborn - plus lots of monster figures, including a beholder, an owlbear and a displacer beast. Each minifigure, apart from Alax Jadescales, has an alternate head so you can choose your own look.
This building set for adults has been created in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast and includes a custom campaign written by the D&D game team! Download the campaign to begin your quest. I know I know, not a video game video, but I really wanted to share my experience with this D&D Lego set as a lifelong D&D fan.
I miss all the old castle sets. I saw the small castle set at costco for a good deal and had to get it for my kids even though they are still several years away from old enough. It sits in my closet waiting for the right Christmas.

Highly recommend the Lego Builder app with these larger sets. You can use two devices and coop build seamlessly. Also can rotate and zoom/pan which comes in handy when the manual can occasionally be a bit obtuse on piece placement. Oh also it tracks owned sets and gives you a grand total pc count/lvl which is kinda neat.

The next LEGO D&D release will be a Collectable Mini figure Line in September. That's all we know for now.
Being a Dungeons and Dragons gamer starting in 1978 at 13, this Lego set is awesome. Although, beyond the multitude of computer/video games I own, I haven't played a real D&D session in probably close to 30 years. I still enjoy things like this, so PDubs, I appreciate your review, and anything where your can include your children is definitely worth it. Reality is, my only real hope of getting this set, is my Christmas wish list to Santa 🎅🏻 So thank you and your son for sharing.
BTW, did you glue things, my Legos always fall apart.. 😢

My kid puts all that stuff together he has tons of Harry Potter Lego Mario some Star wars stuff Pokemon stuff this is ultra cool
This thing was massive lol took 3 of us taking turns, it was exhausting to build
