The hardest part is opening the cartridge from the top with a knife.
The HP 802 inkjet cartridges are really difficult to open.
A knife won't do and you may get injured. You might have to use a saw.
Awesome ! Going out and having a Rib eye steak Dinner with the money I saved from buying freakin cartridges after every 100 pages of printing ! Thank you in Advance
Do you have a video on how to make the tops for making the cartridges refillable? I love learning and doing things my self to save money
I just ordered mine today can't wait to get it and see how good it works I have been refilling mine but it stopped working the sponge got old.
I ordered one last week and I have glued it and its ready to fill. My question is that its the new clear style, how am I supposed to release the pressure? its different than the one showed.
I can fill it without changing the cover and go through all this process. Remove the upper sticker. Vualla, a hole to refill the cartridge.
Faris Bsoul but that way you could not will this much ink in cartridge
My printer is Canon pixma mg2577S all three orange lights are blinking 5 times. No print or photocopy is coming. Printer is showing that ink cartridges cannot be recognized. Error is 14001.
Pls. Help fast.
My vintage HP DeskJet 845C has a large NO sponge cartridge that is easily refilled, but it is wise to make certain seepage from the print head has stopped before installing it. I'm uncertain if I would simply prefer to refill a sponge more frequently than utilizing this modification.
Is it worked on canon E-477 series, PG-47 catridge please tel me iam suffering with that
How I can get canon 245 & 246 ctg top cover and refill ink? Please let me know

Can I use this kit for canon PG 810 and PG 811 cartridges?
Hi, do you do one that would fit my canon 2500 printer please?
Yes. they are called PG-545/CL-546 in your market but PG-245/ CL-246 in our market. They are the same thing. This kit will fit 2500: www.bchtechnologies.com/mod-kits/for-canon/modification-kit-for-making-spongeless-cartridge-with-canon-pg-240-pg-245.html
Certainly did enjoy it, thank you... Just curious tho, why does it no longer need the sponge
Good question! The sponge is used to regulate the ink pressure. The new cover has a built-in pressure regulator, so the regulator replaces the sponge.
awesome but what about the color one
We are working on a color cover.
If i put a new cartridge would printer track my ink level after hard reset by press stop button for 5 sec.
Yes, it will. You turned off the ink tracking for this cartridge. Once you have a new cartridge, it will be back to normal.
Thanks!
Where do you buy the ink cartridge tops for the Canon 245, 243 cartridges.

You dont need to remove the sponge first. You may scratch first and the dust particles will trap in the sponge. Then remove the sponge and glue it. No need to wash and spoil the head.
I think I got it, there is a tiny hole with a clear type of plug in it. I guess that's where you inject a small amount of air in?
Let me take a picture of the cover when I am in the office tomorrow. Just to be sure we are talking about the same thing.
Sorry, I mean Monday.
Legal
Hi, Looks useful ,but where can i get this top heads refill caps
Here they are: www.bchtechnologies.com/mod-kits/for-canon.html
isnt the sponge supposed to make sure ink dosnt start drippin out of the head?
I was wondering that myself. The amount of pressure on the printhead with the extra ink must have some influence on it. Yes the sponge takes up space and therefore less ink in the cartridge but it may relieve pressure on the printhead too.
The ink will stop seeping out of the head once things have "equalized", so you only have to make certain nothing is dripping before installing it. I have an HP cartridge (2001 printer) that has a large ink reservoir with no sponge that is easily refilled. The no sponge cartridge design is valid. I might simply opt to refill this cartridge more frequently. It doesn't take that long to pop out a cartridge to inject 7ml of ink.
Pau Gasolina maybe this device is making it pressurised?
I suppose the only problem is if your print head breaks, you have 20ml of ink that can freely flow out of it and spill all over the furniture that the printer was sitting on. the sponge would prevent that.
Especially during a deep clean from maintenance menu. A lot of ink will be sucked out. I am tending to stick with sponge
good video
Do you have PG47 & CL57 kits?
Did the cartridge changeo r something. I'm trying to open it it's so difficult.
Find the seam and it should be easy.
I was able to get it by prying. Do you only cut on the front side?
Yes, the whole cover should be off easily once you have an opening on the seam.
Ok thanks
what other ink can I used where can I get it please answer me
I like to use dye ink in this cartridge, although the cartridge is designed for pigment. Keep in mind that the cartridge was designed for one-time use only, so dye ink will make it having a longer refill life. Also, the dye ink is cheaper too. You can use BCH's ID30-K.
Thank for replying can I buy the paint locally like walmart or somethink its not the same thing
Where cN I find that pain dye ink
Tattoo ink or something like that
I have cl-211xl. And pg-210xl. For canon
WHY DO THIS? WHAT FOR???
have a guess, seriously, sit down in a quiet room and think about it. Scratch your head if it helps.
autoparts321 one of those pg 240xl are about 20 or 25 $ right now ,and a refill kit is about 15 to 20 $ and last you about 5 times or 10,depends, so yeah, thats why
