The 2000s commercials I remember the most as a kid.
Now Marineland is broken, has a new owner, and is on the brink of closing. It would be better if they got rid of all the animals and shows and it was turned into a rides only park.
Marineland is like Krabby Land from SpongeBob, the commercials made it look amazing, then when you get there it's a dump.

They ran the 93 series commercials in French here in Qc City back in the days. I wanted my parents to drive 12 hours to Niagara Falls for Marineland. Fortunately they didn't. "Tout le monde aime Marineland" song stayed in our heads for decades.

That topple tower ride was never and I mean NEVER once open or even operating. That trailer came in 2008, I remember going to Marineland that year and it wasn't open. 2009, still closed. 2010, still closed. And a couple years later I went again and I remember walking past it and seeing a bunch of plants and vines growing all over it. It probably ran into technical problems and they never bothered to fix it.
It had a number of operating issues due to its complexity’s, also the foundation it was built on was utter shit rendering it unable to operate unless they moved it to a new concrete pad.
There were a number of ongoing issues. It was active for a few years until shutting down in 2011

It was bumping in the 90s when I was a kid can remember barely being able to walk around. fast forward to 2002 when i graduated elementary school they thought it was a good idea to take us to marineland. WHAT A SHOCK super depressing hope they shut this MARINE PRISON down!
I actually remember the ads as a kid. The '90s ad campaign was pretty. You know catchy it almost worked on me but my father knew the truth about that Park

Everyone use to love Marineland but now everyone hates it due to the beluga whales dying i don't live in Ontario but i remember seeing these commercials when i was young mostly the 2014 ones and i can't believe i use to want to go. I found a better Aquarium to go to
this commercial doesnt have a clue they can keep land in the lyrics but they need to replace marine with Wonder since Canadas Wonderland is the real park Everyone loves

I adore the ones from the '70s to the early '90s.
Commercials *#2* 0:55 and *#6* 3:48 are the best of the lot (I can't stand the sound of children singing).

Honestly marine land isn’t what it used to be anymore no thanks to years of poor management, poor choice in leadership, neglecting proper welfare for the animals as well as not getting ahead with the program like other zoos and aquariums has. Because of this, we can no longer have whales and dolphin in captivity, (not all are able to afford to go to places to actually see them). If they had just made proper choices like having better managers who doesn’t always thinking about money and cares for animals, have better welfare treatment with the animals such as renovating larger habitats, and add more enrichments (like built in underwater current treadmills for whales and dolphins) than maybe it would not had lead to this. and maybe for the Cetaceans focus more on conservation and education rather than entertainment (they can use robots for that)
This place really aged well in 2024. 🤭

There is a version of the commercial at 6:12 that aired only one season, exactly which I can't pinpoint but before 03, that included for some of reason video clips of the session singers.

Growing up in Buffalo, I used to see the 90s commercials all the time. Always really wanted to go. Glad my parents always said no. That place is whack.
Personally I think the only the new owners will make this survive... ish. Is to remove all animals, focus much more on rides, update the theming and even possibly a name change because of how much marineland has a bad rep. But thats going to take a lot of time and money. But for now i dont even get why they are open. You cant do much at all and its basically empty

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is way better than Marineland because it’s just an aquarium where you get to see lots of fish instead of animal abuse

I don't even know how many times I went there as a kid. Since it was just over an hour away. I swear we went every year in the 80s. I'm sure I was there in the 90s as well. But it's got to be well over 25 years since I last went. Kinda wish I did go one more time before it went downhill. What it is today is like the last little bit of scab hanging off a wound. Which is really sad because I have such fond memories of this place. Watching these commercials was hard. Then I think of how propaganda can brainwash people into thinking it was cool. Seems like every zoo is under the microscope now, and unfortunately some of them are worst then others. So what is the unknown dark side of the park. Has anyone died in deer park, from maybe getting trampled by the deer? It's not like they were all friendly when you get food in your hands.
It is kinda sad how everyone loves Marineland.
