I'm currently a sophomore at UCLA, I actually remembered my admissions to UofT engineering physics and I'm lowkey regretting for rejecting it......IM VERY HAPPY TO SEE YOU GETTING IN MCMASTER HEALTH SCI Program!! Awesome job!!
Hey guys! I'm currently in the process of creating and editing a stats/ec's video, as well as planning a separate video focused on McMaster Health Science. If you have any specific questions, let me know and they will be answered to the best of my ability in the video!
Ahhhhhh it seems like we all had the same reaction to health sci!! Saw the blue square before the letters were even added to the portal and sat around confused and nervous for like an hour. When the "View letters" came up the pop ups kept getting blocked too... I was in so much denial lmao
i love this video much lmao legit made me laugh so many times!! so relatable lol. a stats video would be totally helpful!! congrats on getting in to all those universities!
Oh my!!! Congrats girl. I still got about a year and a half to go until I start applying. I really want to get into McMaster Health Sciences!! Girl... help me out with the last two years of high school, any tips or anything?
@@JeanneLin Literally a life saver. You don't have to answer... but what average did you have? And was the application hard for Mac? Ouu as well... did you take physics in high school?
Congrats!! That's so exciting!! Did you ever consider going into Western Med Sci? I still have 2 years to go before applying, but I'm thinking of applying to Mac Health Sci, Mac Life Sci and Western Med Sci. Also I know OUAC has a fee which allows you to apply to three programs but since you applied for more than 3, did you have to pay more, or did the one fee cover all the applications?
I didn’t apply to western med sci since I didn’t really like the western community (a lotttttt of parties). But Western med sci is really excellent and a great major if you’re interested in pursuing medicine! The OUAC fee covers three programs (not schools) and any additional programs will cost you another $50 each.
literally in the same boat right now...i got into uoft, applied quarms + mac/queens health sci so i'll probably hear back way later in the year. congrats !
Hi I wanted to ask which course in grade 12 is easiest to take online in the summer. I really wanted to take one this summer so that I have a spare in grade 12 to make my average go a little higher. For grade 12 my courses are, functions, calc and vector, French, bio, chem, physics, English and plf (fitness leadership) all of these courses are academic.
I would definitely avoid taking any maths or sciences online, especially if you plan on going into STEM programs in university. I have also heard that some competitive programs at UofT or Waterloo won't accept summer school credits so that may rule out English which is necessary for all programs. Personally, I find French the easiest out of your list and that's the one I'd choose to take.
Hey! Great, insightful video! I was wondering if you completed the Laurier Applicant Background Summary Form? My average is similar to yours and I also applied to Health Sciences this year, so I'm wondering if it's necessary for me. Thanks!
hi there! just wandering when you applied to U of T....do they place emphasis on extracurricular? What was your high school average if you don't mind me asking?
😂😂 Let me tell you my reaction was the exact same!!! The first thing I said was YOU'RE JOKING and MOM lmao I'm still shocked. Congrats to you! **edit: ^Mac health sci
@@veronicaluu3094 I know! QUARMS was actually my dream program last year and if I had been born a year later, I wouldn't have gotten the chance to even apply. New policy seems kinda racist to me ngl:///
Hey I'm a year late but Congrats! I was wondering how many programs did u apply to on the OUAC and how many would you recommend applying to? Also do you have to pay $50 every time you apply to a program?
hi leanne, great video. I want to ask how you applied through QuARMS? Do you indentify yourself as black/indigenous? thank you so much and sorry if i made an inappropriate assumption about your race/ethnicity!
Hi Christina, the year that I applied through QuARMS, they accepted applications regardless of race/ethnicity. The new rule that you have to be black/indigenous was instilled the year after mine.
Also, do you mind me asking what your average was for apply to all these programs? I'm currently in grade 11 and I was wondering if they also look at your grade 11 marks in the application or just grade 12? Love your video btw!

Is QuARMS just for Black or Indigenous applicants? I was shook when you applied :0
In May of this year, they changed it. Only black and indigenous can apply to the GuARMS now.
