Nice, you wouldn’t know the berries were there under the leaves 🍃
I want to try the white berries haha!
"I'm not sure that would be such a bad thing though"
Haha, totally agree with you buddy
Yes they are delicious!! we have a massive wild mulberry tree like that one in the middle of a council estate in London
Where about in London?
Great video. I know this tree in my hometown Briones- La Rioja- Spain
Thank you for sharing
I just discovered your channel & love it!
I think we have pretty similar vegetations.
Greetings from a german forager :)
Another fascinating video mate, keep up the good work!
Are there any lookalikes, especially the berry? I found leaves and berries that look very similar just a lot smaller.
Nice tree. I've heard the berries taste great.
The birds eat the fruit & poop out thousands of seeds that quickly sprout on any bare soil on our property in Minnesota, USA (zone 4). I love to eat the mulberries raw & make jam. If I didn't pull out the volunteer trees, my entire property would be engulfed in mulberry trees.
Lots in Johannesburg. Almost a curse. When the berries are ripe, the birds eat them. Parking a car under any tree results in a car covered in purple droppings. Trouble is the colour penetrates the paint and my white one had permanent stains.
Lovely fruit, though.
My Mulberry tree must be a different variety from that one. The fruits are much smaller and are quite nice when black. It took 25 years for it to have fruit but now has thousands of berries each year. I have made Mulberry gin but it is nowhere near as nice as sloe gin. The tree is now leaning at about 45 degrees so I guess it will fall over soon.
How nice, what flavour are they Marlow?
Similar to blackberries but a little bit sharper and much more juicy :)
Where we can find them. This is one of the best fruit ever...
I want to know also! Have you found out where to get them yet?
I didn’t know we have mulberry’s in the UK.. where can I buy one from ?
that is obviously morus nigra. no fruit stems, thick leafes.
