After the menu button I just hit the up arrow and it took it to the oil change reset/clear. I know your comment was a while ago but maybe it will help someone else 😊

Yes - if you are sure they did the oil change. They may have forgotten to reset yours. I wish you the best!

Honestly you should run it until it hits zero. It’s just counting down the miles to until 7,500 miles really. It’s not doing any fancy oil analysis for you. The synthetic oils today are so good that you can likely go 10,000 with little concern. Thanks for your comment!

With improvements in synthetic oils, engine design, filters, etc I just go with the manufacturer recommendation that is displayed by that oil life indicator. Wait for it to go to zero percent, and then change the oil and filter. It will likely go to zero around 7,500 miles or so. I hope this helps.

@ApacheRanch I did that and nothing happens. My button is broken I pushed and held for almost 5 mins and nothing happened tried it on a 2017 equinox and it beeped and cleared the trip in 5 secs
