Just got a ESP Buzzz, didn't have much time throw before winter but feels good. Was also curious on MD3, so you'd say its much more stable? What would you say in regards to glide between the two?
The buzz has 4 glide and the md3 is 5, I think it is pretty accurate to the flight numbers, Usually the more dome a disc has the more glide it translates to. So since the md3 is more domey then buzz that 5 glide seems about right. I did notice it was a touch more over stable. Not sure yet how that new plastic will beat in so could get a lot straighter over time!
I currently have 4 midrange discs on my bag, which I'll list on the order of stability I've found them. Discraft Buzzz ESP (5 4 -1 1) - basically flies straight, maybe with a touch of fade to finish. Discmania Method Vapour (5 5 0 3) - rarely has turn / flip up, and will fly straight for 90% of the flight with a hyzer finish. Discmania MD3 (5 5 0 1) - this is more stable than the Method, and wants to hyzer 60-70% of the flight. Discraft Buzzz OS (5 4 0 3) - this is basically a Zone with more speed and glide. On an anny release it'll finish on hyzer. Flat release it'll start fading at 50-60% of the flight.
I love my MD3 for slow 200-250 ft turnover shots but I bag 3 buzzz for all kinds of shots. My z buzzz I can get 300 ft with. Buzzz wins because I can throw my buzzz with alot more power. If I get into my md3 it'll turn over hard
noticed a few clips where you labeled that you were throwing the md3 when you threw the buzz lol. otherwise great video. been a big fan of the md3 and most of my friends throw discraft
@@colebordis its alright. I did editing back in high school so its something that i like to pay attention to lol. It definitely takes time and practice for editing videos
@@colebordis I just ordered one earlier as I was ordering a Full Tilt for the memes. Recalled watching this vid some time ago to get an idea of it. Hopefully it can replace my Compass, which while a good disc just feels too big in my hand. Kind of aiming for that mid trifecta of a Roc, Mako, and MD3 to get a shorter mid with gentle fade, a dead straight shot, and a straight, longer shot than the roc that will fade noticably but not super hard. Compass has filled that last shot for me, but I suspect Ricky has bigger hands than me lol
the disc disappears 1/3 - 1/2 way into it's flight. If you're intending on taking this youtube thing seriously, perhaps invest in a good camera (larger sensor) that can deal better with bright and dark areas, and a good lens. Generally speaking, you want to get a narrower field of view - you'll have to set up your tripod a bit farther back, but the disc won't get as thin in the distance and disappear. (and a clip-on mic isn't expensive but will be needed)
I must say, you really have potential to be a big disc golf youtuber. Very comfortable to watch. Keep up the good work!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it!! Gonna work on getting some more content out consistently soon!
geez man so smooth. great form!
I’m always going between these 2 discs in my bag. Love the feel of the MD3! This plastic from Sweden is top notch.
They definitely made something special!
The new C Line is Italian plastic, not Swedish
Your technique is consistent enough to make your comparisons useful. And the video was well done. 👍
Thanks, Glad to hear it!!
I love the style of these videos, let’s see that cart!
Thanks! I’ll definitely have to do a in the cart soon!!
Super high quality production. Loved the vid keep it up.
Thanks Gabriel, Will do!!
If you get a chance I would recommend trying out their new MD1. I think you'd enjoy throwing it
Nice camera presence. Nice editing. Great video.
Thanks!!
Not bad bro, enjoyed the video, editing and music. Scribed.👍🏼
Glad to hear it, thanks man!

You should do the buzz VS m4

Sorry about that, was still getting used to the editing part of things. I agree, it definitely fills an important role in the bag!

The music is awesome, what is it?
It’s actually some background music I found here on you tube!
try pathfinder from thought space plz most under rated mid range
Haven’t heard of that one Corey, I’ll definitely have to check it out!
My MD3 feels more like 5 5 0 2 (2.5) at 300'
Flys more over stable than the numbers suggests.
Buzzz for the win

Home course!
Nice to see some locals!!
Is it Taylor Park? I've played it once (about 6 years ago). I'm not certain since it's been awhile.
the MD3 is my go to mid, the harder you throw it the more stable it becomes
I agree! Definitely a good straight to stable flyer for every arm speed
