This is my independent review of the Maker putter by Golfyr expensive but does it work? The MOST EXPENSIVE New Putter of 2024 You've EVER Seen! (CAN'T STOP HOLING)
Will this take you away from the conventional way of putter and never go back? We all know the big brands on the market for putting are Scotty Cameron, Odyssey, L.A.B golf & PING but does this beat them and will more mid handicap, low handicap golf put this in the bag over the big brands.

The price is reasonable, for something that is genuinely 21st technology and statistically the most used club in the bag…
Very futuristic looking and I like the look of the alignment and depth. Unfortunately, the head-cover looks like I’ve already forgotten it on the 12th hole, never to be seen again…😂

I have the LA Golf Malibu putter... Also carbon fiber. I would pick that over this tin can sounding putter, any day of the week. Also has a large sweet spot and SIK insert for the face.
I have put my putter cover away and bought a cheap £12 magnetised one. Mine is £50 secondhand on Ebay or around £100 new. SCOTTY California.

What technology is my question. Just because it's all made of carbon fiber doesn't mean it's full of tech. These companies with their x/500 clubs is pushing me away from their companies. I have a bag full of cobras (aside from my wedges), and when they came out with the new 3d printed irons that are x/500 it made me want to stop supporting the company.
As a company, quit purposefully creating scarcity to up the price. I understand if there is a special version of a club that is limited, like a special color combo or something, but for a sport where people are competing with each other, what is the point in creating scarcity? (I know, the answer is money)
Half the cost of the Ping, Callaway and Taylormade etc. clubs go straight to the pros in sponsorship fees and to advertising companies. That's why clubs cost so much.

Alex when it comes to putters for me over my sixty years of golf play the weigh of the putter is key, I don't care about the look or sound off the face. In fact over the last 30 year I have tried over 50 putters but I am still gaming my 31 year old putter rust and oxide included in the look, my playing partners think it is horrendous looking. I just can't find one that compares to the feel so I game on with it I just don't care about their opinions.
I'm hoping the packaging satisfaction and giggles were sarcastic.
The putter is absolutely gorgeous 🤩 but for something I'm gonna tap a ball with I don't need to spend that kinda money. I don't care how good it feels. There's plenty of cheaper putters that feel great. I catch a good eBay deal or something though? Sign me up! It is definitely a thing of beauty
Yup. 1000 tourneys one with the older Ping putters. $100 eBay refurbished can be an "Anser".
All it needs is a rear wing that stays shut on the backswing and opens up on the the through swing and you’ve got a putter with DRS F1 technology 😂
for $625, it better make putts for me! I will keep my super stroke odyssey that cost $175 and I love it.

For that much money it better be adjustable for lie and loft or it's just an expensive mallet on a stick for most golfers.

the glossy makes it look cheap- the shape is fine, but would've been better in a satin. Just my opinion.
People have no issue spending big money on drivers you might use 10-11 times per round, but I bet very few will justify to themselves the price of this putter which they would use on every hole at least once.

It looks like a double bend mallet putter mix with a stealth driver. I don’t think it’s all that crazy. I’ve seen a lot more interesting Hutter creation than this.
No putter will help you if your alignment and touch isn’t good. Only after this, putters and golf equipment in general start to matter

I simply hate carbon fibre, I prefer Titleist drivers to others where it’s one of the few decent ones without carbon fibre, I also ride bikes (as my other expensive hobby and I choose premium steel over carbon fibre (and even over aluminium - I’d happily ride titanium but aren’t as common)
To me that looks a sub £50 putter, I’ll stick with Scotty Cameron 👌

@@dustinroberson1865 a Reynolds 853 or 953 (stainless steel) are not heavy, being stronger than aluminium they’re not as thick tubing and I would sincerely have more faith in them than a carbon frame simply 2 kilos lighter than them….

Good marketing by wrapping up real nice - You can really tell someone fell down on the head cover. Could of put a Golden P. on the cover. Something that would of made it look like money is dripping out of your bag.
Everything about that putter is weird. I love carbon fiber and the sciences behind it, but the odd curve of the neck and the driver look of it bothers me. I don't think I would adjust.

Not sure you want leather, usually you want them breathable so moisture isn’t trapped
@@itshadouken MY PXG putter cover is leather. I doubt my PXG cover is air tight. No issue with moisture. It looks and works great For 702, you should get both type covers. .😅

The grip is the only part I like. Sounds like a miniature Nike Sasquatch driver. Not a buyer nor a tryer.
looks like its so easy to roll consistently, but the main problem with this putter is that you can't scoop it up with the little backhand flicky move
YR will probably be pronounced YOUR as it the latest fad to take the vowels out of words.
Or the Y is replacing the E in golfer and it's meant to be pronounced that way?

I only hope in choosing your significant other you are paying more attention to the person’s inner quality and beauty. Otherwise you will end up a very unhappy person indeed.
Ping ownedvputters at one time... sound was "ping". Who TF cares sound ...go in the hole = confidence. Alignment aids seem no 1 to me.
Sounds shocking, carbon does not always mean better, if it was a cheaper putter it would av got trashed

I really don't like the look or sound of it, I think I'd find that alignment aid really difficult to use. That being said, if I was holing more putts with it it'd be straight in the bag! (And be worth more than all the other clubs on the bag combined 🫠😅)
