Thank you Paul. I just purchased A Motor Guide Xi5 and watched your install videos numerous times to make sure I did it correct. Your videos were right on.!!!!!
Very Good, is it still running well, tossing and turning on a deciding on Minnkota or Motorguide. Leaning towards Motorguide not for price but for simplicity and less stuff to break.
You will need a 60 amp circuit breaker for a 36v system, if a 50 is used you will not get maximum thrust.

Thanks for watching
Thanks for the walk through on this. I am trying to get something together for my jon boat. Need all the help I can get. 😉
Glad it was helpful! If you have a 12v system you can connect two batteries together in a parrallel circuit and run it all day.
Thanks buddy for the great video my friend 👍
No problem 👍
thank you for visiting
To power on this particular trolling motor do you simply deploy it? Thinking about getting a similar motor.
Great video my friend.. 💝💝👍👍

If you run the drill in reverse to drill the hole you have less of a risk of chipping the gel coat.
I think that was his problem. He started the drill in reverse before he got the pilot hole drilled.
Was your boat already wired for a 24 volt motor
Yes
@@251reeling9 you couldn’t use the existing plug
@@thundercat3922 Yes I could have but I didn't like the wiring on the back of it so I started fresh.
