Amazing clothes from Paris! I love the shops looking so much like boutiques rather than thrift shops. Those clothes, the materials and designs were one of a kind. My favorite video yet. I am a child of the 1960’s so the clothing was up my alley. Thank you for sharing.
The sweater dress I my favorite, add the large scarf to it. I'm so happy for you. My husband and I went to France in 2017. We did a Viking riverboat cruise from Paris to Normandy beach . One of the cities we visited along the way was Rouen. After our guided tour of the city, our guide took me to her favorite resale shop. It was amazing . I bought a pair of flower earring, silk scarf and some French made trainers. I wish I could have visited more shops but time did not allow it. Never the less it was an adventure of a lifetime .
Really fun watching someone who’s knowledgeable, appreciative and creative doing a Paris vintage shop on a relatable budget! Love your finds - floral jacket, gorgeous scarves & overalls especially.
These stores were fabulous, their inventory was amazing, and you showed such great restraint. I thought you looked adorable in everything you tried on. When you put on the green gingham blouse I had exactly the same reaction as you did! It is perfect for you.
looking forward to seeing how you'll remake the last dress (new buttons, or just make them more evenly spaced?)! and that Belgian deadstock twopiece set is EPIC - I love how the pattern on the vest is symmetrical but isn't on the skirt
For the dress with the missing button in the middle you might want to try removing the button from the top and sewing it on in the middle and then just pinning a vintage brooch in the space where the top button used to be.
Awwwww I want a walk in closet so bad 🤣😂 I've fallen in love with clothes. I used to just cover myself up and blend in the background cus of being bullied in school. Now I suffer bad social anxiety but decided to wear what I want and found a style I love, western bohemian. I'm forever searching for my perfect prairie style dress and checked dress or skirt. 🤣😂 your videos just fill me with so much inspiration. Also learnt to take clothes in thanks to you, I dont have a sewing machine and currently have no room for one so I hand sew everything and it helps me find those unique peices which sometimes dont fit, I can make them fit now. So obssessed, I buy second hand but on the internet, theres not many shops in stoke in the UK to thrift so I search a brand like free people, urban outfitters so on on Ebay and people sell clothes that they've had but never worn before so I get very good deals for especially free people clothing, cant afford the full price. But it's my own way of thrifting from home.
I love that little blue blouse with the ruffles. I guess only really skinny girls wear orange pants in Paris.😉 That little orange and yellow blouse was so seventies. The Rick rack dress was too cute! Everything in that second store was so you.
Amazing finds! 👏 Paris did you very well and you have a great eye. That blazer was my favorite too. My mother was a French teacher so I have many amazing travel memories exploring France with her. Cannot wait to go there with my kiddo someday! 💕
