Just look at Mel and Kson now they are ofc happy at doing what they want but they are not as famous as their Holo days because the circle is limited and no one directing their content. Kson is more entertaning during her stay at Hololive. I want to watch her now but it just not the same

It's funny because it's not a coincidence... UA-cam recommends videos that are on trend like suddenly a video from 2 years ago suddenly gets a few comments or views (probably from some few fans wishing aqua to join vspo and searching "aqua" and "vspo" on yt) once the recommendation begins if more and more users clicks on it and comments on the video... The youtube will recommend the video to even more people. That's how it works

VSPO is underrated outside Japan. I dont regret to know them, theyre really fun to watch and entertaining. Unique personality as well as their skills in game esp fps is good.
I feel they check many of the requirements to be popular with the vtuber audience over here in the west so it is a bit of shame they are overlooked. They are perfect for people who want a middle ground between the 2 current biggest companies, as it a girl-only group with many cute and talented members like Hololive but also has a more laid-back culture closer to Nijisanji

They could've easily won this if they pressured the Valk that ulted but they were all focused on the team beneath them. The team landed near them and killed towa. Her ult would've been really good to throw at the teams below.
the inexperience show clearly in this one. Aqua clearly look up and notice the valk ult but choose to ignore it for some reason. ofc that Valk team will try to contest them on high. Still a good experience tho.
in the end it's not all about winning, but having fun while playing, even in a tournament.
Suisei also fell down here at the start because the comms werent clear and she couldmt see the ping properly.

But yes, the larger the fanbase, the higher percentage of toxic fans. For example ‘A’ has 100k followers, and ‘B’ has 1M, say 1% are toxic, that would be 1k for ‘A’ and 10k for ‘B’. It’s unfortunately inevitable.

Aqua’s skill is def that of Predator, she just mostly solo queues in ranked, and ranked solo queue is hell especially in later elo with no coms. So with a premade team of good diamond to master players w/ comes Aqua could likely make pred.
Aqua is good at solo, but it doesn't always translate well to being an effective 3-man stack. Also, the jump in difficulty from Diamond lobbies to Predator-Master lobbies is very high.
I don't think Aqua would make it with other Master rank players these days - she'd need a _skilled_ Predator rank player at least to be the IGL to lead her stack. Even other Predator rank players have difficulty these days.
