Anslem aka KUMANDER DAOT, you deserve to be one of the ambassador in our tourism industry...keep it going KD, thanks and may our Lord thy God bless and protect you..
I didn’t know what the abaca plant looks like until this amazing vlog, KD. I feel like the cost should be >65 pesos per kg since it is so difficult and laborious to harvest/process. They certainly deserve more than what they get paid for, and hopefully the government provides some funding to support them especially during the typhoon season. L The province looks so majestic with its beautiful coastline, lush forests/hills, and verdant green pastures. Thank you for taking us along with you to remote places. Truly appreciate your hard work to educate us about the Philippines and the hard-working Filipinos. Take care always, be safe, and God bless. 🥰❤️
KD! Your aerial footages are breathtaking! Thank you for showing the beauty of my country that even I haven't yet had the pleasure of exploring. All the best! ❤
Another fascinating vlog! The drone shots of the coastlines and landscapes are amazing. It's remarkable to see the Filipinos still using century old method of processing abaca. Interesting to see local manufacturing of surf boards. As always, your narration is so informative. There's never a dull moment in your vlogs. You sustain our attention and excitement as we watch your videos. More power to you and looking forward to more adventures. 21:00
You always amaze me with your blogs even the aerial videos which is why you are the first among those bloggers that i follows. Keep up the positive vibes KD, 💪
thank you, being Filipino and not exposed to province life make me happy every time you introduce new trees, fruits, etc. , learning from your vlog. Also, the scenery its really majestic.
Beautiful sceneries. 💚💙 Honestly didn't know much about Abaca and didn't even know that we're the largest supplier of Abaca worldwide. Thanks for this informative vlog. It seems though that it's the middlemen who are profiting the most from it and not the locals who are harvesting/producing it. 🙁
KD I live in the Seychelles, man the way you portray and show the beauty of the Philippines province is really something special for me, as a foreigner this country has some stunning beauty, prestige and unspoiled environment where human pollution has not done its destruction.
Kuya, who was showing the abaca and the community, is so humble and soft spoken. His eagerness on explaining information about abaca is really sweet. Thank you to both of you 🤗
I've heard of it raining cats and dogs but never heard of falling carabao before. lol I'm not so sure how happy that spider was, but I don't think you should stick around to find out. Maybe one day you can make it to Hawaii and see Happy Face spiders. They're really quite small and are found in very remote areas on O'ahu that I know of. I don't remember where else in the islands they live, but I'm certain they are on some of the other islands as well.
Thank you for taking us to Catanduanes KD! This is such a beautiful island province. One of my favorite travel vlogs from you. Your drone shots are incredible!
My hometown. Definitely my favorite place in the world. The balance of beautiful beaches and mountains being together in one place. Good food and happy people. The perfect place to chill and relax. Thank you for featuring Catanduanes kumander. 🍻 - Catandunganon living Davao City
Wow! Such a beautiful place. It always reminds me when the Fighter Boys were there; and when Kulas helped the people after a devastating typhoon destroyed the houses especially in Puraran beach area.
Abaca is the hardest fiber in the world. It is used in making Manila rope and paper money. Catanduanes is also used as the fastest way if you want to go to Caramoan instead of driving all the way from Naga.
Thanks for another awesome vlog KD! ❤Your drone shots are so beautiful. I enjoy watching your travels going to remote areas and showcasing these majestic places. Well done sir!
Hey! I think I know that guy at the end of the video. Pretty sure I may have unknownly helped him export some secret ingredients from the other side of the pond to the Philippines. 😂
So many of provinces of the Philippines are so beautiful, I hope they remain unspoilt for a long time to come. I may end up in the P.I. myself before too long with my wife. Maybe see you there K.D.
As always, KD: stunning photos and drone shots!!’ You excel in all your vlogs and your style of narration commands listening to, I do and enjoy it..,be safe always ❤❤❤ 🎉🎉🎉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤟
The government should do something for this abaca , they must provide machines for easy and fast manufacturing abaca and could produce more products for exports. Then help the abaca farmers for their benefits and so, they will enjoy and inspire working in abaca farm.

The government should do something for this abaca , they must provide machines for easy and fast manufacturing abaca and could produce more products for exports. Then help the abaca farmers for their benefits and so, they will enjoy and inspire working in abaca farm.
Machines do exist but the quality of fiber is different. There are separate prices (and uses) for hand stripped and decorcitated
Yes traditional @@KumanderDaot
My partners parents do Abaca on their farm. Maybbe you should do a video on them.
Hard work on pulling abaca kumander daot.😅

What camera do you use mate...The filming is amazing and so clear...
Mostly a Sony A7Sii but sometimes using DJI Action 2 & 3... then the drone is DJI Air 2S... love the sensor on them!
Very cool
Dito SA southern Leyte maraming abaka.. Yan Yung hanap Buhay ng iBang tao sa bundok

Paradise
Good morning kumander...
Good morning!
Nice place 😃
"KATAW" is reversed word for "WATAK" - which means something that is Scattered or Separated. But yes it is Mermaid!
Do you calculate the Abaca harvest on an Abacus?
Kumander pangutana daw nila kong naa bay bunga ang abaka?
Madayaw na pag abot SA banwa Ng pandan n caramoran I'm from dvonor
Wow❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤
Kumander Daot - "Kataw" sa akoa nahibaloan kay "mermaid" na ang meaning niya.
"Kataw" in ilonggo means mermaid
KATAW means "Mermaid"
Highway to hemp
Kataw is mermaid
KD, The Fibers goes to China and turns to a rope and sold in the US or UK labeled MADE IN CHINA! 😞
I believe 65% of abaca still goes to the UK directly...
Comander D. katao means Mermaid .😅
