- In season 2 of HBO's The Wire, Avon Barksdale is in prison and the Barksdale organisation is being run by Stringer Bell. When Stringer wants to work with Proposition Joe behind Avon's back, Avon sends in Brother Mouzone to take care of the Eastside gangsters, but Stringer sets up Mouzone by having Omar Little come after him.
Later, Stringer visits Mouzone in hospital, and when he tells Avon that Mozuone is not saying who tried to kill him, Avon gets angry at Stringer. Why did Avon get angry at Stringer in the jail scene? Let's discuss.

*Why Did The Greek Choose Marlo Over Proposition Joe? The Wire Explained:*

Marlo was easier to control and predict.
You made a spelling mistake in the title.
Hey you gotta be mindful when you say dominican you said it in two different ways which means two different countries 🇩🇴 🇩🇲 . It's the way you say the name that differs from the two
Dough min eh can, not Dominique-can.
Stringer had the smartest guy in the room complex. But he was often exposed for being short-sighted and narrow-minded throughout the series. That was his biggest downfall.
He was the smartest within his crew, outside of it everyone wrapped circles around him.
@@e5141981 He wasn't smarter than Avon.

@@KtotheG nah he was definitely smarter than Avon OVERALL, but the gaps in his knowledge that Avon didn’t have(street shit) were just deadlier

I feel like the moment Stringer asked him “Who did this to you” Mouzone knew he had something to do with it.
Exactly
Yep

@@roderickstockdale1678 it’s when a person named Mouzone does something automatically 😂
@@roderickstockdale1678 fuckin typo
Stringer made a common mistake that "jack fakers" and snakes tend to make and that is pretend to be concerned about an associate's welfare in order to throw him off suspicion that you're really a jack faker and a snake. As a professional, Brother Mouzone was able to sniff him out immediately, which is why he set him up with the "I'll take care of THEM myself" remark. He knew that Stringer was faking concern and so he wanted to see if he would confirm it. Stringer's lack of street wisdom was exposed several times throughout the course of the series.
Could you elaborate exactly what a "jack faker" is?
Fam you damn right I agree with you all the way
Cold facts so much ish he should’ve seen coming but always got caught sleepin
yeah exactly, Stringer always longed to leave the street behind, whereas to Avon and, to some extent, Marlo the street was home and where they plied their trade; Stringers lack of street smarts and reluctance to learn the lessons the corner would force upon a player would eventually be his doom.
@@Delightfully_Bitchy Lying, basically. Telling stories, especially when trying to pretend to be something you're clearly not. "Frontin'." "Perpetratin'." Stringer: “we’re going to get the guys who did this”
Brother Mouzone: (adds stringer to kill list)
Brother Mousone moved a certain type of way, just like Omar. The only way to find cats like Omar and the Brother is to contact a third party that knows how to contact them. The Brother never asked Omar in the hotel scene how he located him is proof positive that the Brother knew he had been set up by someone he knew in Baltimore, and only 2 people knew him directly...Stringer and Avon. Stringer showing up at the bedside appearing overly concerned and sneakily fishing was the icing on the cake for Brother. The hospital room scene is genius in the way the director used body mechanics demonstrated by Stringer to indicate deceit and Brother Mousone's body language and speech tone/delivery to relay to Stringer, "You stupid mother fucker". This show has got to be one of the best if not the best film works ever.
ok lady
You're definitely over analyzing this. He knew he was set up from Omar saying he did a crime he didn't when he wasn't even in town. It had nothing to do with Omar finding him.
Hearing the British, I think, accent quoting Avon's "they saw your ghetto ass coming from miles away" made me literally laugh out loud. Great breakdown
London asian accent id call it
South African I believe
These damn British channels always have the best breakdowns on American series.
I almost died when I heard that😂
Loved this scene; Avon was the best kingpin on the show. The game was ingrained in him early.
Pure FACTS✅
Y’all act like that’s a good thing.
It made no sense for Stringer to ask Brother who shot him. Avon called on Brother to be muscle so obviously they didn’t have any in house. If they can’t secure their own towers how are they possibly going to help Brother do something that they already hired him to do previously? That was a dead giveaway to Brother, who was already suspicious after his encounter with Omar.
😂 exactly.
Greatest show ever made, which is why it's still being analyzed nearly 20 years later.
Lol.
DISCO-INFERNO-70: It's so difficult trying to get people to give it a chance because it's an old series and people assume they already know what it's about with giving it a try. The Wire is the best series ever, and I actually feel a little bad for the people who chose not to give it a chance, lol.
I rewatch the entire series every few years. No other series has come close for me (except maybe GoT - minus the last season and a half).
@Women should cook And clean unprompted After season 4, GoT starts going down but I don't think it's "bad" yet.
So this show has been out for 20 years wooow that's awesome

Brother knew that String was too smart and connected not to know or have information about who shot him.String pretending to not know anything about the hit was a clear indication.
Don't forget the Clay Davis fiasco. Thee Clay Davis. Downtown Clay Davis.
My Favorite 😂 and The Referee Scene along with the Robbery Scene Omar 😉's Then Said No Doubt!💪🏾
Shitttttttttttttttttttttt
I can’t believe that people think Marlo was better than Avon in anyway or even would’ve beat Avon in the war. Avon was about to blow him and his crew off the face of west Baltimore literally‼️
Avon should’ve died at that phone booth outside of Orlando’s
Marlo had hitters to overcompensate for his lack of strategy compared to Avon. Barksdale used to have heavy hitters too back before the cops really started going after them specifically. Haven’t watched the show in a while but Bird and Weebay come to mind. I know there was also some big cock diesel looking dude who was supposed to be a tough enforcer too.
I do believe the war would have been over and Avon would have came out with the victory!!!
Stringer bell messed that up and here we are🤦🏽
Facts thts what ppl fail to realize Avon was fina make sure Marlo was gone personally and his crew is it wasn't for stringer snitch ass
That war could have gone either way. Avon had more muscle on the street. But Marlo had the more deadlier killers. Guys like Chris were more intelligent than Weebay as well. Avon had killers but they were mostly pawns who didn't do much thinking. On a chessboard Chris was more like a rook/bishop than a pawn. Avon was a better all around boss, but Marlo specialized in the murder game specifically. Plus he was young n hungry lion with nothing to lose. Chris would have been able to track down Avon, much easier than it would have been for one of Avons soldiers to track down Marlo.
I appreciate what you do tremendously. You’re bringing life and new perspectives to shows I love.

In a REAL Way!
Well Done!
I was always confused during this part of the story and now finally i get it. Damn i ain't got the street smarts
This is not your information coming from your experience in the street. You literally paraphrased the entire video from "a man's world"
“West side as as a glorified crew” that’s out of line 😂😂😂
The most accurate description of street level drug rings there is. They only pretend they’re any sort of organized crime syndicates. Far too much back stabbing, snitching, jealousy and silly mistakes to ever make it out of the “hood” or to play in the big leagues.
SLIM CHARLES & AVON GELLED LIKE THEY KNEW EACH OTHER THEIR WHOLE LIVES IN SEASON THREE BECAUSE THEY BOTH KNOW & OVERSTAND THE RULES OF THE GAME , SLIM WAS BECOMING A BETTER #2 THAN STRINGER 💯🤞🏿

All of your videos breaking down what was said, not said, done, and not done just shows how the writers of the Wire were phenomenal. Thanks for your videos! They're very well done and offer a great deal of insight into the show.
He made himself look guilty being overly concerned about what happened to Mouzone and whether or not he knew who shot him. Mouzone knew nobody in stringer/avon position would care what happened to him as long as their deal was tended too.
Stringer was too clever by half on several occasions, and he also rationalized his cowardice as superior wisdom. Avon saw through all of it, though he never suspected Stringer would go as far as to rat him and his crew out.
Just watched this entire show in about two months. Cant believe this show didnt win more awards while airing. So many good scenes and character moments. So much forshadowing. Watching the show i always thought Stringer was a genius. But going back, his lack of street smart really killed him in the end

I'm in the same boat as you.. I thought Stringer was a highly intelligent man who was tryna take the game to the next level. Didn't catch on to how dumb he was until I watched the series a second/third time. Definitely the definition of too smart for his own good
@@rdelacruz8949:-Stringer was smart, just book smart, Avon was street smart, its why together they rocked S1. As soon as a saw this on my feed I said “this is gonna be good”. You did not disappoint. At the first watching, I was confused when Avon asked Stringer why he asked Mouzone how he was doing. Later on, I started to piece it together but this just brings fresh insight into an already spectacular show. Keep up the good work.
"A pygmy thing over in Baltimore!"
I love this channel so much for bits like this
When someone you know doesn’t care about anyone asks you how you’re doing or is concerned for you, watch out!!!
If you could get back at Mouzone's attacker you wouldn't need him in the first place.
True
Prop Joe with British accent turns into Proper Joe. And sounds beyond weird :)
I think you really hit the nail on the head in your deconstruction here. Nicely done!
Avon was mad because Stringer was "trifling with Barksdale's reputation right here." Shout out to Slim Charles. His mistakes caused his empire to falter and lose ground.
Exactly! Why would he go to a hired enforcer and offer help saying “we got your back” like that? The sole reason why Brother Mouzone came all the way from New York in the first was to have their back in all reality!
You know the hospital scene here with Brother, kinda of mirrors a scene from The sopranos season 1. When Uncle Jr. and Livia visit Tony after there botched assassination attempt on Tony. And uncle June Scott says he’s got Mikey and his crew cracking heads to locate whoever did it. However, Tony and crew had an inkling it’s could be Mr magoo, same as brother’s intuition on stringer. Bottom line both perpetuators Showed their hand to To the ones they try to have killed… Gotta love that HBO writing
Funniest is when Avon has to remind Stringer that 'this ain't about your marketing class either'. Like he's his little annoying brother or something.
My question is how Evon didn't know that Stringer made a deal with Joe to use 3 of the towers in exchange for the product. Even being in jail he could've heard about it. It's strange that he wasn't aware of it.
I wondered this as well.
That information was contained. Only a few knew about him working with Joe. If they were suspicious, they knew to mind their business. How did that elude you. It's obvious. That was an extremely stupid question you asked.
"Why!!?"😳 perfect timing😂😂😂
When he said Avon was absolved...
While staring stringer in the face...
Instead of saying You Guys are absolved...
It was a wrap
String-a-Bell remains me of my uncle. Real estate agent cons him into buy large farm in the middle of no place. 2 hour drive from the city in a small town where he is now the stranger. My uncle reasoning is , I have a big house, do you have a big house ?
Damn, sounds like my brother.
Uncles do be like dat sometime do'....My Unk was all mad n shit 1 time. I was like, why is you all mad n shit?....All he said was "sometimes it be like dat". Know wat I'm sayin
The first time I watched season 3 I thought Stringer had the right idea and Avon couldn’t adapt, “just a gangster I s’pose.” But in hindsight Stringer was a terrible businessman out of his depth. He immediately lashed out with indiscriminate aggression and violence the moment his business moves didn’t work. He was aggressive toward Clay Davis and later tried to have him hit like he was just a corner dealer coming up short, unable to think through the game that was being played on him. But he also wasn’t tough enough and lacked respect for the rules to earn respect on the street. Stringer was never able to fully grasp either game, he was clever enough and charismatic enough to last awhile, but he inevitably overplayed his hand.
Yo this is the wildest most accurate breakdown I've ever seen!
It is HILARIOUS to hear this explained in this crazy accent, 20 years later 😂
I hope people who worked on the sopranos and the wire see and appreciate your channel
That barbershop scene was rather great acting
Despite Avon's suspicions, I think Stringer was cut out for the game. He just wasn't a King piece, he was more suited to carrying out Avon's orders than giving them himself. Wee-Bey would've done worse in Stringer's situation, but nobody would think to either question Bey's cred or put him in charge of the Barksdale Crew (even if he hadn't gone to jail). As Bunk said, "we all got roles to play."
He was good for accounting and finding ways to wash the money and that's where he should've remained while running the legit businesses
Beyond was straight muscle a battlefield commander not a decision maker.
Bey was straight muscle a battlefield commander not a decision maker.
"Gimme a couple more pit beef samiches and I'll go a few more" Free Bei!!!
Bout the realest character on the show 💪🏿
Avon was on to Stringer from the gate! He knew the “ away games” was a signal of dissent. Avon’s love for Stringer is the ONLY reason he didn’t take him out a long time ago. I guess he was figuring no harm no foul as with his nephew. Avon’s hesitancy on not taking out Stringer earlier eventually came back to bite him. The Brother situation put Avons back against the wall as it was at this point he knew String was making moves without consulting him first, which is disrespectful to the King. Making such a move also showed Avon String was capable of anything, as we found out.
I want to congratulate you on another great video. Dissecting a minute yet profound moment that we don't pause to think of.
7:30 "Stringer replies by starting a lector about market-based businesses".
He's a funny guy that CineRanter
The scene where Stringer tells Avon about D'Angelo sums Stringer up beautifully. He says something like:
"I see a Man without a country. Don't got the heart for this game right here but maybe, just MAAYBE, not smart enough for them out there".
Ahhhh yea one of my favorite scenes, thumbs up to the uploader. I say “why”like Avon to this day lmao
The way u said Dominican was crazyyyy lmao
That business course Stringer went on was the worst thing that happened to him
Avon got mad becuse he knew it was inside job , did not want find out.
No, fam. It was just the disrespect of asking a man like Brother something like that. It assumes he's weak and needs them cause he can't handle his own business.
You don't approach a man who's got more bodies than a Chinese cemetery, Prop Joe quote, if he's alright and you got his back. It's insulting to say the least. And wtf was Stringer doing at the hospital because Mouzone was hired by Avon. And clearly, Avon didn't send Stringer to the hospital. Stringer was there being the snake that he was and signed his own death warrant in that scene
Avon was mad because it made him look shiesty & untrustworthy. Muzone is top level muscle. Someone whose rep is so solid his word alone could destroy a well respected king pin's rep. You don't hire someone to protect you & then offer your protection if something happens to them. That's an insult. Why hire them in the first place?
@@CREOLEHEAT Your right
He did not know fam, didn’t you pay attention to the video? 😂
You guys are forgetting one thing and it’s the biggest thing. Stringer might have been smart but he had no sense character. Which was his ultimate downfall,he wasn’t loyal to those around him to stay in his lane. He didn’t have the loyalty to himself and the patience to do things the right way and get out the game on good terms with those around him. His lack of character made him lose sight of his reality and lose support of those important to him like Avon. Who in the end decided his fate. If stringer had an ounce of character he would have never manipulated, lied and cheated those around him. Which would have allowed him to survive. If he had an ounce of character he would have stayed humble enough to understand he doesn’t know anything. His dreams and ambitions will take time for it to be done the right way. Things acquired and built fast don’t last that long.
Yes. Stringer also forgot he could not have had his high street status if it was not for his relationship with Avon who was the true king 👑 pen. Stringer also forgot or didn’t seem to realize that in the business world 🌎 relationships and reputation are important too. If business partners know that you are a retired drug dealer they are not going to respect you or your dirty money 💰. Stringer didn’t seem to understand that. Your reputation follows you regardless of who you do business with. Stringer also thought that he was smarter than the streets but he couldn’t see that he was being hustled with his straight business deals. Stringer was over his head. He was evil with no loyalty to anyone. He was a Marlo sort of character except Marlo was ruthless enough to do his own dirty work.
I love your seamless use of Sopranos terms in Wire videos
The 'glorified crew' & 'pigmy' comments just killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great video! 👍🏾 I was always under the impression that the meeting between Avon and Muzone was a planned meeting. I recall the barber saying something like, " yall say what you feel." the same way Prop Joe did when he arranged a meeting between Stringer and Omar but I could be wrong.
If that meeting really was planned then why did Avon look so shook at the first sight of Mouzone? Buddy pretty much returned to Baltimore without prior notice
@Diante Wimes Well, for one thing.. Avon is always super cautious. He was the only customer in the barbershop because he would never sit in a barbershop with random customers, allowing anyone to just walk up on him. If the meeting wasn't planned, I don't think Muzone would have been allowed to enter the barbershop with Avon sitting there with a towel over his face making him vulnerable to an attack. Again, I could be wrong but that's my observation.
@@tee-starr1566 Your on point, Avon wasn’t shook in a scared way he was more shook in a surprised way. He more than likely knew Brother was coming but wasn’t expecting to take the towel off his face and see him standing there, it was more like a “when did you get here?” look instead of a scared one.
Exactly! Lol talk about not being able to read body language.@@TreWimsical
you re-framed the Avon/Stringer relationship for me. I always thought Avon wasn't growing into his role, and stringer was Trying and failing because he was being deceitful. but really Stringer was trying to change the "game" like a cog in the machine trying to turn against the machine and getting destroyed. I guess Stringers Charisma won me over.
now I must start a re-watch and look again at the characters.
It's so easy to want to like stringer. For me I was projecting what I would have done onto him thinking he was playing 5D chess until I realized "nope he's just dumb" (not that I'm smart mind you but you don't necessarily win at the game by being smart, look at Marlo XD)
@@HxH2011DRA he was playing Checkers in a Chess Game Honestly
Yeah took me years to understand what's going on in the wire
When I was younger, I simply thought that Stringer was the man, but the hood was just too ghetto to see the genius. Now, from an older lens, I see so many flaws in stringers thinking. The acting and the writing are just so good in this show.
@@Trinbagodreamer hard agree, so many layers, each contradicting the previous. The characters you loved the first watch as strong, become weak, and the characters you hated because they were obstacles are the one who see things as they are. Bunk's dress down of Omar, when he was frustrated I think sum's it all up well.
This was a prime example of the "other thing" in the game that Avon warned Stringer he knew nothing about in Season 3.
“Domonique-an”😂😂😂
4:07. Yes!
Please do a video devoted to an entire analysis on this scene. Its one of the great scenes of the Wire because of the ambiguity of how Brother Mouzone figures out who sets him up.
This one scene has a major ripple effect on the entire series. This is the domino that leads to the destruction of the Barksdale organization.
Mouzone figuring it out this way is fine but Stringer's surprised face and asking "them?" is weak writing. Stringer would know or could at least reasonably assume Omar might use at least 1 partner, since he has done exactly that many times. I have to call this a case of inorganic plot advancement. They do the same thing when they have Brianna figure out they had D'Angelo whacked in prison.
@@The_10th_Mani agree
@@The_10th_ManYou couldn't be more wrong. This is exactly how high level law enforcement agents catch smart criminals slipping. It perfectly highlighted how much more intelligent Mouzone was than Stringer. This scene didn't exactly give Stringer away 100% but it made him a huge suspect. Which is why Mouzone still had to run down on Omar to get conformation later on in another episode

That’s my only gripe with the writing. It didn’t feel like Avon and String came up together. Avon had to check him too many times at such late ages. It felt more like String was hired and brought in after Avon was King, then they became close friends. I know it was done on purpose cuz they wanted to show off Avon’s street knowledge and String was the person he talked to most but they didn’t feel like day ones.
I doubt if Stringer even came from the hood at all. How could he not know about the " Never On Sunday" rule? C-mon man!
I think the thing is that Stringer changed as he got older, may it be better or worse he got more business minded and abandoned street ideology. This is what many accuse Jay Z of, started from the streets then turned into a backstabbing business man snake.
@@coolpeople4287 He did know about the rule;he didn’t care.
Stringer was one of those dudes who’s from the hood but wasn’t really hands on with many of the street dealings. Like that dude that nice in ball or super smart in the hood, people tend to tell them “nah you not doing this, you gone make it out of here” Stringer looks like he was one of those dudes but came and proposed the legal side of things to Avon and that’s what got him his told one the organization. LOGISTICS, just oversee the business and make sure the money is right and the legal money doing what it’s suppose to do
@@jamesw7072 lol turned into a “backstabbing business man” if the wire taught me anything is that the “street ideology” is full of back stabbers and people who will do anything to gain power. No honor among thieves
Wow. What brilliant analysis. So on point.
My thought on Stringer is a pretentious backstabber who has good ideas but poor execution betraying Brother Mozuoune and visiting him is another nail in his coffin.
"I dont care how he gon' be, man...." 😂😂😂
love the driving analogy really helps simplify the scene
I am absolutely loving these breakdowns. They're so deep and intelligent. The Wire was brilliant.
He tried to be a soulless corporation when the streets got code, honor [depends who you ask], and rules
Stringer didn't quite understand street etiquette. And that was his biggest problem. He wanted to run the Barksdale organization like a Fortune 500 company. Some real world business strategies does work for a criminal organization/gangster. But at the very essence, this is a gangster org. and certain things will always be connected to the street and their gangster code.
Stringer wasn't supposed to let brother leave that hospital alive.
The only scene more satisfying than the scene where Stringer Bell gets it is when Slim Charles lays that back stabbing clown Cheese down on the dirty Baltimore ground doing the Harlem Shake.
Great now I have to watch this again.
Hahaha! Yup….and I love it.
"Them" is singular and plural based on vocal inflection. Mouzone said "them" open form fishing hook bait. Stringer said "them" plural form.
One of my gripes about this otherwise phenomenal show was the fact that Stringer was the number 2 guy in the organization. In real life, he would've spun off to make legitimate money for funneling back to the organization. He would've NEVER been running the day to day business, idgaf how smart he was. As soon as Avon and Wee Bey went down, Slim Charles would've been running things on the street while Avon stayed in charge from prison. On an unrelated note, it's also highly unrealistic that Marlo survived beyond season 4 but that's another conversation.
Season 4 was when Avon was in jail and Stringer was dead which left Marlo free to take over the west side and Bodie left alone to be a free agent until Marlo forced him to join up. Otherwise why else would Slim have been with Joe?
@@roderickstockdale1678 I know that. I'm saying in real life it wouldn't have happened like that. Don't get me started on how stupid it was that all the other dealers had zero muscle and let Marlo take over everything with like five soldiers and then kick them out of a co-op they invited him to when they didn't even need to do that. IRL, Marlo dies right after he attacks Avon.
@@seanyoung9014 also it seemed like Marlo was the only “kingpin” on west side and everybody else was from east side and everybody on west side simply served or bowed to him.
@@roderickstockdale1678 Yeah that also made no sense but I understand why they did it that way. My uncle was a detective for many years in PG County, Maryland and knew lots of the guys who did consulting on The Wire. He told me a few years ago that they had originally planned for more dealers after Avon went down but thought it would be confusing for audiences not used to that world.
@@seanyoung9014 yeah I’m out Montgomery county and I know a few of them are originally from the DC area such as Tray Chaney and Anwan Glover, former dealer from DC. Tray Chaney’s originally from PG.
Stringer Bell was a classic case of just because you hang in the streets doesn't mean you know the streets
Great analysis! I didn’t get it the first few times that I watched it so when I got my mom to watch, she had to explain this scene to me 😉
Avon knows the game is the game and a man like brother knows that too, if he wants help he would ask for it
👏 good break down. The wire is one of my top all time shows aside the sopranos breaking bad and showtimes the corner.
You should make a video on Orlando being stupid for trying to get D to go in a deal behind Avon's back
In the end, Stringer and Avon had different goals and that was inevitably going to fuck everything up. When Stringer was content playing #2, he did it extremely well. It was when he got a taste of true leadership that he went off the reservation thinking he could change the game. Meanwhile, if Avon hadn't cared about maintaining his crown and would have been content being filthy rich, and acting as the bank, they could have made that happen. Had Avon agreed to the arrangement with Joe from the jump, they could have just sat back and slowly but surely insulated themselves more and more from the streets. But as Avon said, he's "just a gangsta, I suppose." One had a vision too grand to realize. That kind of control doesn't exist, even to a street king, a role Stringer was trying to get away from. The other's vision was so narrow he couldn't see anything but how the game has always been. Meanwhile, Marlo has no respect for the game, business or tradition and wipes out everyone because they were getting too comfortable straddling the streets and the 'legitimate' worlds.
Excellent video, straight to the point doing the recap and a wonderful exposition.
Thought you were gonna post more THE WIRE stuff 😔 🥺😮
Loved the sopranos reference. You're one of my favorite channels
before the video even starts. i watched the scene again since i’m rewatching the show like yesterday and noticed stringer should’ve never asked that
Tremendous difference between booksmart and streetsmart
I LOVED Stringer in this series. I do think though that his skills sets didn't match his job in the Avon crew. This is a great example of quality writing a character as it was hard for me to root for Stringer to 'win' even though I liked him so much. Good stuff!
I’m ngl it cracks me up to hear people who never step foot in the hood talk about it like that know about the game when everything they know comes from research or movies it’s most definitely not from experience
That's ignorant.
Do you need to be world class basketball player to explain what's happening on the basketball court.
Do you need to be a superhero to understand what's going on in The Avengers!?
Great breakdown of all the subtly and nuance of this episode. Easily some of the best scenes in one of my favorite shows. Could have made a whole series analysis out of these few lines of dialogue. 👍👏👏
Stringer: I want to be the boss and I want you to see me bossing.
Avon: I'm the boss. My muscle will show you.
Being the front face ain't all that it's cracked up to be.
Very good analysis on this scene.

This guy is better than any soprano theories or wire analysis videos anywhere.
I wish he was picked for the talking sopranos guest episode instead of that animal I can’t even say his name… no scraps in my scrapbook
Thank you!
