remote control opensource suggest for windows user
I did this command and let a space by mistake between ~/ and .docker , rm -rf ~/ .docker , all my home directories were deleted. Is that the real cause ?
Is your question "Would the space before .docker result in the entire $HOME directory tree being deleted?" yes,for those files whose permissions would allow deletion by the invoking account/shell. That's one reason why I use the find command first, show me what the -r will result in being affected. Sometimes I find it pays to be a bit paranoid, especially with /bin/rm and/or -r flags.
@@stevenhespelt7951 yeah that's right better use find before rm , I was very tired I didn't notice how I typed that command without checking, anyway we all make mistakes and lean from them. Thank you so much for responding
I really dislike the sysd log system. I prefer txt logs
