The feather was in the very first game but in you couldn't swim you died if touch water. The feather they talking with is in Egypt Origin's but the feather bit is after the game when the Hidden One's are set up. All there is a book I would love to get that has older assassin in it before the set of the brotherhood.

Correct me if i’m wrong, but aren’t the feathers already a thing at the beginning of Origins? I believe Bayek used the feather of Maät to weigh the hearts of his targets on the scale of Anubis as part of a ritual to enter the afterlife. If your heart would be too heavy you would go to the Duat and if you are a good person with a light heart you will go to the field of reeds instead.

What Basim is (or more accurately what he becomes) was revealed in the end of Valhalla, this game is a prequel of sorts to Valhalla
This game looks beautiful and very appealing that it spark me to go back playing AC OG games as it seems fun to head back to their roots of gaming 😄 Also i have a feeling that the music, story and gameplay is going to bring some chills on what sort of atmosphere being during the location. With that said, here is some of my theories about the story:
•I feel like the story might you discover the story of Basmin and discover on his origin story that take place before Valhalla. As that creature at he encounter being the symbolic figure of “Death” So it might have died at some point and facing moments of Death coming his way. I might be wrong to jump that assumption but I am giving my theory on what is happening.
•Or that creature might be a family member that haunt his journey of being a traitor for the cause of Assassins.
So I can tell you for Bethany, there is a VR game for your entertainment being “AC Nexus” where you play as Ezio, Connor, and Kassandra as the game might be coming out this year or next. As it’s the the first AC VR game that would be loads of fun to play. 😄

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is going old school, like going back to the bureau (Assassination contracts finally return) and even using a feather to dip it to the blood of the dead target reminds me of the first Assassin’s Creed game. The nostalgia feeling of it 🤩. Plus, what I love on the gameplay walkthrough was the new features like sabotaging objects to stun enemies and even chain assassinations. Throwing knives, parry, instant kills, and smoke bombs finally return in the game 🥰. What’s amazing was the pre-order of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will happen on my birthmonth which is October. I want to see more of Basim in this game, since knowing him in Valhalla. Love your reactions guys!!! 🥰💗
sabotaging was in oddeysey,also parry...also instant kills if you speced in assasins damage,well not with some of the really high end bosses but for most npcs

Basim’s origin was explained in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It could be a spoiler and I’m not sure if you’re gonna play Mirage so I won’t say just yet.
it wouldnt be the first time they do this,black flag/rogue/ac 3/unity are all connected and concentrated around very close generations,this game will be interesting to see,i think its when the assasins are fairly strong,a few hundret years before altair

I first heard the word Alamut from the broken sword series
What that phantom is.. is complicated; but he is called 'Djiin'. He is rattling around inside Basim's head for DEEP lore reasons. I hope you guys enjoy slowly revealing the meta narrative throughout each game, because it gets pretty WILD. All you need to know is that the AC world is not our own, though it looks like ours. It uses our real-life history as a basis of its alternate history, sci-fi premise. There is NO MAGIC, only 'Those Who Came Before', and their influences. Fans debate what is going on all the time, the good choices, and the bad, and its all very interesting. So I hope you enjoy unraveling the mysteries of why things are happening. i dont know if you 2 ever played any ac games but,something you have to keep in mind with this series is that it had 2 major shifts in design phylosphy over the years,the original assasins creed style of game never really managed to reach its true potential,the original games were very janky and limited by the tech of the time,unity was the last true ac game and that had major bugs and issues,and then when the tools to make the games truly shine they shifted to an open world witcher 3 style rpg format,ac origin/oddysey/valhalla,great games in their own right but no longer the same assasins creed style of games,they ever pulled a fast one on us with the recent one valhalla,with trailers and gameplay making it out to look like an old ac game when it was again an rpg with no real assasins creed themes explored,this one looks like its actualy like the originals but with the modern tech,hopefuly its good,i loved the black flag style and the rpg style,but its high time we got an old school assasins creed game again

Thank you for the reactions, guys! Sooo, just some things I like to point out...The dark, scary creature seen in the trailer here is called Jinn. It's basically a religious(because this is an Arab/Middle East setting) depiction of a demon/the devil. The developers said that for every major assassination that is completed, you will have to encounter the Jinn to conquer the feeling fear.
Jinn, that makes sense. Semi familiar with them from fantasy games but not their origin outside of that. Thanks for sharing the info 😀
you should watch altair stealth, he makes a video on each of the games titled "What 1000 hours of (insert AC title here) looks like" to get a better understanding of the dynamics of the games
