Hi. Thank you, this is really helpful. I need your help though. I'm currently designing a website for a client with elementor. After designing and making updates on a page, I try viewing it on my mobile phone but it keeps showing the older version of the page and not the updated one. It's really frustrating, I'd really appreciate if you help me out.
Hey thanks! This sounds like caching. Sometimes the caching with Elementor could be stubborn to clear. You’re most likely viewing the cached version on your phone. Try viewing the changes on Chrome or Firefox in Incognito mode. Also, if you are using a caching plugin, clear the cache and and see if the updates show in your phone.
@@LytboxStudio Thanks. Again very helpful. Another problem i have with a different website is elementor doesn't load on some pages, I just get the static elementor logo but the page doesn't load. I'm not a developer, I'm only a designer so I don't know what's happening. I've been on this for months; since last year October. That's how bad it is! I know you can help me out on this one too since you're a developer. I think it's a problem associated with some css codes I used to change looks on the site, I'm still not sure. Client's on my neck. Please help?
This is usually due to either a plug-in/theme conflict or the memory needs to be increased on your server. Start by deactivating all your plugins except for Elementor and Elementor Pro and then try to edit. If the edit works that means it is one of the plugins. Just turn on the plug-in 1 at a time until you find the culprit. This usually happens to me with security plugins. If not a plug-in, check the theme. Temporarily activate the Hello Theme and try to edit to see if the theme you’re using is the cause. If it is not the theme or plugins, it’s most likely a server and hosting issue. And your members limit probably needs to be increased. Who are you hosting your site with?
I'm at a point where I need to rebuild my entire website from scratch in Elementor (all 517 content pages/posts with all the trimmings). I want to first make a design plan and style guide for myself. I see you're defining your typography for desktop, tablet and phone and I know where to set the global colors and typography in Elementor, but how do you use the style guide for tablet and smartphone? Asaik you get only one set in the global section in Elementor? Or do you, after you've made the desktop version, change the typography for tablet and then for smartphone? You can understand my concerns, having to rebuild so many pages/posts ;-) Also, I'm struggling a bit with the clickable links on my website. Is there a 'rule' on how to determine which colors you best make those, without it annoying the reader?
You can set up your font styles for desktop, tablet, and mobile in the Global Fonts. I just made another video on creating design systems with Elementor, it might help - ua-cam.com/video/q1vO8UwKE9k/v-deo.html For clickable links, I would just make them easy to identify and keep them consistent. I think they only become annoying when they look spammy and are too flashy.
@@LytboxStudio Thanks for replying so quickly :-) I never realized I could set the Global fonts and colors for tablet and smartphone by clicking the responsive icon on the bottom there as well. I'm very new to Elementor so I'm soaking up all the info I can get at this point (which is why I had already seen the Design Systems with Elementor video ;-)
@@NeoOnyx that’s great and it’s a fun journey learning El. I’ve been using it over 3 years now and still learning. There’s just so many possibilities of what can be done.
What is your favorite web font?

Is this happening when you try to edit with Elementor?
@@LytboxStudio Yes it is.
