The Weeylite S05 is an alternative to the RGB pocket lights that exist out there, but it is cheaper, and has a lot more to it than meets the eye. With the ability to do bi color light, RGB, and 25+ effects, this light packs a punch in a small, lightweight body. Thank you 😅, I been watching like for half an hours video about these lights but most of the videos seems of a marketing than an actual review. I can see real usage for them here. For around $23 today, I can use couple of those and play with them. They still offer good value for the money

Hi Cody, great video on the pros and cons of the Weeylite S05. Looks like it would be a good lighting option for videoing for those that are starting out and need to save money. But like the old saying goes the cheap products sometimes turn out costing you more in the end.
Absolutely. Sometimes its all you can afford, so I would recommend this as a great option. And if you’re able to swing something like the Aputure MC, definitely a better investment!

Would be curious to know how it’s held up 3 months in Cody. On the brink of getting a couple of these, vs the aputure MC and considering Weeylite RB9 as a stronger light
The S05 has held up well. They travel with me in my backpack, and even though I don’t use them on a lot of jobs, they have come in handy. The build quality has held up pretty well. I’d think the RB9 would be even tougher. I just wrapped on a feature and the MCs did come in handy for sure. Those being on the Sidus link with all of our other Aputure lights was really convenient. Do you have any other Aputure fixtures right now?
@@CodyPyper I am coming from nothing besides Lifx bulbs. So deciding the first (and last) brand choice. Considering the RB9 for the extra brightness in fear of not having enough light. But the app seems better for the S05. And I could get 2 for the same price as one RB9 here in Australia.
