I found a puzzle a few years ago that no doubt would have become one of my favorites -a stained glass garden- but for whatever bizarre reason, instead of putting stained glass people in the garden, they ruined it by plastering these hideous NON-stained glass people all over it. Their faces were so creepy, almost melting 😣😭 WHY would anyone put creepy melters on a gorgeous stained glass background!?? I still think of that awful, awful day, all these years later 😭
Nice collection. I have a couple of the same puzzles but you have some brands I might try. I recently did my first wooden puzzles. Harder than I expected but they are nice. I think for the money I would prefer 1000 pc puzzles for more puzzle enjoyment. Thanks!
Wow, thanks for showing all your puzzles, Caro. I'm in Ottawa and bilingual, too. (I also often forget the word for "apron/tablier" but for me, in both languages!) We have a lot of overlap in brands but not too much in actual puzzles. I love collage-style the most and dark or fine arts not as much. But regardless, I love hearing about other people's puzzling tastes.
I loved most of your puzzles, I loved the Cobble Hill puzzles the most, they are the prettiest ones, I love your channel, I have definitely subscribed.
Thank you for the name! i now know where to find the names on Ravensburger. I also became aware that i seriously need bi-focals. lol. Can't wait to do that one!
Loved your puzzle collection!! Thanks for sharing. We have similar taste and I think you’d like Magnolia puzzles out of Turkey. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I have 2 rescue cats that I adore and I just purchased my 200th puzzle. I love doing them but I also love collecting them!!
Hi Carolyn! Welcome! Love new puzzle friends. I post a lot in FB puzzle groups, but have not created a UA-cam channel. I like long videos - this collection video was great!
Welcome! Very nice collection. You have some beautiful puzzles. such a nice variety of images. I've never heard of the brand Enjoy. I added several to my wish list. The fish image from Magnolia is so pretty. The Tamer is my favorite. Absolutely beautiful. I love any image with a Polar Bear. I can't come up with any reason as to the title The Buffalo. LOL Some of my puzzles are new, and some I've gotten from my thrift store. I also do adult coloring.
Thank you so much Laverne❤ I love thrifting puzzles too! Love the feeling of getting a good deal. Adult coloring is so relaxing. Of course most of my coloring books are of cats 😂
I have what you would call a large collection of puzzles I guess. I used to have over 300 puzzles but we recently moved so I sold just over 100. I’ve done all the brands you had there, but I am very picky about quality and images since I know exactly what I like after 10 years of puzzling. I would suggest some brands like, Brain Tree, Cloudberries, Jumbo (specifically illustrations by Jan Van Haasteren) their cartoon puzzles for Adults from the Netherlands, and Laurence King Publishing to name a few. Thanks for the video. ❤
yes I watched to the end. I have several you showed similar taste. I enjoy your channel. I have maybe 90. Puzzles at this time. And yes I will be a puzzle nerd with you.
Hi Caroline, glad to meet you. You made me laugh, thank you. I'm in the states, 75, and new to puzzles. I did my first puzzle 2 months ago. We rescue, so I understand you love of animals. You have a great collection. I look forward to your upcoming videos.
Hello Carolyn, I'm also bilingual and live in Montreal. I highly recommend Wasgij? puzzles. You have an image on the box which is not the image that is on the puzzle. I have done 2 so far. The first one was "imagine if the wheel had never been invented" so the picture on the box has lots of things with wheels (motorcycle, train, bicycle, cars) but the puzzle does not. It was lots of fun. The other one had a camping scene with a fisherman and you had to imagine what was going to happen. Both were very fun. Not something you would want to do a second time since a lot of the fun is trying to work out what the image would look like. They are expensive (about $40 on Amazon) but lots of people sell them or want to trade. Pieces are random cut, thick, and fit together really well.
Hmmm. I've heard of that brand and now I'm intrigued....my rule to maintain my puzzle collection is that I have to part with a puzzle to get another one so I have a lot on my to do list before I can get a new puzzle. Wasgij? May just be my next purchase. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great video, I love puzzle hauls and can appreciate the time it took to make a lengthy video, great close ups, and the effort to avoid the glare. We have some similar tastes (and some not, but that’s ok). I have always liked puzzles but have only been collecting them for a few months now. So far my favorite brands are White Mountain, Buffalo Games and Ravensburger. I have done the White Mountain Reader’s Paradise puzzle. It was a much harder image than I expected, but I still enjoyed it. I left it in large sections in the box to be glued one day. I’ve done 2 of their collages, and enjoyed both of those. With Buffalo Games, I am glad I bought 2 puzzles when I first tried them. The first one was a Josie Lewis called Chunky Rainbow. I’m sure it was just a fluke, but the quality was awful. About a dozen pieces were completely bent and peeling up, and I had an issue with misfits. I have since done 2 or 3 other puzzles by Buffalo Games, and loved them all. Superb quality. I love Ravensburger, too, though like everyone else, I wish they came with a poster and less puzzle dust. My favorite by far is called Midnight at the Library, it is a fantastic image, so much fun to do. I have also done the toy store puzzle that you showed, and enjoyed that one, too. Right now I’m working on the 2,000 piece Disney Stamp Album. It’s a lot because it’s my first ever 2,000 piece puzzle, but going better than I expected, considering my lack of experience. Keep up the videos!
Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm so glad you tuned in to watch! I hesitate between branching out and trying out new puzzle brands and sticking to my tried and true brands. 😂
Greetings from Fort Lauderdale, i was highly recommended by Ric on the Ricpuzzles channel. You have some exquisite puzzles! love the candles in the background btw. Thx for sharing.
I feel the same way about gradients. I like to escape into the story that is being told. Well said! 🙂 I love Bits and Pieces puzzles but, not the shaped puzzles. I only purchase the regular puzzles. Aimee Stewart is my favorite. I have many of her puzzles 🥰 I did Josephine Walls Untold Story, it was very enjoyable and not as hard as it looks like it might be. Beautiful image! On the Ravensburger puzzles the name is on the side of the box, usually in a few different languages. I love puzzling! My collection at this moment is 236. I like so far Ravensburger, Buffalo Games, New York Puzzle Company, Ceaco (loose fit for the most part but love their images), Master Pieces, White Mountain, SunsOut, Bits and Pieces, Springbok and Eeboo so far. I do have other brands to try. I am in the midst of an Antelope puzzle which is amazing and is called Whisper of Cactus. You have a very nice collection, thank you for sharing 🙂🙂🧩🧩🧩
Hi Marlene!!! Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I really love White Mountain too. Currently working on an Eeboo. I've put myself on a puzzle freeze which is hard since there are so many beautiful puzzles and brands to discover🎉
You are delightful! I loved all your whimsical stories, super entertaining ❤. I just discovered puzzletube. I rushed out and bought puzzles. I guess I’m influenceable. I also live in Montreal.
Had fun watching and seeing your collection. I have been puzzling for a couple of years and have about two hundred puzzles -all of them 1,000 pieces. Just made a spreadsheet to prevent buying duplicates. 😂 it appears that I have 15 different brands. I enjoy a variety of puzzles, but gradient or solid colors aren’t my thing. I am from Minnesota, so I understand the long winters.
thank you so much! That's an awesome sized little collection :) O have a little over 100 now but officially have no more room so my collection is complete. lol
Looks like we share at least two things in common, our names and puzzles, lol. Some of your puzzles are really pretty and cute! I always wanted to do a puzzle video too but could never find the time. I collect cheaper puzzles that are pretty scenery or fun colorful collages and the occasional different choice. When I puzzle I enjoy the picture on the box but aside from that my focus is really on interacting with the pieces. I love to stare at colorful pieces, pretty pieces, or analyze to recognize the shapes of pieces.
What a wonderful range of images and brands, you have a great collection. I would love to try an Elena Essex or Art & Fable puzzle but they're incredibly expensive in Australia. I enjoy a variety of puzzles from super busy images to the solid coloured krypts, I do not enjoy doing large sections of fur of any kind though or photographic images. There's 68 puzzles in my collection too! with 5 more on the way. I've tried Ravensburger, Grateful House, New York Puzzle Company, Gibsons, Exploding Kittens, Bits & Pieces, Pomegranate, Eeboo, Trefl, Jumbo, Cobble Hill, Cloudberries, Galison and Ensky. My favourite brand is Grateful House, highly recommend them. Their pieces are thick with a linen matte finish that have absolutely zero false fits, the print quality is amazing and every puzzle comes with a zip up canvas bag to store the pieces in. The box is also beautiful and sturdy
Greetings Caro, Thank you for your delightful first (hopefully first of many more) UA-cam videos about puzzles! You have a wonderful relaxed conversational style that's very enjoyable to watch and listen to! I too love jigsaw puzzles and probably have more than 100 (although I haven't counted them) with many the same as or similar to your puzzles. Happy puzzling, Jude (from Wisconsin, USA)
How am I just finding you?! We have opposite tastes in puzzles it seems. I’m all about gradient and abstract but you have me rethinking things with how you told your stories!! I’ve lost count on my puzzle collection, 200 or so. Way too many for the time I spend working on them!
Hello fellow puzzler! Thank you so much for your comment. I'm still puzzling, just not posting content. I discovered that having a channel is a lot of work. lol I might be back in the new year. Take good care xoxo
Thanks so much Caro, love your puzzles and your videos are pleasant to watch. Would you consider listing the puzzles you show by brand and name below so we can refer back to it if we want to get some for ourselves? Thanks again.
That's a very nice collection you have there. I have noticed at least 5 puzzles we have in common. Since you asked for recommendations on new brands to try, I thought I would suggest a few Canadian ones for you to consider: 1. Paperblanks. A really high quality brand that is a notch above the rest. Highly recommended. 2. StandOut. Their puzzles come in a tube. Random cut. Fun colourful images. 3. L'atelier de Lalita. Nice quality but loose fitting. A brand based in Québec. 4. Indigenous Art (Canadian Art Print). Very colourful images. Good quality but stick to the 1000 pieces. The 500 pieces are not as good. About gradient puzzles, I actually find them more relaxing and meditative than regular puzzles. Great for quieting the mind. It's best to do a smooth gradient (no texture or image) with relaxing background music for maximum effect. Cloudberries has a 500 piece one if you want to give it a try.
Thank you so much for these recommendations! I've haven't heard of many of these brands. I am on a puzzle freeze right now so I won't even peek at the websites right now 😅
I like Gibson puzzles a lot. I’ve done a lot of theirs. I’m doing my first Pomegranate puzzle now. It’s American Gothic, the pitchfork farmer and his wife. The pieces are very small. I like the images Eurographics has but, not pleased with their quality. Their pieces don’t fit well, and sometimes lack variety in shape. I also like Buffalo Games with their zigzag pieces. White Mountains Readers Paradise is one of my favorites. I think it’s a used bookstore. White Mointain used to be known for loose fit and missing pieces. They’ve impressively improved their quality, but be wary of buying older White Mointain puzzles
Sounds like you know your puzzle brands. I'm still learning about them and about what's importnant to me in a puzzle. I really enjoy White Mountain puzzles too!
Hi! Thought I'd mention that Enjoy Puzzle is actually a Romanian brand. They're made in Turkey, but the brand is Romanian. I think you'll find them quite similar to Magnolia puzzles in piece quality and cut. Even the boxes are very similar. My guess is they're made in the same factory.
Love you show i have 94 puzzle been doing puzzles since i was 10 i am now 82 lives in Ontario
I struggle with people in puzzles too- I tend to go more in the direction of cartoon style just to avoid badly done people haha
Same! I love Gibsons for that
I found a puzzle a few years ago that no doubt would have become one of my favorites -a stained glass garden- but for whatever bizarre reason, instead of putting stained glass people in the garden, they ruined it by plastering these hideous NON-stained glass people all over it. My first time on your page I subscribe I love puzzles thanks for showing your I love doing puzzles
I had a blast watching this video 😂
Oh we deff share the same puzzle taste- loving these!!
I really enjoyed your video! I have 1991 puzzles…
ok wow- that fishes puzzle is stunning- I think Id struggle with it, but lovely!!

I loved most of your puzzles, I loved the Cobble Hill puzzles the most, they are the prettiest ones, I love your channel, I have definitely subscribed.
Hi Tia's Mum :) Welcome!
The Ravensburger puzzle is called Happy Sheep Yarn Shop.
I'm working it now! Love it.
Going together surprisingly easy.
Great video!
Thank you for the name! i now know where to find the names on Ravensburger. I also became aware that i seriously need bi-focals. lol. Can't wait to do that one!
Oh, and I have Novel Avenue.
You have great taste! 😉
I Love the different puzzles you have
thank you so much!!!
Hello fellow cat rescuer! I have magnolia in my collection now. Love them! About to start an Eeboo puzzle. Such vibrant colors. Happy puzzling!
Great start for your channel!! I love your collection!
Thank you so much 😍
I also have that Alice in Wonderland. It was so much fun.
Nice! The catfish sold me on buying it
Totally enjoyed your video! Looking forward to being UA-cam jigsaw puzzle friends!
Thank you! Have an amazing day
Hi Carolyn! Welcome! Love new puzzle friends. I post a lot in FB puzzle groups, but have not created a UA-cam channel.
I like long videos - this collection video was great!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I'm so glad you liked my video 🙂

I'm a sucker for Van Haasteren puzzles (I've bought six this week alone!) and I love Wasgij puzzles too. I have about 20 of them.

Thank you so much! I've never heard of that brand. Exciting to discover new brands. Thanks for the recommendation 😃
@@carolynpuzzles of course np!! ✌️
I really love the Jacarou- but they are SUPER shiny pieces. They go together lovely and art is stunning though!

Great collection. Do you ever go thrift shopping for any puzzles? If so, what are your thoughts and take on your finds? Thanks for sharing.
I love thrift shopping but don't have access to many thrift stores. I mainly stick to brands I know I will like when thrifting 😊

Cobble Hill is manufactured in Victoria, BC
