I LOVED THIS COLLAB!!! Thanks for educating me on what 4c hair is! Now that you explained what 4c looks like vs dry/frizzy hair. It is extremely important that ppl stop click baiting their hair as 4c and confusing people who really are looking for proper education and guidance.
and another thing about people who have the genetics to do whatever they want to their hair. a lot of people assume their hair grows really quickly, which it may, but that's not always the case. sometimes their hair is just genetically stronger. it has more tensile strength or is more coarse. when people understand that maybe they won't be so set on trying to make their hair grow faster, but just recognizing and learning the boundaries of their own hair and practicing radical gentleness.
The lady with the bowl of oils 👏🏽 👏🏽. I do heavy oiling and it helps with keeping my hair conditioned and from being stripped. Love it! And her hair is GORGEOUS! ❤ Love this collab!
Yay!! I love creating content with these two 🥰 NappyFu’s video is the third installment. Head over to her channel later tonight or tomorrow morning for more! Thanks for the showing the love. I appreciate you. ❤️
08:26 You probably haven't tried it because it's a South African brand😅. They make really great affordable products. Would highly recommend them to any South Africans watching.
Loved this video!! I would like to hear each of your thoughts about hot oil treatments. I haven't done one in so long and was thinking about doing one soon. I don't feel like anyone talks about it anymore.
Loving this!!! 😍😍😍 I'm no longer a doing the most natural (believe me somebody should have cut my hands off) The past few years I wear protective styles and recently cut my hair into a bob because I've finally accepted I hate dealing with long hair regardless of style. LOVE me a fierce short cut 🥰
I agree with Jen about oils. For me I noticed drenching my hair in oil did literally nothing. It did not slick my hair via penetration. Powder and mucilage herbs slicks my hair
NappyFu I watched you when you first got on UA-cam. We had some chats about me first going natural 😂. You have really come a long way . Congratulations. I have not talked to you in a long time . Good to see you doing so well 🫶🏽
It's nice to see sisters collaborate, 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. Be careful telling the truth that some people hair just grows. I went to a certain UA-camr's channel and commented the person's hair was beautiful, but I thought it without all of the product. Child, some got mad like I said it wouldn't grow. I explained that was a good thing and after that ignored other comments. This person had long hair with a relaxer, as a kid, and has a very loose curl pattern which shows more length.
I always share your videos. I also agree with Nappyfu that sometimes braiders braid too tight and mess our hairline/edges. Thank you for putting me on to two other youtubers. I agreed with alot of opinions on this video.
I'm enjoying all of these. You ladies are so funny together. The discussions are great.! I'm just a lazy natural and all I want to do is shampoo, condition, and style my hair. For me mixing anything is too much trouble.😂😂 I'm with Jen on this one. I know that not using raw oils and butter is rather new to the NH community. Personally, I've never used them, and except for a 9-month period I've been natural all of my life.
Oh ladies. Imagine all three of my favourite you tubers In one. It really is Christmas! I love you guys. Keep doing what your doing. Love from London England. ❤️
Sometimes I think short form videos are created just to keep viewers attention. I see people doing some very interesting things on TikTok for views. Idk if that this creator, but it seems excessive to me as well.
You gotta squeeze a whole lotta carrots to get a bottle of oil. Back in the day, oil treatments were a thing. My stylist at the time said they are to be used on clean, dry hair. In other words, shampoo, dryer, apply oil, heat cap to steam followed by light shampoo, condition then style.
What a great surprise. Love it!! Now with yall from all different areas of the country - my nosy butt want to know how the heck did yall pull this off?
I soo loved this vid. I didn’t even know you all knew each other. It was a really lovely Christmas present. Didn’t want it to end. Vid was hilarious. I watched all of em 😂😏 and savoured them too.
I’m a little confused so should you shampoo a hot oil treatment out of your hair or just rinse it off with water to leave a little bit of the product inside?
I totally agree. Like when it get to a certain point it become a wash and stay rather than a WASH and GO. Like it you have do more than oil and moisturise after washing it's no longer a wash and go it's become a wash and replicate type 3C hair
I wish I had thick 4c hair, my hair after washing just turns into a fuzzy fluffy tumble weed on a stick, with or without product and my hair isn't thick ,it's fine and wavy with a cotton like texture. Styling is a nightmare, cause in 5min s it looks like a week old(not exaggerated). I'm from Trinidad 🇹🇹 , most poeple are mixed race, and siblings (with the same parents) hair types look totally different . I have a love/hate relationship with my hair.🙃
Understandable. So glad you have people online with textures closer to yours to watch. Representation is powerful in shifting your mindset around your hair.
Girl be using all that oil on her hair!!! My seborrheic dermatitis would be freaking out!!! I use just a touch of my own mix of oils and at times that “little “ is still too much! I’ll keep my bottle of oils for sautéing and use just a dab for hair care! ❤

🥰 And we love you for it!
3 of my faves and I’m not even 4c, but the gems dropped in this vid is helpful to me as well. This collab is GOLDEN. 🙌🏾
Great vlog ladies 😍Loved seeing my fellow South African lady using a South African brand too (Native child) ❤
Keep up the good work

I'm so thrilled for this collab!
Omg! I’m subscribed to all of you! So glad to see you get together 🤗
❤️ I enjoyed the conversation/reactions. That simple wash and go was inspiring.
❤️❤️❤️
Honestly, these are the kinds of conversations young girls need to listen to when they first go natural😍😍
@@4cberry Yes ma’am! ❤ That’s so confirming to hear.
Oooohhhh!!!! This is a real treat because I love all three of you!!! Thnx! ❤🥰

Most I’ve ever made was a shae butter mixture and flaxseed gel. Dassit 🙅🏽♀️ and I swap Shea butter for Indian hemp grease.
Loving this natural hair sisterhood!!! Giving Destiny’s Child!
Hi Latoya! I watched Nappy Fu and Jenn J's videos earlier!! So cute

The dunking of the hair in oil feels too much to me too lmao. I can understand a bit for prepoo or shine. And it feels wasteful!

The Chick with the bowl of oil I think was doing it for the look vs practical functional use. Love the commentary from you three ladies 💙
The native child brand during the 8 minute segment is a south African brand I think. I have never tried it. I think I should try it. 🤔😁
Its like using fabric softener first then washing powder on your clothes
❤ I’m way too excited to see these 3 in a collab

Ole girl was doing a lot!!!! But her hair is so nice! Im confusion.
😆 She clearly is doing what works for her….it’s just a lot. My goodness!

Agreed!
I agree, I am a lazy natural. I love a simple routine
OMG!! that was wayyyy too much dang gone oil. 😮
I am interested in the Brand the one lady was using. Her hair was beautiful.
Truuuuue

@@LaToyaEbonyHair it is I looked it up. They have a whole line.

I can’t even watch the video with the girl and all her oil mixtures. I’m sick to my stomach and sad for her. Oil does not moisturize hair
Sick to your stomach? Yikes! That’s a very strong reaction.
I bit her hair is dry as hell after all that oil. Nothing is coming in or out her strands. Lol

Ok. I thought I was tripping when I watched Jenn J’s channel. What a pleasure seeing the three of you together.

Look at the edges of other races. Straight edges look fuller
🤔
interesting
I think the 28 thousand likes are because she has long hair and not the quality of dipping her hair in oil😗
Love the three perspectives! But everyone agrees that was too much oil 😳.
😂 Yes we do lol
