Yo man, that bit at 10:40 is so nice. And a point of notice for those checking this 10 months later: I've never had a device freeze as often as this piece. Heck, my MPC2000xl has never frozen a single time in 20 years! Latest update helped, but not that much. Sometimes the audio just stops working and you have to reload the project. Maybe future updates will address this, but so far it's very risky to try to do a show with this thing. That said, it's the most used item in my studio, even with its flaws. The Plus, and a Jam, a Kontrol Keys and a Launchpad will get you VERY far. Plug some USB hubs into the 2 USB inputs and you can run like 16 devices. And that's not even considering the MIDI. Quite powerful. Blah blah... Kind regards, Doctor!
There is no better feeling than smelling a brand new product, and of course theres no better sampler to work with. Im big fan of sampling and with plenty of pad buttons you can load many samples. And thats pretty fun. Another great video, Keep up the good work Dr Mix👍
Love the European Timbaland vibes with your vocal samples, always adds a heightened sense of energy to see unconventional methods in practical use. Inspiring as always, Doc.🖖🏾
I remember my first groove sample machine the Akai MPC2000 and how almost instant gratification it was to play as long as you had enough ram, good floppies and good cds to sample off of! I loved it. This unit here seems as fun and as instant. SEEMS.. I say that cause when you turned it on for the first time you had to connect it to the internet?? For what? It is an instrument, not a computer to keep tabs on you. That part required you to sign in, register, id, password, what? No! It is an instrument. Turn on and play, not give your private credentials. So that is a turn off. Everything else including you got it for free, is great!
It’s authentication to logon to NI and update the operating system and it’s just the initial boot after you purchase. Yes it will update in the future as well but that’s a good thing as it will remove bugs, add features, and even better include security fixes. 99.99% you turn it on and play. Authenticating using your NI account also allows downloading of additional content. Much nicer than transferring from a computer via USB or SD card. Btw, UA-cam is owned by Google. You’re logged into that so presumably not too worried about being kept tabs on 😉
I have the smallest version, the Maschine Mikro Mk3, and even this is so much fun to play around and find new beats and ways to get inspired. Such a great piece of gear - at a relatively small price tag.
Nice video... I gotta say, I absolutely love your studio Claudio! Every time I watch one of your videos I'm like "Damn that's a kick-ass studio!" Enjoy your new NI baby!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I used the Maschine Studio, now I have the Maschine+. Same workflow and no CPU used. I route the audio in Ableton Live and it ca be synced via Ableton Link. The drums and some more made with Maschine+. With the Yamaha Montage and the Access Virus TI2 I can make nearly everything from the hardware and it sounds great.
Greetings Doctor Mix. I have always enjoyed the way you reverse engineer songs on your videos. The way you listen to the original track, then replicate the sounds using synths and VST's for each of the parts within a song is truly mind blowing. It's very kool the way you vocalize the sounds of the drums and so on too. So having said that I wanted to propose a challenge to you and that is to reverse engineer the intro to the legendary 2112 song by Rush. I was fooling around on my synths and got close to some of the sounds but there's so much more to the rest of the composition. I believe with your talent, you can nail the 2112 theme and watching it done on a video would truly be epic. Thanks for possible consideration. Stay healthy. 👍🎹
hey Doctor Mix, I also having the Maschine+ in my studio-stock since longer time - but did not used it currently often after receiving and first checkup - maybe I should get deeper with that gear!! thank you for the video. your videos are always inspirating me - thank you. ;) I did like to see you creating an remix of an _the Weeknd_-Song!
Looks a nice way of making music . Fabulously done. Clever how you put the synth your voice. and sampler together I liked the combo. Take care. Thank you for sharing .🎹x
Love your energy and positive vibe bro! Going to get rid of my Maschine MK1 and Maschine Studio to get this.. So overdue for a stand alone this compact.
How did you find it for DAW integration? I have the Mikro which is pretty much an expensive paperweight as it isn't compatible with Ableton & Cubase takes a lot of work to get it working. I do love Native Instruments though and they're one of the best companies I've ever had dealings with so... I feel a bit torn on the thought of upgrading.
i have with logic on an new M1 Mini the NI S88 and M3 with the A6 Interface: Please NI get you butt up and do an update to a native M1 support: you had time enough!
I love the idea of powerful standalone but I can’t justify the expense of Maschine+ if it’s only going to be used within home studio. Correct me if I’m wrong, but if you run Maschine MK3 with laptop screen turned off, it’s essentially going to be the exact same experience as using Maschine+ ? (except MK3 will be able to run far more plugins and tracks than a standalone plus)
You should be able to use plus as a controller and use plugins too. Benefit is you dont need a laptop. It is expensive. Homefully used prices will come down
Yeah Dude it's nice, having a stand alone Maschine if you need it. Never the less you can still use a laptop or what ever additionally and this might be more of interest. Written on their homepage: Yes it can be used as a stand alone machine but...they said not every 3rd party instrument is supported so far, more clearer they said that first focus is on having their internal instruments running up first - so finally, as a stand alone you are not able to use every VST on it. This full control gives you only the combination with a computer. So at the end you might be still more flexible with a MK3 and a computer.
I love the MaschineMK3!!... I use it all the time to make beats!!.... Dr Mix, would you consider some of the Blue Note era albums?.... Most are instrumental, but to me, they are some of the greatest recordings ever!!
@2:12 The quick start guide in a form of a comic strip (placed onto the screen section of the device) - a satirical approach to people not reading the manual. XD
Hey ! I'd love you to test the native instruments komplet control synthethesiers, in the same idea than this maschine : self sufficient. (If you have the opportunity btw)
Dear Claudio. A question for you. What vocoder was used in James Bond "Never say never again" in the scene domination the eternal battle( title on UA-cam) Ciao
there is a small documentary about Fatboy Slim where he shows his old, uninterrupted daw setup (Atari) and they had to blur the screen because there where unlicensed samples in his old project files (for which he hasn't been sued jet :) )
I am wondering, Can the Maschine + be used as a sound module . Putting aside all the other futures for now…If I connect a keyboard and create layers and splits of Acoustic Pianos and strings etc. etc. To play with the band. .
hi there iv been watching all your amazing music and how about a tv theme tune battle mix with airwolf vs knightrider keep up the fantastic work its epic !
I had never seen Doctor Mix sooo excited! He looks just like a boy who got his long awaited Christmas present! Have fun!

I love your videos because they transfer your emotion and joy for the music. Thanks for all your videos man.
it's always a lot of fun to watch him have fun with music.
Damn I've definitely been underestimating the potential of making my own keyboard samples with Maschine. That sounds better than a lot of patches
I think this sampling capability deserves a remake of an Art of Noise song.
Yeah, Art Of Noise is great, I love their work and they got a nice CMI to play with.
Suggesting Beat Box or Moment in love
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Great Scott man. I think you're right! 😜🤣
I can get behind that! Good call.
As an owner of a Maschine Studio I'm happy with anything you'll do with it. Love it already! :)
There is no better feeling than smelling a brand new product, and of course theres no better sampler to work with. Im big fan of sampling and with plenty of pad buttons you can load many samples. And thats pretty fun. Another great video, Keep up the good work Dr Mix👍
their is SOOOOOO MUCH YOU CAN DO WITH A MASCHINE! OMG I have the Mikro Mk2 and I'm still dumbfounded to keep discovering new things!!
I already own one since the first day and I like the machine very much, a lot of fun playing around with it...!!
9:06 After Native Instruments saw this musical creation, I don't know if they regretted sending you a Maschine 😁
Music sounds like for Amanita Design video games.
Just the start: “I’m a simple man”.
A simple man that is an awesome entertainer and musician 😉
Love the European Timbaland vibes with your vocal samples, always adds a heightened sense of energy to see unconventional methods in practical use. Inspiring as always, Doc.🖖🏾

Beast mode!!!!
Watching the amount of fun you have messing arround with it made my day! 👌✌️
Unpacks Maschine, three minutes later, making a song from scratch that in itself allready sounded crazy good.
Natural finger drummer! Good stuff dude!
Thanks for introducing the "Machine +". I bought it and it's amazing. I have a lot of fun. 😎
I have the smallest version, the Maschine Mikro Mk3, and even this is so much fun to play around and find new beats and ways to get inspired. Such a great piece of gear - at a relatively small price tag.
Dr.Mix: Thank you for your videos they always make me smile-Spaceboy
I'm deep diving videos on the Maschine+ since I'm getting delivery tomorrow. Love your passion and charisma!
I started thinking "This guy is a kinda crazy" to This guy is a talented man" good demonstration.
Great unboxing video, Claudio! Spreading good mood in large amounts again. Thanks man!
I love watching this fella. He should have way more subscribers
Nice video... I gotta say, I absolutely love your studio Claudio! Every time I watch one of your videos I'm like "Damn that's a kick-ass studio!"
Enjoy your new NI baby!!!
I picked up one used over Christmas. Really need to sit down and learn it. :)
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I used the Maschine Studio, now I have the Maschine+. Same workflow and no CPU used. I route the audio in Ableton Live and it ca be synced via Ableton Link. Yeah buddy throwing in that FBS action!
Nice build up to your jam:)! Thank you!!!
Great video! Keep up the good work Doctor Mix! It all sounded very awesome!

I love your studio Claudio .
Oh my god, 😂 10:22 that is amazing Doctor Sampling 🤩🙌
That Tuuh--uuuh jam is so bizarre, straight out of a Japanese anime. As always, your quick jams are the best way to demo stuff.
it sure is a beautiful piece of machinery
hey Doctor Mix, I also having the Maschine+ in my studio-stock since longer time - but did not used it currently often after receiving and first checkup - maybe I should get deeper with that gear!! thank you for the video. your videos are always inspirating me - thank you. ;) I did like to see you creating an remix of an _the Weeknd_-Song!

Got this Beauty in Light Grey Special Limited Edition.

Dude, my mom's 94 birthday today!
Make it a nice one😉
Die Maschine+ is COOL and you play it the COOLEST ! 🎶🎹🤖
You should do a version of “don’t worry, be happy”
Hi
You are so positive and powerful person.
I like You ✌😃👍
I migliori auguri per l'anno nuovo, carissimo! Happy New Year!
Love it✊🏻🔝
Love your energy and positive vibe bro! Going to get rid of my Maschine MK1 and Maschine Studio to get this.. So overdue for a stand alone this compact.
On fire!
I like the way he rotates things in his hands.
Epic track

Das Sound Machine+ pitches perfectly.
Nice work dude!
What is that Machine...?
Yes.
Great video Dr.Mix!!! As always :3
Boing Boom Tschak!! 🕶

That was dope...you put your thing down on that JAWHN!!!
I love Native Instruments. I like to arrange songs in Maschine, but I want to get the Yamaha nuage workstation. How do you link Machine with Nuendo?
I only buy vintage samplers because I am stucked in 1996 forever, hate modern things.😁😁
great fkn jam session...much respect!
M|A|R|R|S - Pump Up The Volume
very nice toy , very interesting
I have a crazy thought for my setup. NI S88 and Machine+ together with Roland Fantom 8. Too much? But Doctor Mix has a Fantom as well.
Good instrument doctor
Now i just want to buy one, but then i remember how bad i am with music, so i let stay a good memory :).
I love the MaschineMK3!!... I use it all the time to make beats!!.... Dr Mix, would you consider some of the Blue Note era albums?.... Most are instrumental, but to me, they are some of the greatest recordings ever!!
I ❤ DM
I would love to hear your take on an old school boom bap song, or maybe something like public enemy.
MASCHINE PLUS OR AKAI FORCE??? How about a head to head comparison? Please.
From the Description of the product….
MASCHINE+ is an immersive, standalone groovebox for production and performance-no computer necessary.
@2:12 The quick start guide in a form of a comic strip (placed onto the screen section of the device) - a satirical approach to people not reading the manual. XD
How would you compare machine+ with mpc's, Claudio? Do you have any MPC's in studio?
Mind-blown; amazing...
Great video , what are your thoughts about the maschine+ and the boos 505
Doctor mix wanna to learn music from u.... U great great 👍👍👍
Awesome demo!! ...but seriously dude, you gotta consider decaf :)
Hi Claudio!
make a video about the eektron Model Sampler Please, will be great!!!
I have my + since Dezember. . . Its a dream. And you make great shit
Thanks for this vid, man! My gen 1 Maschine finally died recently and I've been thinking of upgrading to the plus.
Awesome product & video, as per usual! :)
Chords sounds like spyro the dragon theme
!
And now, masterclass about how you licensed these samples😀
there is a small documentary about Fatboy Slim where he shows his old, uninterrupted daw setup (Atari) and they had to blur the screen because there where unlicensed samples in his old project files (for which he hasn't been sued jet :) )
@@olik136 the Copyright Law has changed a few times since then.
I am wondering, Can the Maschine + be used as a sound module . Putting aside all the other futures for now…If I connect a keyboard and create layers and splits of Acoustic Pianos and strings etc. etc. To play with the band.
.
Sorry didn’t finish my questions what are your thought about the maschine+ and the boss 505 in terms of live perform
Do think it is to combine it with your verselab?
That Is a Really Nice Piece of Hardware.
hi there iv been watching all your amazing music and how about a tv theme tune battle mix with airwolf vs knightrider keep up the fantastic work its epic !
