When last were you stopped by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service in a road block? What are your thoughts about road blocks in Trinidad and Tobago?
While you're stopped about 50 gunmen passed without getting stopped.
Thanks for your input into Trini Police road block in Trinidad.
Police search my car and damaged my ps5 from dropping my bag thank god i had my dashcam the police officer was getting on a horrible way. I carried the dashcam footage to the police and he had to go back to training in the baracks
Wow, that is unfortunate. Some of the officers can behave silly for sure but I would say the majority are not that way.
I'll consider myself lucky as i've yet to be stopped by the TTPS, licensing officers or traffic makers (wardens)

Wait, so the cops there can search your vehicle based off their own suspicions, instead of probable cause? Sounds mighty shady.
Thanks for your input into Trini Police Road Block in Trinidad.
Yes, and we usually expect the same liberties the USA citizens have, so sometimes we have confusion and confrontation during roadblocks here, which makes the police look wicked, but they're allowed by the T&T laws to search without consent. (Except on private property I believe).
Police in Trini walk around with m9s and AK-47? 😯
Yes, because Trini criminals have the same or sometimes better weapons as well. Thanks for your input into Trini Police Road Block in Trinidad and Tobago.
I don't think any arm of the security service use AK- 47, the police use MP5 the army, coast guard, and air guard use Galil, and other types of gun but I have never see of them with AK-47.
@@JBsManCave new gun in t&t is the AR15 now
You can politely decline from participating in their "survey" if you feel uncomfortable. This was said in a tv interview with a senior officer.
Thanks for your input into Trini police road block. i have never heard the police offer it as something optional. I suppose declining might give them opportunity to conduct a search.
TTPS officers are allowed to search if there are reasonable grounds to believe there may be contraband in the vehicle.
There is a Mobile Data Terminal, mostly in newer TTPS vehicles. Emergency Response Patrol which was created by Gary Griffith had all the vehicles equipped with MDTs, but the ERP system was dissolved after his tenure for whatever reason along with National Operations Centre. Now the ERP vehicles are being used by random branches and there are no helicopters to assist with law enforcement.
Thanks for the insight and your input into Trini Police Road Block.
Trinidad such a lawless country that things like this have to be
Thanks for your input into police road block in Trinidad.
Trinis do you KNOW YOUR RIGHTS if you are pulled over by Police? Watch the WHOLE video and then comment there: ua-cam.com/video/utFIxKHXq3g/v-deo.html
License/Insurance
Usually if there's a licensing officer there, they'll ask for registration too.
The searches are annoying but very necessary, they should do it more randomly in shorter bursts.
Thanks for your input into Trini Police Road Block.
You said some positive things about roadblocks. However, I question whether or not it is as effective as the consistent enforcement done elsewhere. I lament the fact that this seems to be their best tool and tactic. It reminds me of yet another reason that we are thought of as 3rd world people. Roadblocks are generally reserved for recapturing escaped prisoners. They were popular in Nazi controlled parts of Europe to exert control. Where else does law enforcement get to disrupt your life arbitrarily?
Interesting take. Thanks for your input into Trini Police Road Block in Trinidad and Tobago.
Well said. However! One thing bothers me: why does it bother you that we are thought of as a third world country? Are we to judge ourselves by criteria established by others? We are not slaves anxious for the approval of those with power.
Nice video thanks

@@JBsManCave not the police never do nothing wrong to me , but is nice the information because l want Trinidad and tobago get in better every day
It's about how you look and some unnecessary questions and insult just by looking and judging you
Thanks for your input into Trini police road block in Trinidad and Tobago.
Roadblock is good. Random to check for licenses and other stuff. there is too much going on in T&T.
Thanks for your input into Trini police road block in Trinidad and Tobago.
The government take laws from different countries as they wishes but other countries do have road blocks like here

You all obey the law
Indeed. Thanks for your input into what happens at a police road block in Trinidad.
Sir the police should not have your personal information like where you live if you married and so on
If you fit a description to a crime well then yes there's 2 side to the coin
I can go on and on but allow me to give you 1 example
A girl that i know was stopped in a road block and she went ahead and answered all the unnecessary questions and the same police officer started showing up at har house think about that for a moment
There must be balance the biggest gang in TnT is the police think about that too
Those are some good points. This would be less about the questions and more about making sure there are no rogue police officers on the force since any police officer has the ability to access info about the citizenry through your permit / vehicle registration, etc. Thanks for sharing them in this video about Trini Police Road Block in Trinidad and Tobago.
I don't think that the police should be able to stop you as part of their "routine exercise" at all. It's a hassle, it's an imposition on citizens going about their private business and I doubt that their wasting your time ever pays off. I've stopped going to beaches on the eastern side of Trinidad because of the overzealous, authoritarian cretins that pervade that side of the island. We deserve better policing than this foolish stop and search.
Interesting opinions. Thanks for your input into Trini Police Road Block in Trinidad and Tobago.
its called probable cause
Thanks for your input into Trini Police Road Block in Trinidad and Tobago.
But just looking at someone race or hairstyle should not be probable cause
They looking for blocks not to build house😂
Thanks for your input into Trini police road block in Trinidad and Tobago.

Such a cryptic message. What is the "ploy" and who are the "feeble minded?"
