Word to the wise: I can only speak for '20/21 TX 300s but the rear fender/tail light install on those bikes is a pain in the ass. TE's and TX's use different fender liners (back of the airbox), so don't expect the new license plate support (black thing under the tail light) to bolt right up on the TX. Nor is there a hole for the tail light wiring harness to pass through. Expect to do some cutting/modifying of the license plate support. And hope you don't discover this at midnight the night before a ride like I did.
I have a 2010 Ktm 250 xcw last owner took the headlight off I bought an LED headlight off Amazon but it does not work when I plug it into the factory, wiring harness. I did check to make sure the headlight works with a separate battery and it does. Not sure if the light being an LED makes a difference. Any advice would be appreciated also anything I can buy to make it work. The bike was running when and I had the switch on
Cool. Am considering one (harness and headlight) for a 2022 KTM 300 XC TPI. Looks like you installed a headlight listed for a KTM XC-W headlight. Is that correct as I have no headlight?
I have a 2021 KTM 450 XC-F and would like to utilize my BD Squadron Pro. I have a rectifier… does this run off the stator or battery? I have the OEM stator so it hasn’t had a rewind.
Just wanted to clarify that I have a 24v starting system so not looking to run directly off my battery (AG-401). I would rather have a rewind and run from the stator.
Do you have a harness and kit for a 2016 KTM XCF? I'm looking to get it outfitted for street legal. Do you know if the stock stator has enough Amps for this type of set up?
@@truenorthmotos9965 yes I just purchased it thank you. I was looking at your site about a month ago before and was going to call you guys to see if one was in the works. And saw the video said 300xc so I went on your site. Thanks , looking forward to installing.

We cut the under fender to make it fit on the 2020+ husky bikes and the wires fit between the fender and sub fender just like on the FE models.

Probably wiring. You need a rectifier inline with LED. Call or email me and I’ll help you figure it out.
Will this work for the SX models? Do they have the same stator?
Yes it will work on the SX-F models but not the two stroke SX models.

Yes we did use an xcw light. We also have the Acerbis VSL light in stock which is better if you don’t need the hi/low function.
@@truenorthmotos9965 Thank you for the info & reply.
No problem.

It runs off the battery which the stator charges. You’d want a trail tech stator to run that light.
To clarify it uses a relay so it doesn’t pull power when the bike is not running.
Where i can buy this headlight kit for xc 300 2021?thanks
On our website at TrueNorthMotos.com
