Mill Creek Trail is not new. The Titans were discovered by non natives about 20 years ago. Mill Creek Trail was unimproved and somewhat wild. The state closed the trail during Covid to build the metal staircases. The state grew weary trying to keep visitors out of the grove of Titans, so they decided to welcome people to the grove on elevated walkways so boots don’t compact the soil. It was way better before people knew about the grove.
I miss the sounds and smells of those grooves.

Boy Scout tree is a grand tree, but the tail sucks, and needs to be renovated. All of the roots need to be cut, or soil layer over them.
