Love this lesson. Working on eliminating the phrase “you know”. All of these are ways we seek validation, acceptance and understanding. State the facts as you know them and put a period on it. 👌🏽
Hi, Ruth! I used to say "sort a" and "kind a." I still have some fillers but using the *_period_* trick, I've reduced all fillers by about 95%.
Excellent presentation! Thank you 👌🏼
My acceptable is a job well done by the groups of sorting, you are really took a crucial step toward brighter future to all countries from across sixth continents, by then better a gigantic visions than dictators, thanks you very much!.God bless you.
I use a lot of side particles. In your example the "uhh.." Comes off to me as a pause for thought, but the last "you think?" Is what really brings the house down.
One practice of mine to remove some of those fillers is something I learned in public speaking- I learned to be comfortable with silence as I worked to articulate my thoughts. Instead of "uhh" I remained silent until I was ready. Helped quite a bit.
Yes, silence always sound better. Thanks you for giving your personal examples, Nelson.
This is probably going to sound weird but I think your video is great ,so uhhh I try to improve my communication skill ,but I think I can do it.
I enjoy listening to your videos :)
Glad you like them, Amrita. Thank you for saying so.
