I was blessed to have an excellent father. I wouldn't be half the woman I am without him. He died a few years ago and I still miss him every day.

Lena Dunham is proof of why a good father is so very important, and how the traditional family unit actually does work. Sons need their dads so they grow up to become a proper man, but a girl needs her dad so she doesn't grow up to be a Lena Dunham.

Her Father is Carroll Dunham he's an "artist" if you google his art it looks like the deranged doodles of a 13 year old. She also admitted to molesting her sister for years. Giving her younger sister money or candy to give her 5 second kisses on the lips. In Lena words trying to normalize the activity with her sister. She also said she would do anything a pedo would do to groom a child. Lena's activity screams of a child who was sexually awaken much too young which is normally signs of being molested.

incorrect. better to have legs that do not work then not have legs. because if your just sitting in a wheelchair people aren't going to stare at you or avoid contact. also possible they may come up with a way to get your legs to work again...no wait i saw a dude with cyborg legs the other day...I withdraw my comment.

Statistically the absolute best way to ensure a child's success in life is for them to have both biological parents. I'm not saying it can't work other ways but statistically there is no denying that having both bio parents definitely gives you an advantage. People like Lena may find that inconvenient but it doesn't change the fact that it's true.

I'm sorry but the deadbeat dad trope is the exception, not the rule, you can't accuse a man of being a deadbeat when he is kicked out of his home prevented form seeing his children and has to pay more than his salary to his ex. You also can't blame a man who fucked a woman who lied about her contraceptive and didn't tell him about the child she got from him, and generally those dads learn they have children only when the state comes knocking at their doors to claim the child support because the mom figured out he was the one with the most declared income she could syphon without letting him access to his children.
If you want father to be part of the family, you must first make mothers responsible for their choices, the choices only they can ever make! They have all the choices they want throughout pregnancy, the man has no right to tell her what she can and cannot do, from having contraceptive, asking to wear a condom, getting an abortion, giving up the kid for adoption, etc. All these choices are for her and her only to make under our law, and YET it is for the man to foot the bill when SHE decides she wants to keep the baby.

The fatherless home does the best when a dad is simulated. An uncle, one of the mommies, a family friend who fills that role. Sometimes a single mom can do it, but it's always difficult. The kids will struggle with what they aren't getting their whole lives, win or lose that struggle they will have to go through that struggle.
It's far from ideal. Especially if it's just a mom who never, ever tries to play the dad part.
Lena is one of my least favorite people on this planet who hasn't killed anyone. I HATE her.

The reason people say controversial things when they are in the public eye is in order to get free advertising. They don't care if you HATE them, if you still pay attention to them enough to be willing to sit through a portion of a commercial or see them promote a product in the background subconsciously.
If you want her to go away, you have to ignore her. It's going to take a DECADE of this silliness before the wider society realizes that it's best just to ignore.

When I was 6 years old he taught me how to multiply double-digit numbers in my head just for fun and that simple lesson made me want to learn more and more about everything. He didn't need to push me to my homework or do well in school later on because he already taught me that lesson at 6. My mom would never have done that

I agree. I understand Adam's point that a child is much better off with a father in their life, but why shit on every other type of family just because they are not perfect? Most families don't SEEK OUT a life without a father, it's usually just an unfortunate circumstance that leaves a kid with a fatherless household and as a result, a less of a shot at success in life. So why shit on those kids further by telling them they don't have a chance? Why not instead motivate them to beat the odds? Adam's rant was almost as gross as Lena's tweet.

don't know what the lady at the end is talking about, when do we as a society just let these dead beat dads off the hook? we go after any dad, even the good ones, even the ones who want to raise the kid without drug addict hangers-on mom, or at the very least want equal time. we have a family court system that favors moms almost universally. you can be "served" fatherhood in the mail without even knowing it, just some woman puts your name to a piece of paper. it's not required to be tested for, there's no "I wanna call an audible here," "I contest this claim"; we've set up a society filled with contracts relating to relationships and child rearing that all favor the woman so hard on the basis that dude who skips on kid is worst and ugliest and eviliest bastard imaginable. we will tear down perfectly good men in the meatgrinder of statist bureaucracy just so we can pretend we have a government that can actually produce proper single mothers through the welfare state and through subsidization of fathers incomes and giving women what is none other than a severance package for terminating marriages they are choosing to terminate with fathers willing to bear the brunt. because we can point to dem checks and say there's no need for dads. no offense to her but she speaks from total opposite land from what I see cause I see dads who would love to be in their childrens' lives but can't be for so much as one weekend one month four times a year says vindictive/psychopath mom with all the legal rights to visitation, but they can keep getting their wages garnished and go to jail for child support payments in arrears when dad had no say in anything besides at best "X number of years ago, yes, I did wanna put my dick there before I realized you were completely insane and were willing to use sex, marriage, my own children and the state to destroy me over something that described as petty would be an egregious overstatement." see cassie jaye's the red pill for just a couple examples of this. but I mean it doesn't take some small market indie documentary to shine the light on this seemingly rare issue, really just look around you... how many voluntarily single mothers do we know who accept payments either if not from the state then garnished/collected by the state from some poor sucker dad (who is at an increased risk of "I wanna fucking kill myself" syndrome we're finding out more and more across the board just male to female, forget any specific issue)? (I wonder why that might be though, hmm....)

Lena Dunham you're okay by me, I don't care what anybody says, we may have different politics, but you got the kind of fetching face and voice I'd do in a heartbeat - Now I'm gonna go give Adam Carolla & Dennis Prager $25 to make "NO SAFE SPACES" - CIAO!

You don't need a left leg, so many people get along fine with only a right leg.
But if you do have a left leg, don't appreciate it, just judge its performance harshly in comparison to your right leg.

If a woman can abandon her responsibility by leaving her baby at a hospital or fire station with impunity, why must we condemn a man for "abandoning his responsibility"?

It bothers me that nobody pointed out to Adam that this was a father's day tweet. He's clearly missing the context that she was shitting on dads on father's day.

I moved to Alaska with my family because my wife wanted to move back close to her family and she was going to take the kids with or without me. 3 years later, she has an affair and kicked me out of the house when I found out about the affair and confronted her. We had shared a vehicle (I was working- she wasn't) so I no longer had a vehicle to work, a place to live and no support network. I managed to hang on for about 6 months before I eventually had to move back to Seattle after I was offered a high paying job. Tried to save money but I got hit with a massive back child support order in addition to what I was already paying. It financially broke me (which is pretty much the goal of this niche of the government- create a debt slave and ensure their parasitic bureaucratic department continues to exist so that they can have a cushy job with benefits and a 401K at your expense) and it spiraled downward from there. So I guess that makes me a "deadbeat." This isn't a unique experience either. There are fathers who WALK OUT on their families and then there are fathers who are FORCED out.
