- I really do love mudding the Traxxas TRX4 Defender and I think it does it so well! Plus doesn't it look its best, covered in mud just like a real Land Rover Defender should be!
Before anyone says it, I know it's noisy, something isn't right with the spur to pinion mesh even though I've tried every combination on mounting holes etc! I'll sort it!

Do you disassemble the diffs, portals and transmission and clean and lube after a run like this?
No, I'd be doing it all the time! 🤣
I just service it maybe every 6 months with new bearings and then re grease everything with white marine grease, unless it seems like it needs it sooner or I'm doing another part at the same time.

Not me man I work on cars for a living and it sucks at times but I love taking apart my truck everytime hasn't gotten old yet I so I say bring on the mud haha

@@joshlindsey02 It's not the fastest or most powerful, but tbf it's stood up to about 2 years of abuse, so it's done pretty well! 🤣👍

I normally wash it off in any fresh water, like bid puddles, stream etc. Then once home, hose it down, dry it and coat in GT85 for next time. 👍
