I just wanted to say, saw this style turban headband in a shop in Yarm £15. I wanted to buy for a friend and came home to look in here, I found your video and am so, so grateful, this is exactly what I was looking for, thank you
I love this basic design. I like the elastic band in back to fit more sizes. I tried for several winters to do the one where the seam is on the twist. They all looked bad and wouldnt lay flat. This allows even non stretch material. I want more ear muff style but think I can make wider at sides with a bit less elastic at back especially with stretch materials. Going to try. Thanks so much!
I like the simplicity. I figured out how to do it with my hand arthritis. Needed to alter the small piece: fold it in half, right sides together and press, fold long sides in about 1/2 in on wrong side of fabric, press, fold again in half lengthwise, press, sew 1/8 in on both sides lengthwise, insert 1/2 in elastic with a large safety pin, the video had to turn inside out and it was too much tugging and pulling for my hands. Thank you for this lovely easy tutorial.
I absolutely love this video how you took your time to explain I am looking for new items to sell in my online store I've constantly sell scrunchies and other types of headband but I will definitely be trying this one out today thank you so much🇹🇹🥰
Hey. Thanks for this tutorial. I just made mine in a black stretch fabric I had in my scraps bundle. I used 5 and a half inches wide for the bigger fabric because it was not as wide. It turned out pretty fine and fits my head perfectly
