• Deltarune [Chapter 2] ...
Chapters:
0:00 - Spamton
0:36 - NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A
1:46 - Deal Gone Wrong
2:18 - Deal Gone Wrong (Sped Up)
2:31 - BIG SHOT
4:41 - Outro
When fighting normal spamton, a little while later the dialogue says;
“There’s nothing wrong.
There’s NOTHING WRONG
THERES NOTHING WRONG”
Similar to the dialogue when fighting mad dummy!
Coincidence? I think not
Dummies and puppets are pretty similar and spamton neo is based around being a puppet
BIG SHOT has a bit of Mad Dummy in it, so I'd say it certainly isn't a coincidence lol
well the big shot theeme also has the dummy! leitmotif and the body he finds is very similar to mettaton neo and mettaton neo is mad dummy's cousin
I DON'T NEED FRIENDS! I HAVE A KNIFE!
...
...
...
I'm out of knives.
It's weird though, considering it's the description/narration box the one saying it.
Another thing to note - "HEY EVERY!" and "A Real Boy!" both share a leitmotif, you should probably cover that if you do a "Chapter 2 all Minor Leitmotifs" Video.
these are the same song but different
@@joaocomtil_ more specifically they're the exact same song except a real boy is sped up
@@egon3705 except not??? they're nearly the same speed, A Real Boy! is just 4 times as long, has different instrumentation, different chords, and develops the melody
@@egon3705 how did you get here
you placed 14th in bfb
@@joaocomtil_ great observation! I also noticed in BIG SHOT Spamton also has mettaton neo theme, mad dummy theme, napstablooks theme, a small bit jevils theme at 3:27 , and even a bit of Undyne the undyings theme.
Maybe with all chapters released we will need a "Every song with the "WORLD REVOLVING" leitmotif" video
yeah cause with spamton neo and jevil both share: their search of freedom and the world revolving leitmotif; so probably that will be an ongoing theme for the secret bosses
What If: World Revolving already using leitmotif. Leimotif of Final Secret Boss theme or something like that.
@@Nicknotmaps yeah
We are at four songs using the leitmotif
Hmm I wonder when all the chapters release, that lietmotif will have a different context
This is why Toby remains the master of taking a motif and gradually building on it until it culminates in a climatic battle.
It's so we'll done even if you don't consciously notice it, your brain sure does.
Toby takes one good song and makes it better and somehow pulls it off way to well
*well
we’ll means we will
well means…. well…. well.
Damn I can see why people praise Spamton's songs so much, Deal Gone Wrong is clearly the peak of DeltaRune's OST
I really enjoyed what Toby did with Spamton, he would've been great just as a joke character, but Toby did a lot with him which is awesome
@P D they usually get recognized a lot by a lot of people in comment sections
Queen's leitmotif is more widespread and their songs are pretty banger too.
Everywhere
deal gone wrong is not the peak.
The other songs are much better.
Well, well, well... If it isn't the [Big Shot] of Undertale/Deltarune comment sections..
*Christopher Moon...*
I noticed that you can hear The Power of Neo in the almost entire theme
@Sweet “What in the Goddamn?” Tea yup
You can slightly hear also in the part with Jevil's theme, and in the end. The first part (The beats) sounded similar to it, like it had the same energy.
It's mostly Spamton B (which is intended to resemble it) but during the TWR segment and the glitches in the last part It's definitely TPoNEO
Now that we know that one part of world revolving is actually the secret boss theme I kinda wanna go back to the song and figure out what jevil’s leitmotif actually is
The best fandom name for it I’ve heard was the freedom leitmotif
Yeah, which part is specifically Jevil. I figure that sorta repetitive, bouncy part in the first couple seconds makes sense for him, it’s very carnival-esque
Yeah, the Jevil lemotif is in BIG SHOT. (Around 3:25, listen to the longer notes in the background)
@@ChestersonJack it’s actually somewhere in the middle in the background beat.
@@exi_m7074 theyre talking about the leitmotif that belongs to jevil, not the "freedom" leitmotif
Bruhhhh i never realized that the [Spamton] Palace theme is just Spamton slowed down
Same, I thought it was SOMETHING slowed down but I didn’t expect it to be Spamton’s theme.
To me it was obvious
Ok I like the glitching effect your doing as a joke for this video
What glitching effect?
@@walnutinc961 0:20
As a "joke", sure...
ARG MOMENT
@@birgecedecahilkalandora4166 is it actually an arg? Cause there’s several theories as to how Spamton is connected to Gaster, so that’s why I think Media has the glitching effects and the text changes
I'm a simple person.
I read "Spamton". I click.
I love all the songs related to him haha
Me too lol
Just dont accidentally click on a Popup.
@@cybercritterowo and say [[yes]] to [[every deal]] you see
@@cybercritterowo well said!
You got spam mails!
If only you were a pipis person, you would've avoided that...
3:25 There’s also the first six notes of the very anticlimatical Genocide Mettaton Neo theme on loop
I loved the editing of him saying sorry and Gaster's image appearing slightly
Where?
Go to 0:22. You have to pause exactly at 0:24.
@@NataliaOliveira-qb1ie oh, cool!
@@karidriff you can also pause and press the , and . keys like u would < and > to scroll through individual frames :D
@@DarkAngel1117_ I already knew that, but thanks
I feel like the "Jevil part" will be present in every secret boss that is related to Gaster, freedom or something like that
Sooo I will just call that part of the theme "Secret boss melody"
I’ve waiting for somebody to say this!
I’d rather call it the freedom leitmotif
I think that each new secret boss will build off of all previous themes, so by the end we'll have a secret boss with all 7 leifmotifs in their song. Assuming one per chapter.
I’m still calling it the Jevil leifmotif.
@@Phhase maybe the Knight will have all seven? I'm still hoping for the last secret boss to be Sans, though.
The version of Jevil theme in Spamton shop theme helped me hear it better in "The circus". by the way, THE WORLD REVOLVING has a part of Queen theme. Just saying in case you didn't notice since you didn't put it in the Queen video.
Dialtone is a beautiful song
Damn you're right, I can hear it now. In the piano. I barely noticed the piano before!
@@sploofmcsterra4786 where is that in The World Revolving?? I wanna hear it lol
@@sploofmcsterra4786 Please, please where is that at lol
3:53 maybe this is the next bosses leitmotif, then?
4:05 The way you paved the dialogue to fit the time the motif plays, and the CHOICE of dialogue, that it’s literally interrupting the song! *chef’s kiss* [*very specifically, chef lancer’s kiss*]
nice coincidence, now's your chance to be *A* starts with the A part of the leitmotif, while *B* ig shot starts with the B part
(small thing tho, 4:05 is dummy, not ghost fight, that part doesnt appear in ghost fight)
@@DivineDefect There is no music when Blooky interrupts the fight.
@@sheogorath6834 yes, there is just the mad dummy part, and yes, everything that is playing at the same time just stops for mad dummy and resume once mad dummy is gone (also, it make sense mad dummy instead of ghost fight, because spamton is possessing that robot)
I think it's because of the end of the mad dummy fight where Blooky "interrupts" Mad Dummy and you.
@@caramelcupcakes but when that happens theres no music playing
I love the "Dummy" part in BIG SHOT
Yea that part is from Dummy!, not Ghost fight, right?
@@alexandrepilon4328 That's the leitmotif at the end of Dummy (which isn't in Ghost Fight), yes.
4:05
3:54 for other parts
Knowing your style of video I knew something wacky was going to happen when THE WORLD REVOLVING slipped in. I was not disappointed.
Having a part of mad dummy's leitmotif in big shot makes sense because spamton is possessing that robot, just as the ghost was possessing that dummy
The way that you tailor these videos specifically to fit the motifs you're gonna cover is outstanding
The glitched out disclaimer sent chills down my spine
NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A [Deal Gone Wrong]
I love that when you can hear a leitmotif from another track, there was something added to represent that, like when Jevil and Mettaton were in the circle for when parts of their songs were played or that little bit when you could here Ghost Fight (Or Dummy, the two sound very similar and its hard to tell the difference.) I think its cool that OP went the extra mile to include the leitmotifs from other tracks that were here too.
DEFINITELY an upgrade on what Chapter 1 was doing (Or, wasn't doing) with Jevil. I really like the way they actualized Spamton's motivations instead of just making them 'crazy man jumble' like with Jevil (Other than Seam's knowledge of the jester course, that helped ground him in this 'world').
Also, I LOVE the inserts you made here. Really feels like you've embraced his quirks and poured them into this vid. Fun stuff!
Wow this video is so well made, like even more so than usual, the little added things make the video pleasant to watch and almost an adventure to find all of them
i get the feeling that jevil leitmotif is going to just be a 'big secret boss medley' across all the rest of the chapters with them
Can't wait for the Gaster one...
Especially in the Genocide track list....
Do you think Noelle's Thoughts sounding like Gaster's Theme means other Weird Route songs will have it too?
They say it's *RUDY* to talk about someone who's listening...
@@TheManInBlueFlames Well WHY'S HE LISTENING ALL THE TIME!? GO MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS!!
@@TheManInBlueFlames
You could say it's Rude, Buster!
the gaster ones will just be every song with an arpeggio
Dialtone is so good. I would have been super sad is you didn't have a nod to it. Also big shot after the third light motif a so good.
3:26 lol love that little detail
Man these are better than I remembered. Masterful use of distortion and leimotif hints in BIG SHOT and generally every one of these easily surprasses most songs in both OSTs. 10/10 character with trademark 10/10 music.
So, out of his 8 songs, only half have the 'Spamton' leitmotif? Huh.
If you're wondering how I got 8,
1. HEY EVERY !
2. Spamton
3. NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A
4. Dialtone
5. Missed Call
6. BIG SHOT
7. Deal Gone Wrong
8. Call for Help
EDIT: There's actually 9. I didn't know 'Keygen' had a music track. Thanks Idol!
EDIT^2: I forgot about ‘A Real Boy!’ Which plays after you cut Spamton’s strings. Thank Mr. Mister for that one.
plus keygen!
+ A Real Boy, the song that plays right after beating Spamton NEO
@@mr.mister3960 And that has the HEY EVERY motif in it.
Well, as we know, Dialtone and Bigshot have the Jevil/Circus/The World Revolving tune in it. Fans theorize that is is just the secret boss or "freedom seeker" melody.
I wonder what Chapter 3's "freedom seeker" will be like.
Should’ve had Mad Dummy pop in at the points when their theme plays
Love the small Jevil in BIG SHOT lol
This is very helpful, thank you!
(I also believe that HEY EVERY and A Real Boy have the same motif. Nothing too big, but it’s interesting!)
I absolutely loved all your editing jokes in this one. Especially during BIG SHOT. Keep it up!
Holy crap, the editing on this is amazing. I was not expecting something so high quality, nice job!
I like how every single one of Spamton's songs has an "A, B" leitmotif order while BIG SHOT has a "B, A" leitmotif order
so true
If you listen closley at 1:11 - 1:13 the descending notes in the background sound exactly like Omega Flowey.
i missed this style of video, thanks for bringing the genre back!
The “nows you’re chance to be a big shot” could be a leitmotif variation itself tbh
does anyone else kinda hear the "Battle Against a True Hero" theme at 3:26 along with the World Revolving?
Honestly I think the "Now's your chance to be a [[Big Shot]]! Be a big, be a big..." and the phong rings that are associated with it, while not strictly musical, can be considered a separate part of the leitmotif all by itself. It's such a specific phrase, a specific rhythm, and so clearly associated with Spamton.
Also in the part where jevil’s theme is there, is sounds like battle against a true hero in the background
0:07 [[Can anyone hear me?]]
0:24 [[You need to help me.]]
I love how you edited the video! It really reflects Spamton tbh, great video I love ur content :))
'Always appreciate the little extra work that goes into these to make them entertaining, it really helps them stand out among the other Deltarune videos that simply serve to demonstrate something and nothing more.
i love it when you put jevil, napstablook and mettaton while their leitmotifes are played`
Wow this video is really well edited!
in BIG SHOT you can hear Jevil, Undyne the Undying, a little bit of Napstablook, and Mettaton Neo uwu
I have both:
NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A
and
BIG SHOT
saved on my sPeCiAl music playlist
Congrats on 30K subs!
I was hoping you'd point out the Jevil / NEO / Blooky leitmotifs in BIG SHOT and you did it in the most fun way possible. Love this format and your editing, can't wait to see more 💛
0:24 oh hello gaster
at the end it was actually mad dummy's theme, not napsablook. btw love your editing
Thank you I was looking for something like this lol
I definitely want to see another one of these with Gaster's theme! I've been thinking about it and I think I've heard it in a few songs, but I'm not 100% sure.
I had [strings] but now Im free
There're no strings on me...
There’s a Power Of NEO leitmotif in Big Shot
Very well done. You did some clever things there
The songs sound like mad dummy and there is so many connections!
I Was waiting for this
To me Spamton's A leitmotif sounds like a very remixed Ghost Fight/Dummy. Couple that with what sounds like a remixed Power Of Neo in leimotif B and during the Freedom leitmotif section and Spamton's overall Mettaton-ness and we have a pretty good connection. He already reminded me of a sort of corrupted Mettaton, but it's great to hear the music support that as well. Toby is a legend
Big Shot is a leitmotif factory and I love it. I know everyone heard The World Revolving, Power of Neo and all that. But I swear I here The Core theme in there too. It's like Toby uses a certain instrument in The Core, the brought it back to use in The World Revolving part. The same for the Dummy!/ Napstablook part.
At the outro part putting the speed at 0.5 seems to make it play as normal
Im still trying to get over the earthbound "OW!"
The amount of little secrets in the video really fit the theme of Spamton's character too
4:20 I love this part just because it’s heavily editing an old leitmotif to make a new one!
All of Spamton's songs have a similar feel to Dummy and Power of NEO. I really do have to give Toby props on his ability to draw connections and provide story details through musical stylings and leitmotifs. Absolute legend.
I love how the first song for Spamton is called "NOWS YOUR CHANCE TO BE A" and the song for Spamton Neo is called "BIG SHOT"
Now's your chance to be a [[BIG SHOT]], World Revolving, Battle against a true hero, and DUMMY! all play in this!
Btw, there's a bit of some of Undyne's battle music in [BIG SHOT] too, I think... Around the same time that Jevil/The World Revolving has an appearance
I was waiting for thid :)
If you pause at the right time you can see in the disclaimer “can anyone hear me? X25 and then help me”
honestly with this and the end of the snowgrave leitmotif video i hope you're starting an ARG. it might just be wishful thinking but it would be cool!
Nah, I'm not lol, they're just little details I like to add to videos. Although I am working on a Deltarune-related game right now. 😏
Power of neo and same with undye theme (genocide) play during big shot
no napstablook you’re doing amazing sweetie
00:24 behind the glitch, I see W.D Gaster
spamtons leitmotifs slap honestly
I really love you man
Big shot has like 4 songs combined in 1 song it’s so cool
i like how deal gone wrong is just spamton but slowed down lmao
Love the moments when Napstablook and Mettaton Neo appears
for those too lazy to check, at 0:04 it just says "can anyone hear me?" over and over again and "help me" at the end
the blooky cameo is so cute
I love how you plainly cut off "Spamton" as everybody has already heard it enough times to be clear about what are it's leitmotifs.
This is worth going to the library
At 3:26 if you listen carefully you can hear what I believe is Battle Against A True Hero but I could be wrong, correct me if I am
"Now's your chance to leave a gift shop"
The World Revolving also plays at the same time as the Power of NEO/Battle Against a True Hero motif
idk why but i love that when the world revolving played in BIG SHOT you put jevil in the circle
My friend kept on showing me Spamton videos, and soon enough I was like "Wait, he keeps talking about being a big shot, and I swear I listened to this one song that said it a lot?" It's finally been confirmed, I was correct to assume it was a song related to him
Spamton’s themes share some UNDERTALE leimotifs, so that makes me wonder, what other leimoifs show up in both games?
just beated spamton neo recently. it was insane. but cool. and I also didn't know that he was going to have a secret battle, just by chance the cards coincided that I came across him. I even beat him on the first try. and i'm surprised about this actually ...
Ah yes, the first three letters of the alphabet are
A
B
and
[[Clown around town]]
Note: the Song ‘Call for Help’ also has a leitmotif for ‘Big Shot’ it’s another slowed down version of it though.
I would have never known about the deal gone wrong one
The fact that Napstablook and Mettaton NEO battle songs are present makes me think that the lightner that created the machine it's actually Hapstablook (Mettaton)
A video talking about every motif used in Big Shot and where that motif has been elsewhere would be fun. Too bad it's not a thing, good thing this comment is.
-Big Shot
-Spamton
-Nows your chance to be a
-The World Revolving
-Power of Neo
-Battle Against a True Hero
-Ghost Fight
-Pathetic House
-Dummy!
-Spider Dance
-Mad Mew Mew
That should be all of them. I could very much be wrong and will edit if I get corrections. Technically every song listed above has a connection to Big Shot, whether it's Big Shot directly sampling from another song or sharing a motif that another one has.
Everyone points out the "world revolving" but not the power of neo underneath... or the dummy theme.
Guessing before watchig the vid: the name is a similar situation to Begentrücking and Nyeh Heh Heh! where the leitmotif is actually NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A (or rather just Spamton) but Big Shot was suggested more and is a more recognizable name
GodDamn. Power of NEO
God. Damn. Crazy about it
