The inclusion of "Dummy!" in Big Shot is genius. It emphasises the fact that Spamton is not free, that he's controlled by someone else. That he's just a dummy.
@@rudrodeepchatterjee its very heavily hinted in the game. In the deltarune universe, alphys never met mettaton (in this case hapstablook as he’s still a ghost) so he never got a body. In my opinion the song is it’s own thing using scraps from other songs. I have a theory that for all the secret bosses he’s gonna use the world revolving In some form. The secret bosses are all their own side story that’s arguably just as important as the main story and I love it
@@XArtfulX1 I'm not sure if this was necessary but from what I see, the motif should be called as "Freedom". Because it gives a "climactic-but-sad" taste at the same time. Skip the music and listen closely to the melody. Sound like they are crying for help but overtaked by something. That explains all of they are related to each others and presumably having some soft of impact on Kris.
It's hard to even call the lower-rated songs bad because they're *perfect* for where they belong in the game. Digital Roots amplifies the ominous atmosphere below Queen's palace. The variations on Sweet Cap'n Cake's theme are more chill versions of their battle song. Powering Up is a great little nod to sentai series with their giant combining robots. My point being, Toby makes some good-ass music and even if a track isn't anyone's fave on the ost it's still exactly what it needs to be for the game.
Even if you just started playing and stuff every movement is on beat it just feels so smooth and even if your playing defensively for the first time and are on guard when the music kicked in I like spaced out and somehow still dodged all the notes

Crazy how Spamton went from being the Number One rated salesman of 1997 to Number One in general I wish Attack of the Killer Queen placed at #1 (Love that Lena Raine worked on the song), but BIG SHOT is still pretty amazing, I love the "The World Revolving" section a LOT, and the voice sampling too I'm glad songs like It's Pronounced "Rules" and My Castle Town did well, It's Pronounced "Rules" deserves more attention in general, and I think My Castle Town is one of the most beautiful songs in all of DeltaRune

A cyber’s world really did have that “I’m finally back. I’m really playing chapter 2 of deltarune” feel to it and damn if that didn’t cause me to cry a little.
The part with Acid Tunnel Of Love was quite the surreal experience. It was on a late and quiet night playing Chapter 2 on release, I thought I was about to get to the end and my eyes were starting to get tired. Then suddenly I get on the duck and the experience is odd yet relaxing, with an equally odd track accompanying it.
Final boss theme: Chaos King --- Attack of the Killer Queen First area theme: Field of Hopes and Dreams --- A CYBER WORLD Secret boss theme: THE WORLD REVOLVING --- BIG SHOT
This gets me excited just to think there are going to be 7 chapters in Deltarune. Just thinking of all the music that is going to come with the game is giving me goosebumps.
I feel like an absolute goon for having Dialtone as my favorite track but god. It’s so good in so many aspects and every time I hear it it gives me chills. It’s so haunting
It's so lonely, with thematic motifs of freedom and abandonment enveloping an empty, melancholy melody. The telephone ringing is a reminder of times gone by, when we were [[#1 rated salesman 1997]]. Even if pathetic house was less popular, I think that nowadays every oryginal undertale leitmotif used in deltarune will score high because of nostalgia
The context is what sold it to me. It was an adorable experience finding that ingame after spending chapter 1 wondering how the heck Napstablook became a cop of all things...
It's also worth noting that the leitmotif from Pathetic House is also in 3 other songs from Undertale that are much more popular: Ghost Fight and Dummy!, which were both in the top 20 of MediaMotifs' Undertale video, and Spider Dance, which cracked the top 10.
today my best friend and I looked up some dumb and weird stuff for the hell of it in while in vc... we had a jukebox bot play Queen in the background. Made it an even more surreal experience. It's a great theme for seeing the kind of things you only see on the internet...
i find it so amazing how high KEYGEN scored, despite being the biggest joke song in the OST, even more than Dogsong, the signature joke song of the series
I know Big Shot and A Cyber's World? are people's absolute favorites, but Attack of the Killer Queen is just on another level for me. It is by far my favorite piece of music Toby has ever made.
When I heard A Cyber’s World for the first time, it hit me. It has such an amazing feel, being so high energy, and feels so different from the rest. This song is the transition between the beginning and the REAL beginning. This alone sets chapter 2 apart from chapter 1, and is an amazing start to an amazing game.
It's so strange that out of the 43 songs in this entire soundtrack, there is not a single one that I dislike even slightly. They all fit their purpose and are used so well either as leitmotifs or battle songs or ambience, and I'm so glad that we got to listen to an OST that is THIS good
A Cyber’s World has to be one of the best-executed for a game soundtrack. Going through the map listening to this music, seeing the scenery in the back, the obstacles falling to the beat of the music? I was vibing so hard
"A Cyber's World?" just caught me off guard when I first played. The attacks timed with the music already blew my mind but the sight of the city was just so good.
It definetly had the biggest impact for me as well. When it starts you know you're back after 3 years and you're in for a fun adventure. The rhythm game at the start of the song and then the drop as you see the background of the city is just the perfect mood. I just sat there listening to the song for like 10 minutes.
@@DanielDLG that’s actually something that Toby does a lot with his songs, start it simple but have a drop in it, a few examples are Heartache, Hopes and dreams, CORE, Megalovania, Finale, I could go on but I hope I made my point haha
@@penitente3337 I think the feeling its trying to convey is more "You shouldn't be here" as in, forbidden area, not the game telling you you are a bad person.
You can actually here the “Your Best Nightmare” leitmotif in “Digital Roots”. And by that I mean the whole song is the opening of f “Your Best Nightmare” slowed down and using ambiance noises. You may have already knew that so sorry but just wanted to point it out.
I think my personal favorite song is Smart Race. I love the energy and the fact that the notes don't change the speed they're played at from the original song (What I mean by this is that they retain the same note pattern, with the difference between songs resting in the tempo and time signature). Also Berdly's theme in anything is guaranteed to bring me joy.
That's a large part of _why_ it slaps so much, honestly. It's a perfect blend of recent callbacks from within the chapter, nostalgic callbacks from other tracks that relate to Spamton thematically, and just enough flash and intrigue to spin it all together into a fresh and HOT experience.
That's part of the irony, spamton desperately wants to be free but in the end even his battle theme is an amalgamation of previous themes, and not his own (besides the NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A parts of course)
@@ReneePrower Especially because the leitmotifs make a lot of sense regarding story and character. Spamton A, Spamton B, and Power of Neo are all pretty obvious, but Dummy also makes a lot of sense (even if it only appears for a second), because the dummy itself is quite literally just being puppeteered by a ghost, which has clear parallels with Spamton. Dummy also shares a leitmotif with Spider Dance (my favorite song in all of Undertale and Deltarune, by the way), which is the song that plays when you fight Muffet, who is a spider. Spiders spin webs made of a silken string that is meant to trap and ensnare, which is very similar to how Spamton NEO is controlled by strings and is, in a way, trapped (also Muffet's special battle mechanic is that she turns you purple, forcing you to be able to move only along strings). In addition to all this, the Dummy leitmotif is shared with Chill Jailbreak Alarm to Study and Relax To, which of course takes place in a jail, so again there's that theme of being trapped. Also, almost all of the songs that Dummy's leitmotif appears in have to do with ghosts, which can possess and control things, and Mettaton is also a ghost, which comes around full circle back to Mettaton NEO. Either I'm looking too deep into this, or Toby Fox is a genius, or both.
It’s a shame bluebird of misfortune got ranked so low, I personally like it. (Edit) Thank you all for the likes, really appreciate it, never really expected this much liked to be honest. Thank you all.
Spamton sounds like you went into a back alley late at night and are buying some illegal things. Which is similar to what actually happens at that part of the game.
Such a shame Ferris Wheel and Lost Girl ranked so low. The most nostalgic/honest and calming songs in the soundtrack for me, respectively. At least the banger of Pandora Palace made it big.
Well I think Ferris Wheel isn't forgetable not because it very very good, maybe because it has a long cutscene, so we heared it too much and can't forget it(but actually "welcome to the city", " a cuber's world" and queen theme didn't gave me the same effect, even though they played a lot during game)
“Dialtone” and “The Dark Truth” are a couple of my favorite tracks, and I’m decently surprised they weren’t scored lower compared to more upbeat songs. I do agree that some of the music dudes’ songs were done dirty, they’re all solid
I love dark truth! It’s a perfect fit for the cutscene it’s in and makes it so impactful! Often times when I hum Don’t Forget I’ll slip into humming Dark Truth
like the guy mentions in the video, its probably because all the music dude's songs are similar, spreading the votes amongst them and thus, ruining each other chances at a higher ranking
I’m in shock that a cybers world ranked up that high.. it was a great track to listen to as we were all at awe at the new chapter but I honestly thought AOTKQ was going to be #2.
You literally say that A Cyber's World is fascinating and a great song to start a new chapter but at the same time you say didn't expect it to be this high. How?
guys I just want yall to remember that all those legendary songs are from 2 chapters only. Imagine how will it feels when we'll get a song ranking for all chapters
I said that Omori left all other games and most narratives I hadever seen in the dust or worse, but after this released? Now that statement is a damned lie. Right now it's very *very* close to matching it. If the next few chapters are at all better than CH1, not even close to CH2, (and they should be, given that Toby is building up to a dream and managed to make this) this game will be the be all end all of videogames with messages. Literally nothing that exists will measure up to it. It will need to go to the same museum where they are showing Dwarf Fortress (another candidate for being the ultimate videogame, but of energence and simulation). Toby will go down the history of mankind. As long as A.G.I. doesn't get made unsafe and kills us.
When I first heard pandora palace, I took my time with the queen dialogue, and, perfectly timed, when the pictures spit fire at me, THEY PROCEEDED TO LAUGH DIRECTLY AFTER
Well, by the nature of ranking things, some songs are going to score low, at least in comparison to the higher scoring songs. There will always be a "worst song" no matter how good it is. All of the songs Toby makes are great, some are just better than others and definitely "should've scored higher". Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that.
@@epicgamernik76 I like them, but I get it, there is a lot of them and they are very similar. Though when they basically played Jingle Bells when Noelle entered the shop I laughed my ass off.
I love how “my castle town” reflects “empty town” from the first chapter so well, because in empty town it was just a very basic rendition of the legend and felt, well empty but my castle town feels very warm and homely since all the characters you met in the first chapter and eventually the second all inhabit the town now
"Big Shot" just goes to show how much of a musical genius Toby Fox is. The amount of subtle noises, sound effects and motifs employed in the composition gives the whole moment far more depth and energy, and reflects Spamton's character as a wasted potential celebrity, tormented by his illusions of hope for grandeur, as he attempts to emulate the spectacularity of Mettaton NEO, but twisted by Dummy's anger management issues and driven by the curse of knowing the truth of being in a false reality that caused Jevil's insanity. Absolute masterclass in video game soundtracks.
It’s a catchy song to be sure, and one that shows some of Toby’s musical genius. I just wish people would stop overusing it and the other ones, namely Megalovania and The World Revolving. I liked the songs when I first heard them, but the internet’s need to reuse the songs ruined it for me.
Yeah, this theme is really good, and it fits PERFECTLY with the scene and mood. Also, this specific song and the way it was presented made me like Spamton for good
It feels really happy but twisted at the same time almost having happiness of being set free taunting you in the song but you can really hear the dread that’s to come
even if BIG SHOT is better composed, the bouncy nature of A Cyber’s World will remain one of the reasons why I love it so much more. when you said “it was the moment i realised i was playing deltarune chapter 2”, you hit the nail on the head
Big shot was much more impactful the first time I heard it. Since it’s become just the funny theme for the funny fight, just like megalovania was. A cyber’s world will always have that original impact on me.
I don’t even think big shot is composed well, the mix is pretty hard to listen to for me, and all the callbacks to the other songs just feel thrown in. I’d rather have any other top 5 be first place haha
@@jay-el9pg they aren't thrown in, all of them are there for good reason of the context of the spamton neo fight if you think about it. that being said, it is somewhat fast paced, and I can see how that's tough to listen to for people who don't like that. Doesn't make it any less excellently composed though.
When I mean thrown in I don’t mean it doesn’t have meaning (but it just feels really forced and in your face) wow it’s mettaton neo I get it, I mean like it’s just feels like copy paste. Also by it’s mixed poorly I mean that it’s all unbalanced, the background covers the melody and the baseline is drowned out and it doesn’t really feel coherent at all compared to the rest of the song And it’s not that it’s fast paced at all, I really like almost every other chaotic fast thing Toby has made but this just sounds like a mess to me. I even really like your best nightmare, big shot just ain’t it
Some comments on the leitmotif usage: - 34:46 has a downward arpeggio, which is something that's prominent in the background of Dummy! - Both the Berdly Concept theme and A Real Boy! use Pachelbel's Canon in D - The usage of Canon in D in Berdly's old theme may have been a way to symbolize his personality, since nothing says pretentious idiot like listening to overused classical music (songs like Spring, Für Elise, Beethoven's 5th Symphony, and of course Canon in D) - The usage of Canon in D in A Real Boy! probably relates back to Canon in D and its chord progression being so common in music that it could be considered "spam" Other things that may be leitmotifs but idrk, I'm not super well versed in music theory/identifying leitmotifs (I would like someone in the replies to weigh in on this): - 34:41 sounds vaguely like a part in Dummy! but without the swing - 33:46 The group of 3 repeating notes might be referencing Canon in D but it could just be confirmation bias
I agree! I left my own comment about the second (technically first, chronologically) usage of Dummy!, and I was curious if anyone else picked up on this. Glad I'm not alone xD I also noticed the usage of Canon in D! Not surprised about the lack of mention during the Berdly concept, since its inclusion in the video was little more than a joke -- but I did find it strange that it wasn't mentioned with A Real Boy!
Personally, I find Dialtone to be amazing. It feels so melancholy without feeling forced. Just knowing Spamton, it reflects on his pathetic life, where he was able to become a big shot before he fell back down to the bottom and was desperate for some kind of freedom, even though it ended up being his demise. I find the song even more melancholy than Lost Girl, just by knowing Spamton and how he died, pathetic and still a puppet, with that phone ringing in the background, that phone call that gave him his first, smooth taste of [H e a v e n], as he would put it.
I am so glad that Knock You Down, the song with a retro arcade beat em up theming, has multiples of 5 for all of their counts, and it all adds up to a multiple of 10. It just massages my brain so well...
at first faint courage didnt stay with me all that much, but the more i listened to it, the more i liked it, it happens with a few songs i like and those ones are usually some of the best ones
Faint Courage just annoyed me in game. Like I KNOW I LOST TO SPAMTON NEO! NO NEED TO REPEAT IT A MILLION TIMES AND MAKE ME HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY TO THE FOUNTAIN TO BE GREETED BY THE *SSHOLE! YOU COULD'VE MADE IT EASIER BUT "Ha ha, make the people that don't want spoilers lose their sanity over trying to get the ending!" NO F*CKING BRAKES FOR ME WHO GOT UNDERTALE AND DELTARUNE CHAPTER 1 SPOILED BECAUSE OF MY IMPATIENT SELF! But Faint Courage is good in game. Not the best but good.
@@katedp7825 yeah definitely one of the main aspects of hating a song is repetition and you also don't really listen to the song on it's own that much since you just skip it, so it's understandable but I also didn't think it was that good but after listening to it again I definitely think it was better than what I thought before.
I love how the numbers on the top left change to spamton’s eye colors whenever there’s a song related to him. Great video! I’m also really happy that “it’s pronounced rules”, “smart race” and “pandora palace” are all ranked so high, those are my favorites. it was one of the two songs that were leaked 2 years ago (alongside welcome to the city), so it really hits me and makes me emotional. it made me emotional when i first ever heard it, much less finally hearing it in context
Ferris Wheel makes me feel like I'm a small child again, looking at the big city from a window somewhere high up. It's such a sincere track, I always feel the urge to cry and smile at the same time whenever I hear it.

Literally every track containing a version of Queen’s theme is golden. Pandora Palace, Elegant Entrance, Queen, and Attack of The Killer Queen being my personal favorites.
Fun fact: Shayy, one of if not the most famous Undertale and Deltarune speedrunners, had a run where he somehow glitched Cool Mixtape to play on loop well after it should have ended. It played until he got booted back to the main menu. Hearing it over stuff like Knock You Down and The Dark Truth was an experience
I love how all the spamton themes have their numbers colored like his glasses. Really nice touch!! :) Also i really love the voting system, having multiple ways to vote feels like it gives songs more of a chance to rank higher
deltarune chapter 2 was such an insane experience. the entire atmosphere was life changing. i don't know how toby fox is gonna top this in the next chapter.
I noticed that as well; a lovely detail indeed. xD There are a couple of funny moments like that, as well as at least one glitch that I noticed. The background footage was definitely carefully curated, and it's the little details like that which elevate a video from good to great.
26:59 Pandora palace will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember coming from some long trip to the carwash and sitting down, seeing on my phone that deltarune chapter 2 was out and Failboat was streaming it. I joined right when Failboat finished the entrance light puzzle, and this song started blaring. It was raining softly outside, so the song was great with the sound of rain lightly hitting the window. Modern classic.
The track A Real Boy! just eviscerates me emotionally whenever I hear it, knowing what happens after and the real tragedy of the situation. Edit: Ferris Wheel got done dirty tf. Like yeah Lost Girl is better but damn 24?
It hurts a little when comments with effort put into them get such a small amount of likes but just quoting the video gets you thousands (although that didn't happen in this video tbf)
Funfact : Welcome to the City uses the same melody as 74 by Itoki Hana, which just happens to have been written by Toby Fox (who also provides backing vocals)
Big Shot is literally the most talked about Deltarune chapter 2 song ever other than probably most of the top ten. Id love to see a comparison on which people think is better out of Megalovania, Field of Hopes and Dreams and Big shot. Seeing as they all won their respective lists.
What makes me sad is that the song that plays in the hospital on snowgrave route isn’t on the official OST. It kind of makes sense, like how the ominous wind that plays when you reach the end of genocide in undertale isn’t on its OST, but it’s such a good and absolutely chilling song that it really deserves to be on the playlist P.s. I think it’s called ‘flashback’ if you want to find it
Can we talk about how Knock You Down perfectly encapsulates the SNES music feel? It honestly sounds like it'd fit well in a Mega Man X game as the boss theme.
I honestly feel like Toby played the Punch Out games during the development of Deltarune and was mad that there weren't any new games so he said "I'll do it myself"
i love how the only leitmotifs in BIG SHOT are himself and jevil and the ghosts from undertale, where i like to draw the connection between them is that spamton is a puppet, imprisoned by the strings, thus relating to jevil who is also imprisoned, and then to the ghosts as the ghosts are inhabiting and taking control of the bodies they have chosen, like a puppeteer controling a puppet

Hi I'm David Spam! Introducing the new KITCHEN GUN!!
Even in undertale's over 100 songs, I still don't think there's a single bad one
Totally agree with that, I think every song is perfect in its context

I think my personal favorite song is Smart Race. I love the energy and the fact that the notes don't change the speed they're played at from the original song (What I mean by this is that they retain the same note pattern, with the difference between songs resting in the tempo and time signature). Also Berdly's theme in anything is guaranteed to bring me joy.
I find it kinda funny that big shot slaps so hard, when it's 80% leitmotifs

Well, by the nature of ranking things, some songs are going to score low, at least in comparison to the higher scoring songs. There will always be a "worst song" no matter how good it is. All of the songs Toby makes are great, some are just better than others and definitely "should've scored higher". Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that.

my castle town really is a more fleshed out version of empty town with some bits added to the front and back.
Great ranking! My personal favorite is "My Castle Town", I get goosebumps everytime I listen to it :)

I really like “A real boy!” It’s such a happy theme that describes Spamtons feelings so well just to be cut off when he falls weak to the ground
Come on don't remind of that, I'm gonna cry
Yeah, this theme is really good, and it fits PERFECTLY with the scene and mood. Also, this specific song and the way it was presented made me like Spamton for good
ooof
A real boy was underrated
It feels really happy but twisted at the same time almost having happiness of being set free taunting you in the song but you can really hear the dread that’s to come
I appreciate the added little detail of “Dialtone” looping at 11:20 to create Gaster’s motif, really nice touch.
holy shit ur right
OH THAT'S WHY HE DID THAT
Holy shit that's so cool
And this song reminds me «Song of wrong number» from Undertale.
Holy shit
A fun fact for “Giga Size” you can actually see the giant mech from inside the palace at various points
Well when the mech was introduced she did say "how did you fail to notice the giant freaking robot in the middle of my mansion?"
the fact that people have so many different favourites shows just how good the soundtrack actually is in my opinion

even if BIG SHOT is better composed, the bouncy nature of A Cyber’s World will remain one of the reasons why I love it so much more. when you said “it was the moment i realised i was playing deltarune chapter 2”, you hit the nail on the head
Also by it’s mixed poorly I mean that it’s all unbalanced, the background covers the melody and the baseline is drowned out and it doesn’t really feel coherent at all compared to the rest of the song
And it’s not that it’s fast paced at all, I really like almost every other chaotic fast thing Toby has made but this just sounds like a mess to me. I even really like your best nightmare, big shot just ain’t it
I love A Cyber's World but fuck me, I was wrong for making it my alarm ringtone. Now my flight or fight triggers whenever I hear it.
When A CYBER'S WORLD? Beat dropped I actually had to get up because I was so excited, probably the most hype moment in the game so far
oh cool I was not the only one
Finally someone who also likes “A Cyber World”, it’s just too underrated for its own good.
The fact that even the good songs are low in this tier really does show Deltarune has such great music
idk why, but i like "now's your change to be a" more than "Big shot"
it fit soo well with spamton's chaotic and goofy character
I just realised those songs finish each othwrs sentences
Me too
"Spamton" OST fits even more his character
@@kryniuxofficial587 Spamton is pretty much just the intro to "Now's your chance to be a" it's a slower, calmer version
yeah, me too
Some comments on the leitmotif usage:
- 34:46 has a downward arpeggio, which is something that's prominent in the background of Dummy!
- Both the Berdly Concept theme and A Real Boy! use Pachelbel's Canon in D
- The usage of Canon in D in Berdly's old theme may have been a way to symbolize his personality, since nothing says pretentious idiot like listening to overused classical music (songs like Spring, Für Elise, Beethoven's 5th Symphony, and of course Canon in D)
- The usage of Canon in D in A Real Boy! probably relates back to Canon in D and its chord progression being so common in music that it could be considered "spam"
Other things that may be leitmotifs but idrk, I'm not super well versed in music theory/identifying leitmotifs (I would like someone in the replies to weigh in on this):
- 34:41 sounds vaguely like a part in Dummy! but without the swing
- 33:46 The group of 3 repeating notes might be referencing Canon in D but it could just be confirmation bias
I agree! I left my own comment about the second (technically first, chronologically) usage of Dummy!, and I was curious if anyone else picked up on this. Glad I'm not alone xD
I also noticed the usage of Canon in D! Not surprised about the lack of mention during the Berdly concept, since its inclusion in the video was little more than a joke -- but I did find it strange that it wasn't mentioned with A Real Boy!
The berdly’s theme rip used in the video was actually made by Siivagunner, the original doesn’t use the canon in d leitmotif
The music is so simple and empty and that's what makes it fit perfectly
Agreed completely, I don't even have anything to add.
Completely agree
I am so glad that Knock You Down, the song with a retro arcade beat em up theming, has multiples of 5 for all of their counts, and it all adds up to a multiple of 10. It just massages my brain so well...
Faint Courage and Faint Glow are criminally underrated.
at first faint courage didnt stay with me all that much, but the more i listened to it, the more i liked it, it happens with a few songs i like and those ones are usually some of the best ones
They *fainted*
@@katedp7825 yeah definitely one of the main aspects of hating a song is repetition and you also don't really listen to the song on it's own that much since you just skip it, so it's understandable but I also didn't think it was that good but after listening to it again I definitely think it was better than what I thought before.
alright let's be fair
half the players never heard faint courage
I love how the numbers on the top left change to spamton’s eye colors whenever there’s a song related to him. Great video! I’m also really happy that “it’s pronounced rules”, “smart race” and “pandora palace” are all ranked so high, those are my favorites. Oh and one more thing, wasn’t castle town played in undertale’s 5th anniversary last year? It says 6th anniversary in the video. Also congrats on 30k! This is a very crammed comment I will stop editing now
Thanks, and yeah, the anniversary thing is a mistake on my part.

Sorta wish Lost Girl scores higher, it’s just so… nice to listen to
it was one of the two songs that were leaked 2 years ago (alongside welcome to the city), so it really hits me and makes me emotional. it made me emotional when i first ever heard it, much less finally hearing it in context
Along with my castle town, both of them are so therapeutical and beautiful...
Ferris Wheel makes me feel like I'm a small child again, looking at the big city from a window somewhere high up. It's such a sincere track, I always feel the urge to cry and smile at the same time whenever I hear it.
I also think that it's perfect for the scene that is happening between Noelle and Susie. Toby Fox is just amazing!
This list really shows off that it's not just the song, but the context it played in that makes it memorable
I’m sad to see that acid tunnel of love scored so low and nobody is talking about it. The song fits the scene really well and it’s just a beautiful song especially the end of it.
yeah, the end notes where it kinda sounds almost lobby music-like is soooo good
edit: spelling
@@poisonplant4225 I like both soothing music and energetic music but yeah, I guess some people would choose that kind over songs like acid tunnel. I would have voted my castle town too but I was too late.
Ok it’s a great song, BUT WHEN SPEEDRUNNING, lemmie tell you, if it wasnt for that part, the record would be like, 35 minutes for glitchless Normal route
People are secretly avoiding spoiling Omori's *Raft Room*. But it's a great song
Cyber's world instantly makes me feel safe. The wonder and excitement, the familiarity and comfort. Walking right and seeing those neon lights will always be a meaningful moment.
And the slight mystery and sadness when the The Circus part comes in
Dude, giga size is extremely underrated. The part where the harpsichord starts is the best.
Too bad the cutscene doesn't really allow you to listen to the better half

I love how Card Castle's theme had an intense theme, the inverse of Pandora Palace.

What makes me sad is that the song that plays in the hospital on snowgrave route isn’t on the official OST. It kind of makes sense, like how the ominous wind that plays when you reach the end of genocide in undertale isn’t on its OST, but it’s such a good and absolutely chilling song that it really deserves to be on the playlist
P.s. I think it’s called ‘flashback’ if you want to find it
same with call for help, it's not on the ost
Although Long Elevator is on the soundtrack, I don’t think that one makes sense at all.
If you want know the truth about it,reverse it.
There was also that one theme which I think was called Noelle's Realisation which just hit different

Can we talk about how Knock You Down perfectly encapsulates the SNES music feel? It honestly sounds like it'd fit well in a Mega Man X game as the boss theme.
You should check out the SNES Power Rangers OST it perfectly encapsulates the feeling

i love how the only leitmotifs in BIG SHOT are himself and jevil and the ghosts from undertale, where i like to draw the connection between them is that spamton is a puppet, imprisoned by the strings, thus relating to jevil who is also imprisoned, and then to the ghosts as the ghosts are inhabiting and taking control of the bodies they have chosen, like a puppeteer controling a puppet
