it was driving me crazy to see the camera go with the hero, but it's a transition point for many people who play Lol and want to try Dota, so better that than the community stagnating and not having any growth.
All things considered, youre playing really well for a newcomer. I also see a lot of people coming to dota from many other games. Hope everyone enjoyed the game.

@yoncreator What Riot tries to avoid, Valve eggs on, and I love it. From toxic chat wheels, announcers swearing, allowing players to tip others currency, it really just becomes part of the fun. Barely anybody complains about it because you'd be a killjoy 🤣
@@Mr_Fr34ky Definitely a fan of the different cultures and game design attitudes of both games. As a player I just get to enjoy cool different MOBAs and different flavors in both league and dota!

Absolutely love dimplethedragon's videos and his journey into dota! I have a lot of respect and love for dota and I hope you'll stick around to see more of my journey! I'm cooking up more awesome stuff releasing very soon :)
1. through and through is more popular talent since you can deal double damage with your shuriken by tossing it to a target behind tracked unit.(and you can farm creeps easier) 2. best thing bounty hunter can do in lane is killing opponents courier repeatedly. therefore you should always start with an observer ward so you can see enemy couriers movement. 3. you can build literally any item with bounty hunter. just buy whatever required.
For sure, I could definitely feel it in some games when I was behind on BH. It definitely felt like I was "doing nothing useful." In the games were I could help snowball it was one of the most fun Dota I ever played!
Counterpoint: BH is annoying to fight against when pushing highground. Every death from your team makes the game harder, thus making the lead you made from early-mid game useless.
Nice games! A team with bounty hunter can afford to team deathmatch mid because they are actually getting a stupid amount of gold from Track to compensate for the loss of gold for not farming the other lanes. It's immense pressure that demands an answer from the enemy team, but it also just snowballs your team out of control because they are so fed on Track gold that they can steamroll the opponents in a head on 5v5. The problem is when you're not allowed to get track kills which then loses a lot of Bounty Hunter's team contribution.
Wow, amazing comment I didn't even think about the macro implications of having a BH on the team! All I was focused on was getting my bouncy shurikens to steal as much gold LOL. That's a great point, and this helps me better understand the overall compositional advantage of a BH team! Thank you for an insightful comment!
Honestly bounty hunter is an insane hero for winning pubs, mostly at low rank Even al high rank it's still hella annoying, the drawback of it is people will be much more aware of you and buy invis detection, and get wands early to get free regen with your shuriken spam, so in those cases you'd rather play more tactically, starting with invis, sniping couriers and blocking camps, so you force them to move out of their lanes
@@yoncreator and enchantress have a good chemistry with Bounty Hunter, since Bounty Hunter provide vision of enemy with his ultimate, even high ground or trees cant hide them
You don't need your 3rd skill in early phase, just max the Jinada and Shuriken then just buy boots, BH has high armor, instead of passive play. you can play aggressive with that build. then buy Urn/Vessel and Meka for heal after an aggressive trade. you can just ups your shadow walk later for scouting gank. BH is way better with aggressive play because of his high damage in early game.
Now that you're starting to understand the bounce, you should try playing with the other facet. It makes Shuriken deal damage to everyone it touches while bouncing, you'll make less gold but you'll do significantly more damage in teamfights.
I think you're absolutely right. Using that facet in teamfights seems so crazy and deadly. I think it's probably stronger facet in the long run and changes outcome of fights whereas the cutpurse facet is small gains over time but doesn't have that big of an impact in a single moment because I'm stealing such small amounts of gold
@@yoncreator the pass through facet actually doesn't do all that much more damage in fights most of the time, except for in very rare cases. Instead, it's a way to more quickly farm creep waves between fights. Cut purse is much easier to take advantage of in teams with less coordination going on.
Don't play Core Bounty Hunter, mid heroes need to provide value to the team as soon as possible to set the tempo of the match in order to out speed your opponent's timings. Bounty Hunter cannot take objectives, cannot farm and provides no control or team fight presence outside of tracking for the damage amp. If your team loses their sidelines the game is incredibly difficult because you rely on snowballing track kills to get value. Your goal on a Bounty Hunter should always be to assassinate enemy supports, track dangerous hero movements and to scout kills for heroes like Spectre, Dawnbreaker, Zeus or Nature's Prophet who can globally join you while punishing carries who farm away from their team. Don't fall for the 1v9 meme that is core Bounty Hunter, it gives the hero a bad reputation. It's important to note you TAX the enemy as a hero who has access to invisibility, if they want to kill you they need to buy Dust of Appearance or place a ward in advance of your arrival. It's all wasted gold on a Support who doesn't initiate and only really pops off once he gets 4-5 track kills in quick succession.
Dont ever take Cutpurse, its a trap. Eventually with some understanding of the map, how space is created, wave manipulation and how to abuse the bounce mechanic you'll realise how much more value you get from being able to nuke waves. In games where the enemy is reactive to your presence your 12 gold from cutpurse is going to feel awful compared to "ratting" waves on the enemy side of the map to draw them back. Double proccing your Shuriken damage on an enemy support by casting it to something BEHIND them provides so, so much early game damage and basically guarantees kills. Bounty's invis isn't the best but at early levels (before the Bounty Rune, the first 2 levels) you have crazy kill threat when sentries aren't down. With a Blood Grenade, an Orb of Venom and two invis stuns you can 0-100 most support heroes if they're walking to lane from the Bounty Runes. If you like heroes that naturally tend to have lots of gold and are fairly mobile like Bounty Hunter I'd recommend Nyx Assassin, Nature's Prophet, Spirit Breaker or Hoodwink, theyre all fairly high impact support heroes who have lots of map presence and can gank very well. If you like brawling, fighting and ganking Tusk or Earth Spirit are challenging, high-skill heroes who offer a LOT of skill expression.
You're definitely opening my mind with the shurken bounce from behind them + the shurikfen facet. I'm definitely going to be experimenting more with this in the future. It's so funny you mentioned those heroes because from your list I've experimented with Nyx, NP, and Hoodwink and they're all incredibly fun for me. Haven't really tried much Spirit Breaker, but facing against him he seems quite strong. I definitely enjoy playing "playmaker" supports with map presence when I play pos4 as it helps me snowball games, and I feel very powerful making moves around the map. Thank you so much for the character recommendations and hope you'll stick around to see more Dota content. I'll definitely be putting your hero recommendations into my video ideas list!
@@yoncreator Another slept on tip about Bounty is that Track also provides economic information on the enemy. If you don't kill them, track will show you their farming pattern, which you can then intercept if they don't dispel or react to your debuff. You can figure out where wards are placed if the enemy "hovers" around a certain area when they're tracked (they're playing safe, under vision). You know you're having a great game on any invis hero when the enemy pops 4 dusts to kill you because you rewarded their sentries or already know where they all are, it's an amazing feeling. You can also tell how much gold the enemy has by alt clicking the debuff with their hero selected, you can tell who does and doesn't have buyback but gauging how much money they have
Even though I love Pyke, I think Bounty Hunter is objectively way more interesting in terms of his abilities and game mechanics. The track ultimate is just absolutely wild and super cool to see in the game. I wish League would have more interesting / non damage ult abilities like this!

Lmao I cannot stress this enough, people who play bountyhunter keep maxing jinada and trying so hard to land a hit. When instead you could use your 85 mana - targeted - 310 damage nuke to steal gold.
Agree Q build is way better, but I still feel like the other facet is better with it. Cut purse scales with ult, so stealing 4 Gold in lane whenever you Q feels useless. With through and through you can farm jungle if your carry is fine in lane and you can get cheeky double Q hits in on the enemy laners. Way better than stealing a bit of gold in lane imo. Once you start stealing more gold Track already grants you so much gold that the cut purse gold really isn't needed anymore.
