One of the weirder classes in Brotato 1.0, the pacifist tries to win without spilling any blood. Here's the best build and playstyle to make that happen!
I just finished my first run with Pacifist and never thought how incredible Speed is. Nobody could touch me. I remember for future runs not to neglect it.
6:41 Math does not check out. Level 1 and level 2 hands are the ones that are most efficient. Level 3 is a very inefficient hand and a level 4 hand is an efficient upgrade of the inefficient level 3 hand, keeping it pretty inefficient. Level 1 hand = Level 1 hand, Level 1 hand = 3 harvesting, 3/1 = 3 Level 2 hand ~ 2 level 1 hands, Level 2 hand = 6 harvesting, 6/2 = 3 Level 3 hand ~ 4 level 1 hands, Level 3 hand = 9 harvesting, 9/4 = 2.25 Level 4 hand ~ 8 level 1 hands, Level 4 hand = 18 harvesting, 18/8 = 2.25
At 18:39 you bought Ugly Tooth. But wanted to mention you overlooked it earlier on at 3:54 . Unique items sometimes aren't Unique weirdly enough. Great video!
Thanks very much! yes, I definitely should have mentioned it, but I think seeing it that early I probably passed on it deliberately, since in the first few shops you're really concerned with getting your weapon set and core stats online, so later-game focused items should sometimes be ignored. And yeah as you say, uniques can still show up when you pass them - it just means you can't buy two of them. That's one reason it's generally good to buy uniques, pulling them out of the shop pool by buying them improves your future shops.
Is there actually any point in upgrading your Hands past like Wave 12? Does the extra harvesting ever catch up to how much you're investing in extra Hands by that point?
If I'm not mistaken, you don't benefit from Gentle Alien's increased enemy spawns because the enemy cap starts being reached pretty much every wave past wave 5ish. It would be nice if despawned enemies also counted towards the Pacifist's income.
Started this class for the first time and a few waves in I think to myself "wait.. how am I going to kill the boss" I didn't get the chance to even try
Good question! I mention in my item tier list that I think boxing glove is a waste of money even for pacifist; +3 knockback is only a 10% increase over the 30 the hand already gives you, and that 30 is more than enough already to keep enemies off you. To be honest I think they could buff that item to +10 or +15 knockback without it ever being a problem (and I still mostly wouldn't buy it)
Don’t you still get more money from killing enemies? I got the wave 20 elites down to half health when I tried to make a damage focused pacifist. Took about 30 tries
I was able to beat the pacifist with pruners, using the pruners to have health all over the field to regenerate health, allowing to focus on speed and dodge.
New player here, i absolutely HATE this character!!! Im nearing completing a run with ALL characters & this one sucks imo! Ive failed twice already, its so unintuitve!!! Literally dying on "0" difficulty coz of playing the character correctly, as in LOADS of unkilled enemies. Am i meant to kill some or what?
Just watching that video and since you asked about video ideas - one thing which would be very cool would be a video on how to set up manual aim and how to utilize it efficiently. I know that it exists but I don't really know how to set it up and when to utilize it/how it even really works :) Also, why exactly does it make sense to take gentle alien with this class (since you never kill enemies anyway)? Is there any benefit apart from the max hp?
I like that idea! I should really cover settings and stuff for the game at some point. You take gentle alien because you gain materials for every living enemy at the end of the wave, so it still increases your income (there's some confusion i think about whether the ones that despawn because you've hit the unit cap count, but I think they do)
I don't think you can manual aim on Xbox. On other games like this, The right stick will override the auto aim but it doesn't seem to do anything for this one. And I just can't get past this class.
I haven't played on xbox, but I know manual aiming isn't available on mobile. On PC, you have to go into settings and turn on "Manual aim on mouse press," so maybe that's an option on xbox also?
I really only play this on mobile sadly, so I still don't have access to the renegade or king. Finally getting fisherman this week is awesome for his item lol but my biggest thing is when you bring up the manual targeting. On mobile, there is no manual targeting, so pacifist is even MORE frustrating to play lol same goes for engi builds where you just constantly smack enemies directly into yourself. Also don't have this circle attacks boss you got on wave 12
You could Do A Run Where you Roll the Dice On what to Pick or Do with the Skills If you skip or try to pick all the Traits up that would be Fun not Knowing if the Dice Messes your game up or Rewards you.
@@Cephalopocalypse Yeah I just Randomly came to your chanell you could mindstorm all kinds of Ideas the Random Part is for when you know how to beat the game but want no influence on the Traits.
It's definitely tough! You really have to think about the game very differently. It's all about getting your economy running so you can afford the defensive stats you need.
Never thought that there would be a pacifist tato in this game, thought this to be a mad impossibility 😮 Nicely done!
There's a lot of cool character designs in this game and they sometimes play really differently. It's a very simple game but executed very well imo
dude is the faster open palm slapper in the west
This was super helpful and was able to get to 35 on my next try after watching this 🙏🏻
Thanks for all your guides makes easier to enjoy the game
Thank you. Only character I was having difficulty with and nailed ot first time after watching this.
I just finished my first run with Pacifist and never thought how incredible Speed is. Nobody could touch me. I remember for future runs not to neglect it.
I got adrenaline on a run and I was able to practically stand still for round 20. Great guide, thanks!!
I really love your guide videos. Your explaination is always on point
Thanks so much! Glad they're helping and I appreciate the kind words! :D
Thought I would never get through that. Fortunately got lucky on the hands and harvesting and finally got the win. Thank you for all your help!
Nice, congrats! Glad the guide helped :D
Great vid. This series is pure gold
Thanks for the guide man! Really enjoyed the video and thanks to you, now I beat it with pacifist 😄

Level 4 hand ~ 8 level 1 hands, Level 4 hand = 18 harvesting, 18/8 = 2.25
Learned so much that was unrelated to the specific walkthrough 👍
Thanks to your explained walkthrough i was able to complete pacifist run.
Awesome, glad to hear it helped!
You dont stop enemies from spawning if you stay on the X marked spot. They just spawn somewhere different at random i think.

I had never considered that, but that's probably true! A rare case where gentle alien may not be the best item in the game - good catch!
@barkeddog despawned enemies do count

On a few levels you had the chance to buy Boxing Glove (+3 knockback) is there a reason you didn't?

@@Cephalopocalypse +15 would probably open for very different builds, like SMGs and minigun. Could be great for the soldier.

This worked for me, i got two penguins early on so it was pretty much free
Have you done Cyborg yet? I'd like to see that one. I liked it when I tried it out, but I felt like I was missing something
Haha, perfect timing - that was literally today's video :D

How do you get shield I'm on pc is it a mod
Unlock it by winning with Masochist - for a full list and what order to do that in, see my Unlock Order Guide ;)

I Did it first try back with manual aiming. Lol Thanks again. Last one for me is fisherman.@@Cephalopocalypse
You could’ve at least pushed back that giant wave on wave one
I did well with 2 red tasers and 4 red hands… but i was just trying to survive past 20rnd.. achievement hunting
Nice😂 gagged on the mic

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought about how different controls must be on mobile and how much harder that makes some characters. I believe in you though!
2nd last charcter on danger 5 for me thanks to your videos.
But i play on mobile so knock back sucks and manual aim isnt a thing.
I'll try full on damage pacifist...
it's a hard and annoying road.
i did succeed but in danger 4

So Imagine For A Trait you need to sell a Weapon to Obtain It
Well that’s lame. I usually end up repairing my damage and playing normally after wave 12 or so…
This looks way to easy for what it is, they destroyed me on Danger 2 in the mid-late game
Passafist is broken
I still suck at brotato
this class sucks the most, still can't do it
