All the locals and other travelers told me not to embark on this trip because I would get stuck! Challenge accepted. 😊😊 I WANTED TO HITCHHIKE A LOOP starting from Naryn to Tash Rabat and then down to the Chinese border, and from there to Kel-Suu - one of Kyrgyzstan's most beautiful lakes! I don’t want to lie: I have never struggled so much while hitchhiking. Get comfortable and enjoy watching all the unpredictable adventures that occurred in these 4 days. 🙏🏻😊
In this video, I make it with the help of many lovely Kyrgyz truck drivers to my first destination: the stone caravanserai, Tash Rabat, that made me feel like a merchant back from the Silk Road times.

Valerie, you are such an expert and talented hitchhiker! Probably the result of years of practice hitchhiking on the German autobahns…😂😂😂 Just kidding. If you come one day to the US, please don’t even think about hitchhiking. The cars are much less rustic than in Kirghistan, but it would be way too dangerous. Too many crazies in this country.

No one in their right mind would think of hitchhiking in the US if they watched any world news network. Too many guns, serial killers, and domestic terrorists.
