Do you know any "non binary" people?
Nobody does
Yes. One got mad at me tho one time because I say looking androgynous would work in their favor instead expecting strangers to know their pronouns.
I still support non-binary ppl but I don't understand expecting strangers to know you go by they/them pronouns when you look like a man or a woman.
Nope, nor do I want to. As an adult I no longer believe in things that aren't real.
Love your videos Marcus, your bitchiness is phenomenal
@@dynamitesparkles1457Why Support Them
Yup. Used to be romantically interested in a girl that was super freaking cute. We got separated and 2 years later she started claiming she is now “non binary”, changed her name, got piercings and cut her hair super short. I was devastated that she bought into this notion that there is some “third gender” when it reality it is just a coping mechanism to deal with trauma/bad experiences being a boy or girl.
She didn’t seem all too happy before but seemed even worse after. So clearly it didn’t help. In the end, I’m sad she is ruining her own life for no reason but I’m glad I have my shit straight and gave her plenty of advice she will eventually learn was valuable.
I miss the 2000s when no one wanted to be labeled
Seriously, I feel like we were on the road to something really great, the 'your gender doesn't matter, do whatever you want' mindset, but then those kids took over, made a fucking u turn and crashed the car into a pile of shit and sexism.
Yes we were only dealing with adhd, impulse control, autism, riitalin, bullying & behavioral issues & labels ..this is how they grew🙄😢😭💔💔
I miss the 1980s when the most offensive thing was massive shoulder pads!
Yes, I remember we all said that we didn't need labels. We were just ourselves. I miss that
@@IShoePets I think there's a difference between wanting to find a group of people who share your interests in music and style and making up hundreds of genders because you think you're too cool and complex to be a girl.
You're right of course, but one of those things is harmful and the other is not.
As Blaire White said, one of the most humbling things you come to realize as an adult is that people don’t really think about you as much… apparently some adults still need to learn this.
that's the way the real world is. nobody Really cares about how you want to come off as unless if you're going about it in a very narcissitic childish way of course they're going to dislike you
The most dehumanizing thing is call dudes in a drag real women and it entitled then to invade our space.
We'll just ignore how problematic Blaire White has been.
@@blobbertmcblob4888 He is kissing arse now but before that he was a misogynist in a wig like most of them are. He either matured or realized his petty child like behavior doesn't get him anywhere so he changed his behavior.

"Non binary" seems to be the latest version of the 'I've liberated myself from reality" movement.
Malignant narcissist.
Definitely feels like it at times here 👀
Facts.
Sort off "I freed my mind and it floated away."
One question? If you liberate urself from reality do you no longer have to pay bills?! If so I think I can be nonbinary lol
these people shame me all the time for "looking like a boy and refusing to identify as trans", they won't allow me to be a tom boy, which I've never been shamed or blamed for near as much as nowadays in 45 years of life
Feminism teaches that anything man can do woman can too. We want men to embrace their feelings and not be afraid of having a softer side. Then we slap labels on kids after teaching them these activities are genderless, depending on what they prefer and based on their gender. It's ridiculous and hypocritical. Call them fascists. How dare they tell you what and how you should identify as?
Or just start intentionally misgendering them until they get triggered enough to ask why you'd do something so horrible. Then explain. I'm so glad I'm not growing up around these kids, I can only imagine how they try to twist enjoying 'boys' activities into a desire to be a boy. I never once doubted my gender or femininity...I just didn't embrace it because as a child make-up and dress-up weren't as fun to me as riding bikes or dirt-clod wars.
Simple, they are crazy and you're not.
You be you. Don’t let anyone tell you who that is or what that is. Stay strong
I'm a former tom boy nearly twice your age. Happily had two children, and now own but one skirt which I never wear. When I was young, I wanted the agency that I perceived boys to have, and did my best to join in games. In my heart of hearts, I can't say I've changed much or regretted much. So, dear one, stay well and do as you damn well please.
46yo here. I'm still a tomboy. I love dirt and mud. I fix vehicles. I wear pants and men's Carhartt tee shirts (my husband and I share them). I do wear sandals only because I hate shoes. I keep my hair short, don't wear makeup, and my single piece of jewelry is my wedding ring. I don't try to hide my female body. I've been misgendered and I don't care. I know who and what I am, and I'm comfortable with the way I am. Be the tomboy, be the outdoors type, keep playing whatever sports make you happy, keeping doing you! Everyone else will adjust or they don't have to be in your life.
It seems that personality traits and fashion taste is being confused with gender.
Sometimes I dress like a forest witch and some days I dress like Chunk from Goonies 🤷♀️ still a woman either way.
It honestly seems quite a bit sexist if you think about it for a second lol. "I like these things, therefore I can't be a woman!" etc.
@@Ilivedbihoh it is. And they short circuit if you say so.
I'd go so far as to speculate a lack of personality is why their gender/identity/race/orientation becomes their entire personality. Heaven forbid you just dislike somebody, oh no. It must be gender/identity/race/orientation based hatred, because they have nothing other layer or facet to be disliked for.
Excellent!
So, on “Chunk” days your pronouns would be HEY/YOU/GUYS…??💋
I find it funny how they're all about no labels and yet they introduce themselves with so many labels, lol.
Yes, my cousin. She says "Don't call me she/girl!"
I was like "Our language does not even have gender pronouns, you child"
What language is that?
Exactly. In my language there is the same pronoun for both genders. So anyone who says that she/he is a they/them it's total bullshit. (It's always tho) but like such crazy bullshit because we dont use she and he....

Growing up, I was your typical tomboy. Now, as an adult I am a mother to 5 girls and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I also work full time and love to go camping and hunting. You can be whatever kind of female or male that makes you happy, just don't expect me to call you something that doesn't exist.
I really enjoy your channel as well as how truthful you are.
Yes 🙌
Remember when you could have short hair as a girl and no one was screeching "gay" or "trans" at you?
Kids born in the 90s remember.
I was a pure tomboy growing up and I still knew I was female, I just liked typically "boy" things as well. Now it means you must be "in the wrong body".
Nowadays you will be gaslighted into thinking you're trans just because you're not feminine..
Oh my, if this was going on back in the 2000s so many teens would be told they are trans or non binary, nobody wanted a label!!!!
I live in SF & gay and I can’t understand when the new trans activists tell people is not their job to teach/inform people on gender identity or what is the definition of a woman. But they tell/teach people that they were misgendered and their pronouns are they/them.
so it’s ok to teach people what pronouns to use when misgendered but not ok to teach people about how many genders there are and why genders can keep changing.
Make it make sense, please.
They don’t wanna “educate others on their identity” but really think normal everyday working people care enough to spend hours of research on it… 🙄
I always interpret "I'm not here to educate you" with "I don't have a valid argument so I'm refusing to engage"

Back in 1930, Marlene Dietrich could wear a tailored tuxedo and no one was confused by her "gender performance" ("Blue Angel").
What a dame. Great gams too.
back then the issue was people still knew Marlene was Marlene. There was no sociopolitical activism behind it. There was no Marlene today, Marboro man tomorrow going on. Totally different. Performance art has always had some element of subverting expectations but it wasn't about changing society back then. Bugs Bunny was still bugs bunny by end of the cartoon. Not anymore.
What a goddess. There were so many beautiful and strong actresses in the day. Katherine Hepburn is another example.
And she looked ten thousand times better
Also Katherine Hepburn. She was a straight woman, but sometimes wore men's clothes. Looked hot in them, too. But she wasn't trans, just a creative fashion icon.

Or maybe after decades of slaughter and violence against lgbtq they finally have a place in the world where they can speak their truth. Not to mention lgbtq people are still being killed every day. All because they wanted to express themselves. Its our right we get to talk about ourselves now after all that terror. It happens to me. I'm a man with a doll collection. It is insane how many people insist that I must be non-binary because I have a doll collection. It's exhausting.

I thought I was "non-binary" when I saw the term on the internet when I was around 17-20. Turns out - it was good old fashioned internalised sexism and homophobia (I am bi and living in an Eastern European country, not the best place for tolerance). Years later I am a very happy woman who can "present" in whatever way I want. I am happy that I live in a country when this craze is not in. Otherwise, I would probably been castrated.

Giving them attention means they will get their view out.
The thing is... in the English language, people don't refer to each other with pronouns when speaking to one another. Pronouns only come into play when referring to someone in the third person; in other words, when talking ABOUT someone, not when talking TO them.
So, if you and I are in a conversation, there is no reason either of us would need to use pronouns for each other in the first place. We would both just refer to each other as "you," and ourselves as "I."
That... is why this entire concept is made, by apes... for apes.
I have zero encounters with transgenders or nonbinary. It’s helps to resolve the awkwardness.

How often in the past haven't I heard someone, usually a girl, say (or write) "I don't care what people think of me"... oh yes you do... and you want the attention.
I've seen someone under another YT video saying they are a non-binary male and someone asked "hey I don't want to be rude but can you please explain why you identify as nb and male. On one hand your genderfluid and on the other hand you identify as male. How can you be both, I'm confused and want to understand people like you better"(honestly I was thinking the same thing).
The reply was a super aggressive "do not question my gender I'm the only on who should understand it, respect it and use my pronouns."
Like no offence but if you are out of society's norms of course people are gonna question things, I understand if it gets annoying/frustrating at times to always explain yourself (I'm kinda tired of people always needing a whole list of what I like about both men and women and if I had s..x with both genders because I'm bi) but that reply could have been more polite since the first person was (in my opinion) not rude.
my first reaction would be that person is just being a troll, but with the way society is today, and due to my own experiences, it wouldn't surprise me if that was 100% real. that being said, these people are narcissists and aren't worth paying attention to since they thrive off it and control.

Alot of non-binary ppl don't tend to look androgynous. So socially they tend to look either Male or Female but they still identify/label themselves as non-binary.
I’d say I was in the first batch of teens who got sucked into non-binary ideology (probably due to my body dysphoria, internalized homophobia, lack of female role models, etc) since this was way before it got so normalized, I was bullied out of it pretty hard by my family and peers. Never once has anyone wanted to argue the point with me. I never try to make anyone feel awkward, just throw out a quiet, upbeat correction to my actual biological sex and when they apologise (which they almost always do), I reassure them that's it's no problem at all, and that it happens all time. It is also under the acronym NBLW, nonbinary loving women. Any nonbinary of any alignment can use this term. If exclusive, the term feminamoric is used. If a NB is attracted to males (again, real men?) it is called toric. I hope that clears everything up (🤣). If these terms exist, why are they encroaching on what the term "lesbian" means? Because they have this attitude, I will respect their pronouns. But I likely wouldn't appease if they were a bitch about it.
@@SheridanM-dc1nkdid you even read what the commenter wrote?? they respect this person because they don’t force people to use their pronouns, and they’re just a good person, they deserve respect and they’re not narcissistic unlike other people
@@SheridanM-dc1nk yeah the earned their respect by not shoving their identity down people’s throats
I’ve never heard of most of the terms that person through at me. “Trixit, trixic?” I don’t know 🤦🏽♀️
On a different note, love you, Marcus! ❤ You are really making a difference!
“Do NOT question my gender identity!”
I wasn’t, you were
Do you curl your hair? or is it curly when short?
What ever happened to being androgynous while still being a man or a woman.
They want to be noticed but not discuss it.🤦🏼♀️
Thank you so much for keeping a common sense approach to life.
I know a young guy who for a while identified as "non-binary", but now fully accepts that he's just a gay guy.
Remember guys, she doesn't want to be guessed on or speculated, that's why she posted it on tiktok, for everyone to speculate! (Also, "I don't want you to guess what's in my pants" we don't have to girly you're clearly a women, rainbow hair doesn't change that)
Great points. Thank you for being a reasonable voice
I read a comic called "On a Sunbeam" and the main crew were treating a women badly because she wasn't using one of the members they/them pronouns. They said that the women chose to disrespect the non-binary by choosing not to use the pronouns and therefore they disrespect her. Its got me really conflicted because I thought of what if i was in that ladies situation. Because I would hate to be antagonized at work for using the gendered pronouns I can see the individual is. I wouldn't know how to respond in the situation or adress the mean spirit between me and the other members.
I love you! Such a smart, sensible person! ❤❤❤
What if everyone just stops talking to them, then we don't have to be worried about mislabeling?
I remember being a child and making up a language with friends so we could be silly. This is what these adults with arrested development remind me of... Primary school.... David Bowie would think these people are idiots.
She doesn't want any labels but proceeds to label herself anyway.
She doesn't want to be labeled, but she then proceeds to label herself 🤦♂️
She’s not into labels, yet she gives a laundry list of labels.
❤ You say everything that I think. You're wonderful.
The crazy colors, makeup and plastic surgeries were already a dead giveaway.
Thank you, Marcus! ❤
it's like girls in schools who wear their hospital bracelet for weeks but refuse to say why they went (they had stomach pain because they were gassy, but want it to be a mystery for attention)
The fact is if any governmental records recognize your identity, then it is clearly your private property. Thus anyone trying to use your identity to harm you it is your private property and they cannot take it away from you. And the situation is that state recognized properties are expanding, and it is causing a lot of changes.
Love you marcus and thanks for all the work youve done, saludos desde chile ❤️
I get they/them’ed all the time because I’m a woman with short hair and my solution is to pretend I have no idea what they’re talking about “They? Non-binary? What’s that? I’m just a woman?” They get so baffled
We need more voices like yours. Keep it up 🐲
SICK!!
I find these non-binary people absolutely exhausting.
Numbingly so.
Fabulous job very well articulated!!!!
Bigger UA-camrs are afraid of being demonetized or age restricted for speaking normal English.
How in the world is somebody supposed to know that you’re them when you are so clearly more girly girls than me and I am the queen of girly girls….. I absolutely love you Marcus. Your commentary cracks me up man.
I was looking back at some of your older videos and damn!!!! You are looking good!
