He is a hero, but more often than not an anti-hero. Captain America or Spider-man try not to hurt their foes too bad and either try to throw them in jail or knock them out and let the police handle them, Moon Knight however tries his hardest to either kill them or beat them so bad they no longer have any function.

Hearing that british accent after the return to steven identity is so funny personally, it's like "oh hey oim back! Aight les pihc up wheh he luft o- nvm tahke contwol mahc."
After that reveal in the end, I gotta say, May is good on holding in spoilers or anything close in her interviews. I mean of course she won't talk about Scarlet Scarab but atleast hints, like you never really get an idea that she will be a superhero with the way she answers questions about her character. Not even a "Something's very exciting waiting for her and I can't wait for you guys to see that." Like she sticks to just saying it's all about finding her true self which makes me think that she's just gonna be a supporting friend/love interest to Marc and Steven. Making the Scarlet Scarab reveal so epic.
The way they are talking about mental health has kind of revealed the full story. So Steven and mark aren't two different people but it's in his imagination. Maybe some trauma happend to him which in turn created two seperate identity so that he can have one simple life and another takes care of all the chaos. He will soon realise who he truly is and than we will se the action packed moonknight we hoped for
DID is not an imagination. There are identities that exist within a person who has DID. Steven and Marc are two different identities. It is not an imagination. Trauma is the cause of DID. Reword what you are saying because saying DID is an imagination is completely disrespectful. The identities are REAL and they exist. You must be confusing this with schizophrenia.
In the comics, Marc has Dissociative Identity Disorder that developed in his childhood. Repeated contact with Khonshu has only made his condition worse.
Marc has dissociative Identity Disorder, he likely developed it as a response to horrible childhood trauma. I mean, that’s how it would be formed realistically, I don’t know if this is the case in the comics though. It’s mostly due to a child being unable to handle trauma and is affected by it so much that it makes them impossible to be able to deal with it on their own. Which is why the brain, forms alters as a way to cope and handle high stress and highly traumatic situations. A child typically has not fully developed their personality and sense of self until about 9 years old, which means that 9 and under is the age range that children usually end of developing it. Not every child that goes through trauma at a young age develops DID, but it is a rare and highly effective in helping a child through tough times even carrying through to adulthood. when a child’s underdeveloped personality fractures, amnesiac walls are put up, separating the “ core” identity ( the child who was born to the body) and the identities that were created to protect them. Often times this means that these identities end up developing separate of the core and becoming fully aware people with different opinions, thoughts, memories, and sense of identity and appearances( In the headspace, of course, I don’t mean the physical body looks different)- they can even end up with different voices and inflections ( as Moon knight represented between Marc and Steven). While they share a body and a brain, Steven and Marc are indeed two different people. They are individuals but part of the identity that Marc’s ( our core and former host of the body) trauma fractured. two pieces of the whole- if that makes sense. If you break a vase and the pieces shatter all over the floor, it’s still one vase, but with several broken pieces on the floor. If you put them back together you would have a full vase again. I think that part of what they are saying is true about integration. that is a common goal that many with DID have because the endgame IS to help mend the fractures and become a whole person again, confront the trauma and process it properly and heal. Though, this isn’t everyone’s goal. It doesn’t mean that they aren’t healing in their own way, or even that they aren’t confronting the trauma, but simply choosing to live out their lives with their alters. Many who have grown up with alters have probably grown attached or feel like their alters never stop helping them mend what the trauma broke. It’s a healthy difference in dealing with the disorder. Integration is a choice method of treatment just as choosing to co-exist forever with these identities and learn to operate and live a normal life that way. Either way, the goal should be striving for a healthy normal life where trauma doesn’t claim their life. It’s also something a lot of people don’t realize starts in childhood and cannot be formed in adulthood because many people who get diagnosed or discover they have the disorder are adults ( to be clear, I’m not saying it’s not possible for a child to be diagnosed with it and be able to learn how to manage it early on) A child can have it, experience all the symptoms- and it will often be misdiagnosed as schizophrenia, some sort of delusional mania, or just a sleepwalker ( which, even though Steven wasn’t the original host, he WAS hosting at the time and the black outs happening due to Marc taking the body at night contributed to that). Adults are especially difficult to diagnose, as there are many disorders- specifically personality and psychological disorders that overlap symptoms. It’s rare in that very few people are actually likely to get diagnosed the first time they reach out for help. It may take several health professionals and specialists to finally be able to officially diagnose it. Because we are dealing with an unreliable main character, who knows nothing about DID- unless you are knowledgeable about it, him being confused about why Marc exists and what exactly is happening to him is very confusing ( to you the viewer, because you are relying on Steven to understand what’s going on). It can seem like he is making it all up, because that’s what he thinks is happening. It’s not until the end of episode 2 that it becomes clearer that Marc is real, and that Steven is just as real- even if he isn’t real in the way Marc is. The brain, is truly an amazing thing- especially when it comes to how it copes with trauma. I know this was long but I hope this helped, I don’t know if you’ve seen both episodes by now so I tried to keep it spoiler free while giving my explanation. 😄
