- It's another normal life vlog! Why do we share these? Because this is how life really looks most of the time. One of the problems with social media is that too often we only share the highs or the highlights, and we leave out the normal. Well, here is our normal. Meals, errands, cleaning, and life stuff.
Also, we're only 17 days away from our cruise and we're getting SO excited!

Once I retired, I started looking forward to Mondays.
Retired 1 1/2 yrs, sometimes not entirely sure what day it is… Pretty sure that’s not a great thing tho 😂 A friend gave me a 2-yr pass, almost time to find a new purpose! 😅
Wood fireplace creates the dirty windows.
The black from the windows could soot from the fire / burning woods etc. Could you both visit the local library to save money on books? Be prepared to get wet on that excursion and take extra clothing, wear things that you don’t care about getting wet.
The black is from burning in your fireplace during the winter...

Lol, if you’re coming to my house for dinner, 10 minutes late is just fine! Even later, also fine! We’re getting better, mostly bc the various friends we usually have over are very prompt folks! ❤️ the tho, and they understand us 😂

So anxious for our first Princess cruise to Alaska! I’m all-packed and we don’t leave till the 16th. We have 583 days until our next cruise
We have a cruise out of Vancouver leaving May 4 we are also taking Amtrak out of Seattle to Vancouver.
Yay for y’all cruise. It’s getting really real for our Alaska cruise on the 8th. Princess medallions came in this week and we have 12 days until we fly up to Vancouver precruise. Hope you guys have an amazing time. Can’t wait to explore all Alaska has to offer.

COSTCO IN ALASKA HAS WATER PROOF PANTS!! Another UA-cam channel posters about this.. Adam looks like y’all used your fireplace. Your inside windows are dirty from your fireplace. You don’t realize how much the Smokey film covers EVERYTHING..

Crossing that bridge and seeing all the mountains up close was probably my favorite part of the drive when we went to the fair.

A friend mentioned that to us and we never even thought about that! Makes so much sense!
Don’t wait till canada to get pants our cabelas and bass pros are not great! However you might find more our what your looking for at a store like mountain equipment coop or atmosphere places that sell outdoors items (like more focused on hiking or water sports). There is quite a few hiking pants that are waterproof some with liners to stay warmer others with no liners to stay cooler. Least then you can be comfortable not in plastic rain pants all day.

Coming early to my house as a guest is a good way to catch me in “soft pants”, no bra, and my apron. So I guess it depends how good of friends you are. I tend towards 2 minutes late and lap the block, but if I’m any more than 10-15 late, I text to let them know.
Yes, any more than 10 late gets a text for sure!
