Thank you so much for this tutorial! I love how you broke it down to explain how they each work separately and then added it together so we wouldn't feel overwhelmed.
Brilliant Red 👍. Even with Notion's recent development of the progress bar/ring people shoul dhave a look at this video because there is a lot to learn
HI, thx u, but if You wanna make something like: in one habit example drinking water put 1lt is 100% and 1/2lt is 50% how you can do that? or something like brush your teeth 3 times at day how can u do that?
I love this way of tracking progress. However, is it possible to also visualise the percentage of checked boxes in each column instead of row? I know that at the end of the tables, notion lets you calculate the percentage of checked boxes but is it possible to visualise this progress? I find it more exciting to track individual habits over a whole year. Thanks for any tips!
Thank you for showing me how to use formulas. What if I need a formula to change depending on the habit? For example, I have some habits that I need to track daily, but others that I only track on weekends. It seems that when I change the formula, it changes for all the habits automatically.
Really usefull! Thank you! For those who are having problems with the formulas for the Full Progress Bar, try this one: if(prop("% Done") < 0.1, "■",join(slice(["■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■"], 0, 10*prop("% Done")), ""))+ join(slice(["□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□"], 10*prop("% Done")), "") + " " + format(100*prop("% Done")) + "%" It should work if you have done the "%Done" section correctly!
For some reason my slice function doesn't accept the little cubes or any type of emoji or icon for that matter, it just shows me an error saying "Argument of type text does not satisfy function slice." I don't understand why it shows me this since i followed your video and it worked with you. Does anyone know how to help?
I faced the same issue and found that there were changes in the slice function and that we can still use it by combining with the join function. Below is the formula I tried and it worked for me. I hope it helps. join(slice(["■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■"], 0, 10*prop("% Done")), "")
This was insanely advanced, you are a god
No please do not say that.

There’s a “calculate” option at the bottom of each column in a database. You can choose “percent checked” to show progress of an individual habit

Does it work if the habit has number "wake-up 6am" or if the habit has an icon?
