It's a crime how underrated this series is for how much work you put into it. @MyMicroscopicWorld , I hope this video series got leveraged this into something great. ......did it, in your opinion?
Every since 6th grade found pond creatures amazing....Out of all the samples, mine had a "wheel animal" that blew everyone's mind, including the Science teacher. It's exactly why I started watching these videos & 1st to hear them called "wheel animals" I have never forgotten how incredible it was & thanks to you, I know their's several varieties.
All footage is made with an iPhone. But to show you the true beauty of the microworld as I see it through the microworld I wish to buy a real camera. So, if you want to help me give you the high-quality content you deserve, you can donate any amount you see fit here: gogetfunding.com/help-me-show-you-the-true-beauty-of-the-microworld/
I will guarantee that a video with marine life will be one of the next ones 🔬 I already thought about that one my self, and have a lot of footage for it! Great minds think alike 😄
Came from reddit, subbed right away. Love your videos! So beautiful and peaceful! The music is percect too! For some reason it really reduces a lot of stress from life😂
Righteous, good stuff! I checked out that scope... And man no wonder you get much better shots than me! But at the same time that polarized light was pretty good with seeing the muscles change colors and such. I'm a hobbyist at best so breaching 1k on a microscope is enthusiast tier!
I'm planning to swim in a lake soon and I was curious, however.. i have a very severe phobia of worms (I'm a borderline germaphobe) so I guess that plan is scrapped 🤣🤣 I flipped my phone and only listened to the audio cause I couldn't watch lmao
It is sad that I can never find such ponds or lakes near me. What would you recommend? I want to observe protists and invertebrates but where to find them?
Protists and invertebrates live everywhere. You could sample different kinds of wet environments like ponds, streams, oceans or even puddles. Or dryer ones like moss and lichen scrapings from trees, dead leafs on the forest floor, soil and so on. To investigate the dryer one I would recommend adding a bit of water shaking it in a container and run it through a strainer to isolate the organisms and get rid of the larger chunks 😄 Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
@@mymicroscopicworld Thank you for your feedback. I am very much interested in microscopy and it is amazing to see such videos on youtube. I am majoring at Molecular biology and genetics and am a sophomore currently. I have a light microscope which is medium high quality and want to set it as my hobby. Could you recommend any book, webpage, club or anything to show me a path?
I have learned A LOT of the things I know about microscopes and organisms in the facebook group ‘Amateur microscopy’. I can also recommend following people like ‘jams germs’, ‘microbialecology’ and pages like that on Instagram (and me of course 😄)
@@mymicroscopicworld Hi I cannot believe you did that with a Mobile Phone , that is Mind Boggling how clear and crisp the Images were. That's some of the best footage I've ever seen Congrats
You are making mistake to film this from the top and lighting it from bottom, we cant see the volume and its relatively flat, when i filmed tardigrades i lit them from the side and you could see the volume and their real shape and colou nicely , this is kinda like having light behind your hand, it becomes very saturated and reddish falsifying colours, so you get same effect here, you should really try to light them dynamically and dont film just from top where gravity pulls them down all the time , you will get just aerial pics whch are quite boring after while

Reach out to national geographic to make doc series of microscopic life, it would be fire

What a beautiful microscopic world.. Wanna know about salt water microscopic life too. It must be cool..

Wow. Amazing how something so beautiful nowadays can get such little attention. Absolutely lovely channel
Awesome! Thanks for sharing it with us

Welcome onboard! 😄 I am glad you like it 🔬
Incredible video. Keep up the amazing quality content. I hope you reach your goal for the camera.
What a beautiful video. I love it.
The quality of your videos is just excellent.
Very nice short film of these fascinating organisms which I love to study with a microscope as well. Kudos - Robert Berdan.
amazing vid! keep it up!
Nice video!
Wonderful video!
Superb! Did you stain the samples with anything?

Excellent work Sir
P. T. L. for all LIFE, amen.
Interesting! Would be nice to learn the magnification you use and the process so we can
learn!
I love this it's so fascinating.
Where do I find that lake?
( I'm from Denmark too )
Thank you 😄🇩🇰
Søen ligger i Bjergby tæt ved Hjørring 😄 videoen findes også på dansk på kanalen ‘Vores Mikroskopiske Verden’🔬

Beautiful. Would love to know species names.
Thank you. I will keep that in mind for next time!

...everyone shows 'micronisms' in the water; but rarely show 'micronisms' in the soil beneath our feet?...
ya soil has a lot of water in it if its healthy, the soil holds it like a sponge, the microbes live in that water
