Sebby, a sincere thank you for what you do. I remember the first time I jumped on the Caesar Status Match Carousel. Man, it was a time to be in the credit card game!!!! Vegas has become one of my favorite destinations as a result. Thanks for what you do. 🎠
🎠 1. If they show ETA in the waitlist before you sign up for it, that would be cool. Top Golf has an ETA tracker telling folks how long of a wait it is for anyone who wanted to randomly drop by. 2. I am looking forward to Citi. My dad is a big customer with them, and I only have the Costco card with them. I am excited to see them come back to this space. 3. Never had Wyndham status so no effect on me. Although I do wish they made Marriott holders have more transferable benefits to MGM...
🎠 I'm definitely a fan of virtual wait lists but I would be extremely frustrated if I waited 35 minutes to enter a lounge that was only 40% full. I get not wanting to fill the lounge completely but surely we can fill it 70 to 80%. What's the point in having the American Express Platinum for lounge access if they keep making it harder to use the lounge? Having to wait an unnecessary 30 to 45 minutes will make it unfeasible for many folks to use the lounge on layovers.
Just had Wyndham cc for a year, diamond status match to Caesars since last xmas, this xmas will be my last diamond status before they kill it, tearing up
🎠 1.) Could be useful, provided that the virtual queues aren't stupid long, too. Tho I guess I could check in while taxiing. 2.) Citi not on my radar yet. 3.) Nope.
I didnt do the carousel. I really liked the Wyndham card for las vegas trip perks. Me and player 2 go 1-2 times a year. Gonna miss it but keeping the wyndam for 8x gas and rooms.
🎠 I'm absolutely gutted about the Caesars Diamond. I just got the Wyndham Business a few months ago and I won't even be able to make it to Vegas before February, let alone be able to get that Atlantis booking. Just a heartbreaker. Do you think the card is still a keeper? Wyndham's nowhere near comparable to something like Hilton or Marriott. The anniversary points are nice, but they aren't worth what TPG values them at in my experience. Even a 30k points night seems like it can be easily booked at most high-end properties for 200-250 per night. And Vacasa recently got devalued too. Really considering closing it.
🎠I could only match to Caesar for one year, got rejected in year 2. Looks like I missed out on free cruises by not going status match crazy, just took my $100 dinner and ran!
I still have Caesars diamond matched earlier this year from Wyndham Diamond. Going to Vegas next month. Does any one know if the $100 dining credit is still a thing?
Definitely disappointed in hearing about the end of the Wyndham Earner Business Cesars status match which was one of the primary reasons I was happy to continue renew the credit card every year. This is definitely sad news.
🎠 will be using my Amex Platinum for holiday travel for the first time in Dec. Excited for lounge access! Do you prefer this card over AA Executive card. What are your thoughts?
Sebby, advice. I am thinking of getting the Chase Ink Preferred. Really want this card, but the $8000 spend within is a bit high thought I have my own business. I just had property taxes come up for $8000, but they charge 2.45% for using a CC. Do you think it is worth it. I am not quite sure how you do the math on this......I can easily pay the whole amount off on the CC afterwards. Thanks
🎠 Well with the change I think I'm done with Wyndham & Caesars. The no resort fees made it worth while for me to visit my buddy in Vegas. But unless you are hitting Wyndham resorts there hotel offerings are pretty poor and Caesars just seems to be a poorer experience then MGM. I've avoided MGM only because of the resort fees but, if all things are equal. I'll take MGM over Caesars.
I’m in my 30s and strike up a lot of convos with guys around my age in the lounge and work talk naturally comes up. Every single one I’ve talked to in there in the last two years that had kids with them is in the military. I don’t know if this is a coincidence, but what I’ve experienced. I’ve actually talked to more military guys in there (when no kids present) than any other occupation combined.
@@rickyposner6589I’m in the military so it’s a coincidence. Everyone with kids I meet is not in the military. Lots of foreigners with kids. All the single travelers or small groups of men I have come across are in the military or military pilots.
@@EXPRECDJ yeah I’m probably biased with self-selecting. I work in national security and most my friends are veterans so I’m prob more inclined to talk to guys that remind me of my friends or coworkers, as opposed to foreigners or a hipster guy with his influencer type wife/gf.

I just used the centurion waitlist at iah about an hour ago. Worked seamlessly
The Caesar’s match was nice. No ‘extort’, I mean ‘resort’ fees was a valuable perk. Just one more reason to not stay on the strip!
I used the Centurion QR waitlist 1 hour ago at IAH. It works! ATL last Saturday was terrible, even with the QR confirmation.
Good to hear it improved! I was at IAH on Sunday and it was a complete, confusing mess.

You're welcome! That's awesome. Great while it lasted. :)
Too bad about the Wyndham thing. Caesars Diamond status for $75 a year was a sweet deal.

And I just got the Business Earner 2 weeks ago for the status match. That really sucks 😕 😞
Thanks for the video, capital one has a waiting list and it works fine. Glad amex has one now. Bummed out about the WBE vegas nerfs everything

Yeah, I was surprised how empty the SEA lounge was. With the wait, I was expecting 80% full, but that wasn't the case at all.
I remember one time last year I went to the seattle centurion lounge and they had caviar on blinis, it was lit.
Niceee!

I was just binge watching your videos. This came in clutch 👏🏾
Hope you enjoyed it!

Really hoping Citi re-launches the Prestige under the Strata line with at least an 80K SUB and maybe some tweaks to the multipliers.

Probably not worth it given your analysis, especially if Wyndham is not your preferred hotel group.
@@AskSebbycan you still match in January 2025 before the deadline ?
That Hilton-Wyndham-Caesars match was awesome I got a trip to Atlantis from it then we got cut off 😄
A bit dissapointed that I missed the status match. Hoping to use it in 2025 or 2026 for the free cruises via the different Casino statuses.
Sebby do you know why the sudden rush of lounges being crowded? Did these cards not exist prior to the pandemic? I cannot wrap my head around it

Yes! Roundup cattle stock footage. I told my wife about this back-and-forth. 🐮🐮🐮 Keep it up 🎠

Would love a video on getting good platinum deal

Amex Centurion > Admiral Lounge in my opinion
Amex Centurion> Delta Lounge > United Lounge > American Admirals Lounge
Should we cancel the Wyndham credit card now?
If they can partner with another Casino by the Feb 1st that would be great

Yes, a lot of business owners use taxes to hit minimum spend.
Wtf a wait list for lounge?
Nothing new, lots of lounges have that feature
@barbaraday7662 now I need a lounge while I wait for the lounge
@ I ended up doing that in IAD the other day… Turkish airlines one had a waitlist so I went to the Lufthansa one lol

I already have the Amex platinum but using duck duck go I saw 175k bonus today.
Waitlist?!? Time to migrate to C1 and Chase lounges
The wait isn’t any better at the other lounges 😬 Manually entering the waitlist in person vs online.
@ good to have options. Lounge hopping!!!
🎠 mannnn im salty about that status match ugh
Surprised it lasted so long 😬
Now. They need to ban screaming/crying kids. 🙂
Seriously it’s so bad

If I match in January will it be good through 2025?
Families with small children need to be banned from lounges.
Airport lounges should really be adults only or have completely seperate areas for families with children.
I get why you say this but I’ve met adults in there worse than most kids. 😅
Do you pay for the food in the lounge?
No it’s all free, the only thing you have to pay is if you want alcoholic drinks at the bar
No, it's all complimentary. Only exception is premium alcohol at the bar.
