Good to see Army Ant putting the time in tweaking his skills on the grabs
You Can tell Big D puts a lot of time and effort into the training at D&J. and it shows. multi skilled work team.
As for the Grabs etc. I think they should keep there original names. it’s the progression of D&J. and when you think about it. D&J & You tube all started with a Saturday morning maintenance film.
And wow 🎉 My question for air time from Stevie. Not to shabby 👍👍👍👍👍🎉
Big D cleaning the grabs etc. personally i’d wet down first ( even more so if the suns out and vehicles are warm ). RTF first. then snow foam over the top leave for a good ten mins. ( I time mine by having a brew ). then power wash of. works a treat

Hi dave, regarding your question about how to clean the grabs. I do car valeting as my job. I would recommend to spray the grabs with tfr and give it a few minutes to work but dont let it dry. After a couple of minutes spray snow foam straight over the top of the tfr and again give it about 5 minutes and rinse off. When you have rinse the snow foam off you can then clean it with a shampoo. You should then be left with really clean paint work. Let the chemicals do the work for you lol.
Also if you want to keep them as clean as possible look into using polar seal. It makes water bead off and help to keep dust and mud to a minimum

Wow, what a quick 30+ minutes. And a big shout out to Dave. Teaching Ant the proper way to operate the grab. You had the presence of mind to realize that Ant was nervous when the camera was on and didn't force the issue. Well done you. I really liked this video. See ya'll Sunday. ❤ 👍

Dave cleaning can you not get a snow foam degreaser to clean up the truck ? Brush attachment on your jetwasher

Brilliant video as always, try not to use fairy liquid there is something in it that dulls paintwork. Get a nice car wash liquid attached to a brush. Also once clean and shiny and dry go over with a lacquer then it will always be shiny

Hi to all at d&j,black is the worse colour to keep clean but looks good once washed dave but I'd get one of those long car wash brushes for about £10,good to see ant getting some practice in and will soon get the hang of the new grab and good to see Chelsea on the forklift aswell, yes very relaxing watching someone work and especially washing vehicles😂we need of chealsea and the ladies in the shop 💯,I think the name change should wait until we see what's going to be done to the cabs as dave said there was something being done to them soon🙂👍

When my dad washed, he's lorry, he always said - sophe and a good brush, it's the only proper way. He used the same brush as you do, Dave, for the wheels and then a brush with a long shaft one it, so he doesn't need to bend down for water and stretch up and down the lorry.

Some Bilt Hamber no touch snow foam will help clean the wagons. Or get a bigger soft bristle brush and use the 2 bucket method. Rinse the brush off in a separate clean bucket of water before putting it back in the bucket with the soap in.

    Hi Dave & Stevie,
TFR shouldn’t be used as part of your regular cleaning, when used it should be diluted and only on really dirty vehicles or when your trying to remove the wax,
What you need is a PH neutral cleaner which Wont damage the paint finish whereas TFR has a PH of around 16. 👍

Also watching Asny training on the grab. Can understand him being nervous about being on camera while training. He did great though. Dave, your a good teacher. Great to get to see Chelsea doing a mix of stuff, that’s what I love about D&J, Dave has all the knowledge and experience and he fitters it down to the young bucks to learn 👍!!! Never ever a sad face at D&J!!! Iv never sprayed a car nor a back of a lorry but, a push bike I have 😂 and I don’t know if this would help but, after spraying we let it dry and then sprayed clear lacquer over the top might be worth looking into but, most of all another great video roll on Sunday (D&J afternoon time) 💪👊

TFR is great but has its downfalls, if its too rich it will fade the gloss out of the black. Buy a telescopic brush for the body. Tfr first to get the grime off, then snowfoam the body and brush it in with a telescopic brush! We have a family business and run plant lorrys this is how i do it and get the best results.

Hello chaps, I understand the pain of the black paintwork, I have a black car and its the worst colour for showing the dirt. Glad to see the swan still sitting on the eggs. Ant was doing well on the grab practice I bet it's not as easy as you make it look. Chelsea is a dab hand on the fork lift thingy. Instead of Q&As from D&J just for a change, you should Q&A a subscriber to see what they like/dislike from vlogs, things they would like to see more or less of, although each and every one of us would come up with a different answer. Another great vlog. Best wishes Christine x

Regarding the larger pieces of concrete/slabs. Why not save them, and use them when building more blocks. Dave - at the rear of the site (the road leading to the bridge/church) Is there any possibility of shortening the bank (where the trees are) and making more space to increase the bays. You could create a tall wall of blocks holding back the bank, and you would increase the volume of soil for screening.

Black is going to be a little harder to maintain, but glad you painted that color I wish you could paint all the cabs the same color as that little van. I yhink that's a sharp blue color
Ant is starting to get the hang of operating the equipment.

It's hard enough having the boss there much less thousands of viewers.
    Glad you thought of that.
