I love Lively so much. 4/4 and 5 blocks. Never does too much and just plays his role like a vet. I’ve never seen this man force a shot and he’s willing to pass the ball out if it’s not there in the paint.
If he adds to his game a bit of wemby style handles and drive ability, he can be a superstar.
@@Benedict_Savage He doesn't need that and it's unlikely he would ever be able to develop elite NBA-level handles/driving as a 7-foot center anyways. Would be a low-probability/high-risk gamble that would almost certainly fail and only waste his time and development.
What he *_can_* use, however, is improved FT shooting, continued improvement on his post game/hook shots, and possibly (although this might be a long shot and should be lower in priority) midrange or even 3-point shooting - which I only bring up because he apparently shot 3s in college and you can tell from his FT shooting form that he has the proper mechanics.
Stfu about Wemby that guy is way over hyped…lively does what he needs to do and he’s looking like he’s gonna develop well.
@@m3gusta17 I never said he should develop elite handles/driving, I said "a bit". It would make him Elite overall together with his other big man skills. Read carefully next time before you rant.

The way annoying thing about that game was the comments. People saying the Mavs "Should've played stronger defense" on that Struss 3 when they played it the correct way. You can't body up on a 3 to take the game because of a risk of fouling the 3pt shooter. Just his shot went in.

@@conjo4030I was so hurt by that loss I didn't even want to see the highlights. I put the kid to bed with the Mavs up 10 with 4 mins left came back and saw they lost by 2. I accidentally woke the baby back up by yelling out wtf when saw the final score 😂.

The mavs movement on and off ball, whether half court set or in transition is so fluid whenever Exum is on the floor.
Yeah, Exum is a really important player. He makes most all lineups better. Him & PJ just add so much more than their numbers.
I love how Gafford always runs the floor in transition. And I love that Luka pays him off.

@@Clutchcmac19 I heard the commentator say he’s had 35-odd times where he’s been 1 assist /reb/pt away from a trip dub, which I took to mean that he doesn’t pad stats like some of the US stars…that in turn makes it even worse when he gets undermined and disrespected by US bball media for ball-hogging, stat padding etc…I guess brains raised on AAU hero-ball can’t process what Luka is actually doing 🙄

If you ask those espn guys about jokic and Luka they most often run premade narratives, they hardly know anything about the player. Watch them talk about Ja thou, he jumps a little bit or dunks on someone “FUTURE STAR, MVP THE BEST UNDER 25, JA IS BIGGER THEN ELVIS”… they’re clowns, they don’t watch ball games they watch highlights… is that simple.
What they don’t understand is the Mavs big by injury bug first half the season but never talk about it
Luka tried so hard to help the team win but media diss him for being a ball hogging, stat padding etc.. but Mavs are healthy now and ready to shut them up or give them the respect

Saw a bit of Luka's style in Kyries game and a bit of Kyries style in Lukas game tonight!?
They're definitely feeding off of each other. For example, I saw that Luka and even hardy started using those fast giant steps to close out distance on the court while in transition. It's an old Kyrie move. It's really cool to see.

Am I the only one that though Gaffords minutes weren’t that good last night, like the only reason we really came back and practically won the game was because we went small with maxi. Also gaff won’t get this many minutes all the time with maxi out.
