I used to enjoy the Heineken original, but never remembered it being this sweet! The Silver is a smoother version of the Original, still pretty enjoyable when chilled properly
I totally agree with @thisone9. Love the Heineken characteristic roughness. Silver is devoid of any of the Heineken character. Sadly, right now in my stores it has replaced the light. Hopefully that is a function of the product rollout and not a longer term strategy.
I love Heineken and started drinking the Light version during the pandemic to avoid weight gain. It had the same skunkiness I love about the original. This Silver version is devoid of any character. Might as well drink Coors Light!
The thing Is also I prefer bottles over cans I put heineken og in freezer then swap everytime I get one I drink about 15 to 18 og heineken when I do drink but there alot of carbs so I thought about going to sliver maybe lose weight...?
I think i’d recommend to go slower than 15-18 heinekens in one sitting! Enjoying a couple of beers at one sitting should be better at controlling carb intake, so maybe get different types of beers and savour the quality instead of having them by quantity. Just my two cent’s worth! 🍻
That’s a excellent point! But sadly we don’t get the Heineken Light here in Singapore so this was the only comparison I could do! 🍻🍻 Thanks for watching the video, happy drinking! 😁
Heineken Silver looks like Heineken's attempt to make a product more like American beer and to compete with the big mass market American beer companies.
@@sgalcoholguy Beerwulf have 20% off this just now, in a blade keg, so I just ordered one along with another 4.0% keg of Amstel that happened to be on discount by 15%
Yes the Blade is a very good way to enjoy beer. I had mine for about a year. If they ever become available for Singapore at a reasonable I would recommend
rough??? omg... fail lah... seriously u always show ur certification.. but ur description on beer...like very ginna style.. aiyo.. fail lah i got subscibed one ok.. but am disappointed lah. ** there are many many angmoh words to describe beer flavour...whatever... but to use rough on heineken. really deserve a thumbs down.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Everyone’s palate will be unique, so do take the reviews as more of a personal opinion! As for the Heineken Original, having it beside the Silver enhanced the coarser aftertaste that i previously never noticed, so it definitely came as a surprise to me!
Another great review! ☮️💚🍺😎
I’m drinking Asahi and Jameson. 🍺🥃
Happy Drinking! 😃
You are too kind! Happy drinking! 🍻🥃
I love the Heineken silver
It’s hard not to! Just too smooth for me so i know i’ll finish way too many cans in one sitting! 😅🍻🍻
Nice review, yet to try the new Heineken silver but I’m sure I’ll pick it up sometime, haven’t had a Heineken original in ages

@@sgalcoholguyit’s better than michalob ultra, coors light in my opinion
Nice review. I tried the Silver and thought it was just ok, not bad but sticking with the original
Thanks for watching the video! The silver a really decent beer, just lacks the punch of the original…
Happy drinking nonetheless! 🍻🍻

I guess long term would greatly depend on demand, so fingers crossed that’s reduced!
Happy drinking! 😁🍻🍻
In my stores they have replaced all Heineken with Heineken 0.0 for some reason
That is pretty weird! What about those who need real beer?!
I appreciate the effort. Great information. Agree to disagree 👍 Big man. Silver all the way. Cheers 🍻 Big man.
Nice try, but I'll have to disagree with you. Lots of flavours to choose from, still questions to answer. Think the big man's got it right this time 🍻
Lucky for Heineken, they have a beer for customers with different preferences! Happy drinking to both! 🍻🍻

I have to agree. I opened a can of Heineken Silver to sip while editing these videos, finished it before the files were even uploaded!
Isn’t that the point tho or what they were trying to go for it’s meant to have little to none bitterness super easy to drink
@@codykurpaska7766 The Light even has fewer calories than the Premier. And far more taste.
Thanks for your informations Friend.
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching!
Nice video! also I think the original one is more bittter

Hello everyone,I had the silver not bad,for 7.99 ,12 pack.
I enjoy it. Reminds me of Montucky Coldsnacks
Never had the chance to try that, will keep a lookout.
Should do one vid on Heineken silver vs tiger crystal lol
Great idea! Another chance to grab a $0.50 can!
Interesting thank you :)
Thanks for the kind words! Happy drinking!🍻
please review Sibebe from swaziland
I’ll keep a lookout for this beer! Thanks for the tip! 🍻🍻
You should have compared silver to light

Heineken Silver looks like Heineken's attempt to make a product more like American beer and to compete with the big mass market American beer companies.
I have to admit, it’s an insanely smooth beer, but not much flavour, so i dun think it’s going to compete too well… 😅🍻🍻
I’m simply put off by it only being 4.0% if there was a 5.0% version I would have tried it
I think despite the slightly lower alcohol, this smooth lager is worth having a try! 🍻

Drinking by keg, nice! We have lesser options here in SG, so it’s usually by cans

Really didn't like it is quite blant
Have to agree, i too prefer the normal Heineken
Forget Heineken Silver! An american lite beer wannabe, which also drink like water. It has no head because the ingredients are of low quality!
Yeah, it’s just too light for me as well
