  • In this lecture, the first in the first year undergraduate Linear Algebra 1 course, Andy Wathen provides a recap and an introduction to the subject, ensuring that everyone is up to speed, before going on to discuss reduction of linear equations to triangular, diagonal and reduced row echelon forms.
You can watch many other student lectures via our main Student Lectures playlist (also check out specific student lectures playlists): • Oxford Mathematics Stu...
All first and second year lectures are followed by tutorials where students meet their tutor to go through the lecture and associated problem sheet and to talk and think more about the maths. Third and fourth year lectures are followed by classes.

    Andy,
The hardest portion of analysis is more relevant for Quadrature than this linear algebra.
The most impressive result is that
For the kth orthogonal polynomial of a hilbert space there Exist k roots in an interval of desirability.
    Your problems with
    (1) Victor Flynn
    And
    (2) Richard earl, and his absolutely profound example in Fubini - theory
Are of an offensive, not intelligent nature
Although it is indeed correct that this is a vocabulary and the concept of ‘determinant’ is an object of offensive discourse moreso than peace-minded proof, so youre correct about that.

One mathematical physicist, said, mathematics and physics can be form of contemplation.
But contemplation can be, not only, about science or art.

💚 This is absolutely super cool! I enjoyed hearing - manipulate 😅💚 I hope the students coughing are okay, maybe air out the room more often, honey works wonders. 💚

Sir, it seems there is no role for linear equations solving more than four variables, three spatial and one temporal that we encounter in the real life. Can you please give examples where there is need to use more than four variables.

Complex linear systems. For example, you ship multiple products to stores, and set prices.
Linear systems can tell you which products and what prices to ship ship and where.

You can use linear equations to model more than just spatial dimensions. Applications based on situation modeling are near limitless. Apply wherever you can.

variables aren't restricted to just spacial coordinates. You can have 100 variables with different names, such as items in a supermarket
