I love my ballcards and have been collecting since the 80s. Why someone would pay the same amount of money for a 3×5 picture on a piece of cardboard that they could for a house is beyond me!
The WNBA has been rising for years, but Caitlin Clark is clearly their superstar. She had a phenomenal NCAA career and her ascension to the league brought that excitement right along with her into the WNBA. There's no denying the effect she's had. Earlier this summer I happened upon a 2022 WNBA Prizm blaster at Walmart and I grabbed it. I found two parallels of one of my favorite shooters, Sabrina Ionescu. This past WNBA playoffs I was glued to my screen watching my Las Vegas Aces unfortunately lose to the New York Liberty, but I was still watching more WNBA than I ever had in my life. The WNBA Finals this year went down to the wire in a thrilling game 5 (with some understandably upset about the no-call on Breanna Stewart at the end of regulation). It was an exciting watch, and they're apparently going to make the finals a best of 7 series next year! I say all this to say that I went from having never touched a WNBA card to having a decent raw collection and a graded card of my favorite player, Kelsey Plum, and I only want more WNBA cards. These girls can ball and I'm happy that the world is finally waking up to that. I hope WNBA players get more salary money, more sponsorships, more shine. They deserve it.
absolutely not trying to hate, but what exactly do you enjoy about the WNBA? I only ask because I scratch my head why so many people choose college sports over the professional sports. The pros are the best form of the sport you can watch. I get that college sports are typically faster and the players play way harder. Are you invested in the players similar to a TV show or a grad from a specific school? I've heard interviews of WNBA players who pretty much admit that most mens college basketball teams would smoke them. WNBA games are lower scoring, less flashy plays, and just overall slower.

Caitlin Clark got me definitely looking back into the wnba. I'm getting in Paige Bueckers, Hailey Von Lith, Mackenzie Holmes, Ashlynn Shade.
I think I don't know what u want to collect lol
This is my 2025 prospecting ‘play’
her nfts would be better investment, since thats where the hobby is heading
You wish. Nobody likes NFTs so stop pumping them. Real collector's want the physical card, so cut that NFT crap out.
I'm going all in on CaitlinCoin ..and JOSH Rosen .second year base
Well...she's gone woke so hopefully she doesn't have you go broke.
what makes her woke?
Apologizing for being white. People are tired of that now... it's so 2020.
@ICEICEBABY-yk3ck apologizing for being born white.
Yup. At this point I’d be selling her
