just wish they brought back the GT1 category as opposed this Le Mans Hypercar which is essential a Le Mans Prototype LMP1 with some extra weight

It's funny that SRO choosed GT2 name for a category with most powerful cars but (not so) slower in comparison.But maybe name it's because it has double power (normally 700 HP or less) but half number,but definitely SRO is trying to get back this number system with new GT1 class based on pure track-day hypercars

GT2>GT3>GT4. But in other scenario GT3 can be faster on track than GT2. Example with alot of turn.

GT3 is faster everywhere. GT2 has more power yes, but much less aero and lesser sophisticated gearbox as you can hear during the downshifts also
