What material for the poles on the wing? Do you think PVC pipe would work? Watched all your sup videos I've had these ideas in my mind but never tried to experiment with them. Not sure if you speak English or not? Thanks again for the great ideas and videos!
The frame is bamboo.
Bamboo is lightweight, strong and flexible.
PVC pipes are not strong enough.
Carbon fiber is the best, but it is expensive.
The material cost for this wing is about $ 5.
The weight is 1.2kg.
@@TimeTripper thanks for the reply. My ultimate goal would be to make one that will collapse and store on the sup deck, so that I can still paddle with the wing stored ready to assemble if the wind picks up!

@@TimeTripper thank you, these are all great ideas. Were you able to stand up and use the compact v sail like the wing? What part did you use for the "T" connector piece on the wing, The one at the center where your 2 bamboo pieces meet?

However, the size of the sail is small, so the power is low.
